When you face medical issues it is imperative to have clear, high resolution imaging coupled with thoroughly detailed reports. Every single time I was getting imaging done my physicians were becoming frustrated with vague non specific reports. One specialist suggested that I get my referrals sent here and only here for the reasons mentioned above. Usually within about a week of insurance approving the imaging I get a phone call from scheduling. The facility hours early and late hours that are accommodating to those that work normal working hours. Customer service: I have always been greeted kindly and quickly or asked to please hold while dealing with a phone call or a patient in front of me. I have never waited for an appointment longer than about half an hour. Cleanliness: the facility including restrooms have always been very clean. If ushered to a room to change, the rooms have been clean and so are the back waiting area with the lockers. Providing explanations: It is important in the medical field to provide explanations for testing and imaging especially if they are invasive and involve contrast or an iv of any kind! I have always received very thorough explanations and asked if I understood and had any questions. Imaging: images are typically loaded the same day and reports are usually loaded in a few days. I have never had an issue with adding an extra doctor like my primary on to have the report sent to them also. I have a few doctors that want the images on disk and it takes about fifteen minutes after the appointment for them to do so. Reports:Every report I have received from this imaging center has had extremely detailed info including size, characteristics, noted other items/issues in viewing field, changes of previous imaging done, recommendations, findings, ... Will I return: EVERY SINGLE TIME I CAN AS LONG AS ITS COVERED BY MY INSURANCE! read more

This place suuuuuccccckkkkkksssss! Sitting here still. It is currently 3:20 pm. My appointment was at 2:20 pm. This is a reschedule on their part too after they cancelled my original appt due to a call in. I have to drive almost an hour and a half to get here so I have no choice but to continue sitting here waiting. I will never come back here. The front desk ladies are nice though. CONTINUATION: I didn't get called back until after 4 o'clock. Changed into the gown and sat and waited to get my IV. IV in off to the MRI machine. I was handed squished up earplugs while I was already face down so it was difficult to get them in my ears. No headphones with music (I've had several breast mris and was always asked what genre of music would I like - here nothing.) which then makes the MRI super loud. Face down and the face donut didn't even come close to reaching my face. Was not offered a warm blanket or any blanket for that matter and it was freezing in the machine. No instruction on what was to happen or any communication during the procedure. Just not well cared for here. read more

TERRIBLE CALL CENTER!!!! If I could fewer stars I would!! I want to start by saying The staff at Sierra Imaging are wonderful!! Professional, friendly, helpful!! Absolutely no complaints with the service, the imaging, the wait time, the staff. All were great! The call center (to schedule appointments) was horrible! Unbelievably horrible. No compassion, reading off a script without listening to questions. Speaking fast with an accent and very very difficult to understand. My 86 year old mom could not understand a word and asked for another person. They were just as bad!! So I called for her and she was absolutely right!! I had to yell at the guy to STOP TALKING as he rattled off address, not to eat or drink, and other instructions. I couldn't even get a word in as I was trying to write down the instructions, address, etc. please please fire them!!! This is a terrible representation of your business!! I left Sierra Imaging in tears after my MRI appointment because of how I was treated as a profoundly deaf patient. I rely on hearing aids and lip reading to communicate, and the tech showed no interest in accommodating that. When I explained that I would not be able to hear instructions once my hearing aids were removed and earplugs were in, he argued with me instead of taking 15 seconds to give me the kind of support I am legally allowed for my disability. I have lived with hearing loss my entire life. I know my own limitations. Being told otherwise by someone responsible for my care was dehumanizing. I wasn't asking for special treatment--I was simply asking to receive the necessary instructions before my hearing aids were taken so I could understand what was happening during my MRI. Once my hearing aids are out, I hear almost nothing. Once the earplugs are in, I hear nothing at all. To argue that I would be able to hear through the earplugs is incredibly inappropriate. I know what I need to hear, and earplugs without hearing aid access aren't it. Rather than working with me, he became frustrated when I asked him to repeat himself and only wrote down directions at the last minute before putting on the neck collar and sending me in. After 25 minutes of being uninformed and ill prepared during the MRI, I tried to gently advocate for myself and explain ADA accommodations so that other d/HOH patients are treated better than I was. This only served to inflame his frustration more. He dismissed my concerns and justified his behavior by saying other people with hearing aids can hear him without them. Hearing loss is not one-size-fits-all, and every deaf or hard-of-hearing person has different needs. He also told me he was "doing me a favor" by seeing me at the end of his shift because another imaging office had scheduled me there without properly notifying them. I had no way of knowing there was a scheduling issue. Instead of helping, he made me feel like a burden for a disability I cannot control. Getting an MRI is stressful enough without being made to feel unprepared, dismissed, and accused of exaggerating your disability. I filed a formal complaint and will not return to this office. No patient should leave medical care feeling humiliated for advocating for basic communication access. Seng, if you're reading this, the manager's name you claimed to not know is Monica. I've emailed her a detailed account of your medical negligence and refusal to listen to what this Deaf person was telling you. You could have apologized and taken it as a learning opportunity, but instead you doubled down and made an already stressful situation incredibly traumatic. Do better. read more

I've had an extremely frustrating experience with this imaging facility. Despite providing my ID, insurance, and completing paperwork multiple times, my name was consistently spelled incorrectly on all of my medical documents. It took significant effort just to reach the medical records department to request a correction. After finally speaking with a representative and requesting updated documents and images with the correct information, I was told I needed to wait for a manager. It has now been three weeks with no resolution. Additionally, attempts to contact the facility have been unsuccessful. Calls to the front office are repeatedly disconnected. Overall, this has been a very unprofessional experience, especially when it comes to handling accurate patient information. read more

My father was scheduled this morning for MRI & Amber called me 1 hour & half to tell me my elder 73 year old father was double booked by scheduling department. This was very frustrating since my father had to prepare 12 hours before of a clear liquid diet & fleet enema. When talking to Amber her lack of empathy & blaming the scheduling department & telling me I can go else where if I wasn't happy . She couldn't even give me her supervisor number. Show up for my ultra sound. (Registered on their site (RadNet) prior to appt and uploaded insurance card. Get here they check me in and tell me I have a $45 copay. I explain I do not have a copay for scans (had this issue with them before). They tell me to call my insurance to get a referral number, I tell them I uploaded my card for them to get the prior authorization needed. They said they can call. Now 10 minutes past my appt and they say we have no copay but earliest they can get us in is 4PM, 1.5 hours from now. read more

This place is terrible with keeping appointment times. First time my husband had an appointment they said they were running an hour late so he rescheduled. Next appointment they told him they were running 30 minutes late which then became more than an hour late. I do not recommend. Horrible over seas phone service where everyone has an all American name like John Smith but barely speaks English. I requested an open MRI when talking to someone in thr Philippines to make an appointment for bilateral knees and lumbar spine but they failed to get that into the computer. Then 3 weeks later they needed to change the appointment due to no tech available, then several days later another call from them where we discovered the last person still did not get me in an open machine and they need to reschedule again. Now I have to change the dr appointment when I was to get the MRI reports. HORRIBLE ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS Creating issues for me beside another month of waiting. I appreciate the techs and office staff for going above and beyond to make sure I was informed and comfortable during my MRI and Ultrasound exams. I am very surprised that this place has low ratings as I had a very pleasant experience. My doctor from Kaiser Permanente ordered imaging for me since I have been having complications . Anywho, my appointment was initially was supposed to be 06/21/22 at 2pm but they called me on a Wednesday letting me know they had an earlier appointment for Friday 06/03/22 at 5pm so of course I accepted the appointment. It was literally down the street from my living area so I was able to leave around 4:55pm and made it there by 5pm and was able to check in also. Ample parking. And warning signs posted if you have a pacemaker. Beautiful grounds like a jungle walking up. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist and she made sure I drink 32 oz water for my ultrasound and I had to go potty so I was hoping it wouldn't be a long wait. I completed everything I needed to before coming in which the receptionist was surprised. I like to make everyone job as easy as possible!! I just had to sign an authorization form and was informed to wait until my name was called. The waiting area was very spacious and clean and I liked the decor it was cute and stylish. My name was called a new minutes later and a lady let me know she would be doing both my ultrasounds. She walked me through the process and was very sweet and kind. Gave me instructions on what to do and gave me options. The only thing I didn't like was upfront if I was not comfortable with the second ultrasound they would cancel the whole thing geez. I'm like let's proceed since I made it this far and I am so use to it these days being poked and prodded upon xD She had some music playing which I liked !!! It even helped me practiced mindfulness and deep breathing to take my mind off the procedure. The radiologist asked me several questions and then let me know we were done and gave me supplies to use. I would love to have her again in a heart beat as she made me feel very comfortable and at ease! Overall, it took about 24 minutes to get everything done and I have no complaints it was such a pleasant experience! I would definitely recommend this place. Everyone was warm and sweet!! read more

I was checked in right away and just waited a few minutes to be called back for the scan. The girl who helped me was very nice and professional. She made sure I was comfortable and the MRI did not take long. I was soon on my way after she told me my test results would be sent to my doctor, where they would go over them with me. read more

Terrible billing practices. Had an MRI done 6 weeks ago. They charged my HCRA debit card for my copay. My HCRA needed backup to the charge. 6 weeks later still no billing and no charges to my insurance company. Now on hold with someone overseas that doesn't speak English well. Being told they over billed and will refund my card? Meanwhile my HCRA card is frozen and can't be used anywhere and they say it will take 30 days to refund. Filed complaint with medical board. If you reside outside Fresno/Clovis, I advise scheduling and then calling repeatedly, IF you can reach a person, to ensure they actually have your appointment and everything is good with your insurance cards. I live an hours drive away. I had appointments two days in a row. The first day went fine, the next day I was refused service. A manager cited a problem with my insurance cards that did not exist. I did not get as far as making an appointment! I called and the appointment desk seemed like it was sitting in the middle of a cafeteria. The person who answered has a strong accent, she is hard to understand and I am elderly and waiting for my hearing aids. I had to repeat myself self many times and she had to repeat herself too because of the accent and the noise. I have always had my imaging done at Sierra imaging. I have never had any problems previously with scheduling, etc. I have a referral for a CT and used the centralized scheduling which is an unpleasant experience at best. I scheduled an appointment for 0810, then get a text confirming my 0750 appointment. I have tried calling the local number and have chosen the option to speak to someone at the front desk. The phone rings 5-6 times, then a recording asking if my issue was taken care of and if I'd choose the same agent, despite never speaking to someone. I have a rather large copay for my visit and I bet I barely get through the front door before they expect payment.. but I can't speak to someone at the facility. Worst experience of my life. The Asian MRI tech was so unprofessional and not empathetic at all. I am extremely claustrophobic. I was told I would be in an OPEN MRI but it was not open. The machine is like a hamburger bun and the top part was so close to my face I felt like I couldn't breathe. Before starting my scan, the tech asked if I would like to go in to test how I would feel, I agreed to trying it out. Came to the realization that it was not for me. I started to cry from being so scared. While I was in the middle of trying to calm myself down and talk myself into doing it, the MRI tech told me he didn't have time and needed to know if I was going to do it or not since he has other patients waiting. This was the cherry on the top to my anxiety! I became extremely emotional. He was so rude and didn't care about my feelings. He was just there to do a job. Doesn't care about the patients and what they might be going through. The only part that was good about this place was the on site manager. She ensured me that it was ok and I didn't have to go through it and to call her if I changed my mind. She was the only good in this place. (Besides the receptionist, she was nice too.) I would expect the MRI technicians to be at their upmost professional and caring selves since they're the ones that are hands on with their patients. I am extremely disappointed. I would not return here again. Also the photos that are posted on this yelp for their open MRI machine is not the machine they put me in. Those pictured are more open. The one I was in was closed off. So they are falsifying their photos. They told me at the office that's the only machine they have there that I went into and it's not either one of the ones posted on this yelp page. read more

Scheduling and talking to someone here is beyond frustrating. Expect countless transfers and dropped calls. And I hope you're staying on top of your medical records and what your doctor ordered, because the staff here aren't. I was told I was having a completely different procedure than what my doctor asked for. I had to call again and talk with someone else to get accurate information Once you're there, everyone is nice. The scheduling system was very difficult to navigate. It took several dropped calls and finally I reached someone who knew what they were doing and I was scheduled as quickly as possible for an appointment. In spite of the scheduling challenges, my visit went extremely well. The x-ray tech and the Dr were both very kind and went out of their way to explain the procedure-before, during, and after. As someone who struggles with Dr visits, this was very helpful and calming to me. I appreciated the attention to detail and making sure the patient felt comfortable during each step of the procedure. The appointment was timely and I got results the same day. I am grateful for the excellent treatment I received on the part of the medical staff. Even the front desk receptionist was very kind and patient in spite of being so busy. First off, they wouldn't schedule me an MRI appt after I got off work stating that since I needed contrast, the latest they could do an appt is 3pm. Was called to reschedule because they scheduled be in the wrong "unit". Appts are minimum 3 weeks+ out. Already was having a negative experience until I finally showed up and waited 45 mins before having to ask if I was forgotten about. I was there for 1 hour 20 mins total only to be told once they got me half naked and exposed on the MRI table that I didn't fit their machine, I was "almost over the weight limit" and they refused to do the exam. This place lacks customer service, real local people to do their scheduling, and overbook leaving you waiting for hours. My husband could not accompany me into my ultrasound appt. Supposedly it was because of "Covid regulations". How is this possible? Those were lifted a long time ago! I called 3 days before my appointment to ask if he could accompany me back there and they said he can walk me in but would have to leave and could return for the last 5 minutes of the scan. And to top it off when I got there the waiting area was jammed packed and masks were not required....? Soooo how is this due to "Covid regulations"??? My appt was at 10AM with 9:40AM arrival. I got there at 9:35 AM and wasn't taken back until 10:15AM. Super unacceptable for a pregnant woman to wait that long after drinking 32oz of water and needing to pee!! The online general patient website was not working, so we ended up having to walk in. We were able to get an apt later on the same day. The staff took consideration for my autistic son Chris. Chris is 22 years old and trying to be more independent, so I stepped back to give him the experience to see what it's like to do these sorts of things on his own. We were in and out very quickly. Chris did very well. Listened to staff instructions. We were so proud of Chris. Thank you, Sierra. Imaging staff for giving my son his first experiences on handling adult appointments. The staff was honestly wonderful and helpful however, I spent 3 hours trying to schedule an x-ray. The website would only let me schedule an appt for a site 33 miles away. When I finally got through to a call center, they said x-ray were done only at the Sierra location, on a walk-in basis from 7am-11am. I arrived the next day (today) at 7am, only to find out that without an appointment, they are scheduled for only one hour 8am-9am because they do not have a tech. Appointments are backed up for months. There are no techs. I have severe backpack and cannot get an MRI without an x-ray. I cannot wait 6mos for an x-ray. This is absolutely ridiculous and infuriating. No complaints about the staff but, there was zero information from the call center. Zero information on the website. Dr's need to be made aware of this foul-up so they can send patients elsewhere. Health care at its worst. read more

They wanted us here at 9:55am and I was here at 10:03 am. I guess they decided to punish us because we sat there for over an hour. Absolutely the worst experience of my life. It's hard to get an appointment for an HSG and the front desk manager is rude. I could hear her talking about me and saying if she missed her appointment she needs to wait until next month that's not my problem when that wasn't the case I had my appointment at 9am they were unable to do the procedure and asked me to come back after explaining this to her she gave attitude about the staff not telling her and that's the issue she has with people there. It was very unprofessional. My doctor had called to speak with the radiologist who was in charge of my procedure which their radiologist had requested and was told by the office staff she wasn't allowed to speak to him once again I had to talk to the office manager about letting the doctor speak to him and she hesitated to allow them to speak. In the end I had to repeat the procedure 3 times because they couldn't get it right. I would never go here. read more
