I had an epidural a couple of weeks ago, and had several unusual symptoms I had never experienced. I put THREE calls into his office regarding 3 unusual symptoms and got one call back handling only one of the symptoms. I called again at night so the medical assistant would call me first thing in the morning, saying I was still concerned about my symtpoms and wanting to see the doctor and NEVER got a call back! The medical assistant is the conduit between the patient and the doctor and his medical assistants is unprofessional and doesn't seem to care for Dr. Guinto's patients. I'm frustrated and disappointed.

They rescheduled me for a week after the priorly scheduled appointment. Then they called and left me a voicemail canceling that appointment. I called the office back and they said the next appointment was months out and they'd have 'Zoe' call me. Well I never got rescheduled and never got ahold of anyone. Still no follow up appointment months later. Honestly this place is the WORST office I've ever been to. I give up. You can BET they are calling me to pay my bill though, so that's lovely. Bottom line is they push hundreds of people in and out of this place and money is all they care about. ----------------------------------------------- I saw Dr. Guinto who seemed genuine and listened to my concerns. At my first visit I had to arrive an hour early where I then waited almost two hours to be called back into the room. I then got my MRI. MRI department was wonderful. No complaints there. I had some issues trying to determine why this doctor suddenly said out of network when a week earlier it said he was in network (my insurance ended up solving the issue). The office staff was of ZERO help. They have been so rude when I have called in. Now I'm trying to schedule a follow up appointment, and they are over a month and a half out AND do not care about working around your schedule. As much as I appreciated Dr. Guinto, I'm going to try to find another doctor and go here as an absolute last resort. I have a M-F job and cannot spend 3-4 hours total waiting to be seen by a doctor. It's very difficult to even get the time off for a visit as Is.

During that time, while waiting in the waiting area, I have also heard other patients share similar concerns about their experiences. This past month, it became unacceptable. The staff was unprofessional and lacked sincerity. Basic customer service--such as clear communication and courtesy--was missing. I had a critical 6-month diagnostic follow-up for a prior abnormal screening, and I was told my appointment needed to be rescheduled due to a shortage of doctors. I was then offered a new appointment two months later, which is not appropriate for a time-sensitive follow-up. When I expressed my concern and said I would go elsewhere, I was told I could not because I was "under their care." I was given the office manager's contact information, but my call was never returned. Due to the urgency of my medical needs and the lack of response, I formally requested a release from their care. I signed a release form, obtained my past five years of imaging on a DVD, and transferred my care to St. Agnes--and I am very glad I did. I highly recommend that current patients consider doing the same. The difference in professionalism, urgency, and patient care at the new facility was significant. I expected much better, especially after being a long-time patient.

Checked in and given paper to confirm and shortly later, not even 5 minutes, I was called back! Very kind, welcoming worker called me back. She was Great! Easy to talk to. She did the ultrasound. Very simple & quick! Wished me a good day and left! GREAT! It's a really beautiful medical imaging facility! Calm, safe & clean! Honestly, I couldn't get over how simple and quick it was. As a patient they treat you with respect and are friendly. Their waiting room is comfortable and inviting. When they call you into the office, they take you into the dressing room. They have wipes available to wipe away lotion, deodorant and a gown to wear during the procedure. The dressing room has beautiful purple curtains. They have lockers to put your clothing and valuables in safely. Your next move is to the examination room. Everyone is very professional and they want you to be comfortable. At the end of your visit you are escorted back to the waiting room to leave. Very quick and efficient place to do your mammogram.

My wife and I stopped by InVision without an appointment and got in after a short wait. Man let me tell you, this is the way all ultrasound rooms should be setup. Monitors everywhere so no matter what way the mommy is looking she can see whats happening on the screen. Plus a big comfy bed, couch, and chairs.
