On 7/16/26 I had a CT scan at Fresno Imaging Center. It is now the end of the business day 7/30/26. No report about the results has been made available to my doctor or to me. It is difficult to reach anyone by phone but yesterday I was told there is a report but it has not been signed but they would facilitate getting the report. Nothing again today. My treatment has been stalled; my doctor said he cannot make medication changes or recommend additional diagnostics until he has the information he needs from this CT scan. In the meantime, I am in almost constant pain. The indifference to the patient is stunning. read more

I had a early appointment and was greeted by the person at the front where I had to sign a few papers for my appointment. The facilities are nice and clean and organized. The waiting room was pleasant with a TV playing in the background. The appointment was at 8:30 and they were right on time so I did not have to wait. I was in and out in a timely manner. read more

Well, this is a review for someone named Janna, and not for one facility in particular. I just called to ask some questions about some upcoming MRIs I was having, so I actually don't know which office she works out of, but nevertheless I want to rave about her. I've been going to Truxtun Radiology in Bakersfield for X-rays, MRIs, l mammograms, and DEXA scans most of my life, but I now live in Hanford CA, and "Hanford Imaging" here is where I've gone and it's now been renamed "RADnet". I've always been very happy with this company and almost everyone who works for them, so this is one more good experience with this woman named Janna who answered my call for information about CPT codes for MRIs. I've gotten injured in the last several days and need to have MRIs of my cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. I am booked for three different MRIs every half hour in one day and that seems exhausting, and I couldn't figure out why in the world they couldn't do one MRI from my neck to my tailbone. I Googled it and couldn't find an answer, so I called the main customer service number for RADnet, and luckily I got to speak with Janna. The first thing that delighted me was her very welcoming, friendly voice asking "how may I help you?" and her tone of voice actually made me believe she wanted to help me. That is so rare now, it made me smile and breathe and calm down immediately. I've been so stressed and in so much pain since I got hurt, had to wait about five days before I even got medication, and am NOT looking forward to having these procedures. I'm also unhappy I'm having to wait two weeks to get them. I explained to her that I didn't understand why I couldn't have one MRI that would cover those three areas of my spine, instead of three. I'm 75 and I'm injured in all three of those areas of my spine, and climbing in and getting out of that MRI machine three times was not sounding like a pleasant experience. Of course maybe I'll stay in the same machine but they'll just reposition me for the three different ones, and that would be better than what I'm thinking will happen, but in any case, I thought if I asked what the CPT codes were for Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar spine MRIs were, then I'd have a start to figuring out if I could have one MRI for all three areas. I haven't gotten an answer yet, but at least she tried to find out for me, but couldn't find anyone anywhere in the area who is doing MRIs in those three areas in one scan. I know just spoke to someone recently who said she had that done, but l I don't remember who it is or where she had it done. In any case, I asked Janna for the CPT codes and she gave them to me. Here they are: 72142 - 72147 - 72149 Note these are the ones she gave me, but when I went to look up which one was which so I could write it here I got completely different responses from ChatGPT, so that concerns me. Just FYI, and it has nothing to do with Jenna's review, but if this is sparks your mind about, but here's what I got from ChatGPT (who is smarter than Siri but still not all that smart - half the time she doesn't even understand the question and gives me some nonsensical answer. But I digress... 72141 - Cervical spine MRI without contrast 72146 - Thoracic spine MRI without contrast is Lumbar spine MRI without contrast is 72148 So whatever they are, that's not the point of this review. Everything! The lab on Thesta has incompetent people at the front desk & on the phone. Its disgusting!

Won't go into too much detail but I'm disappointed in the technician and the radiologist for being untruthful on my report. I need to contact your office so you can amend the false statement on my report. Issue one: was told my appt was at 6:30 and I needed to arrive 30 minutes early. The office didn't unlock their doors until 6:30 and I was taken back at 7:10. Issue two: I was the first patient to check in, had to take a seat, the waiting room filled up with a bunch of patients and somehow everyone got called back before me. ‍ Issue three: I asked about the imaging being performed and why it was different than the one I had performed a number of years ago. The tech told me the image she got was clear and the other procedure was not needed. Fast forward.... My doctor receives my report and the it states "patient declined imaging." What? I asked for it and your technician declined to perform the test. Not sure if this is a scam the office does to get patients to come back and bill their insurance for a second visit. Regardless,I do not recommend this imaging center they are dishonest and have unethical providers. You should have performed the imaging to its fullest as requested by my doctor. read more

I had an exam that was scheduled on 8/27/2025. I had a prior authorization from my insurance sent to the facility. On 9/10/2025, I received a call at 7:44 AM informing me that my examination was cancelled because my insurance wasn't accepted. Exactly 10 business days after I had made the appointment. There is no excuse for a facility to agree to schedule a service without checking up front about payment. This is an examination for cancer. I have no recourse but to get in another line and wait for the next available appointment. My guess is that the request should've been refused from the start because of the insurance and I would've been looking for someplace that did accept the insurance. Unfortunately, when you have a different group doing the review than the group doing the scheduling this is what can happen. This consitutes delay of care. read more

The employees are amazing, they are very honest and go above and beyond to help you in any way. It blows my mind that the insurance company is pay $240 a month would not approve my CT scan after I told them I was a recovering 20yr smoker who also been exposed to 8 years of breathing heavy insulation. I appreciate the initiative the employees took to help me get these images done. read more

X-ray Facility This was my first time at this location. After a bit of a wait, I was taken to the dressing room. After that I was taken to where I had a PET SCAN of my head, The procedure was not painful, I was lying down, however and my neck & head had to be positioned in a way that left me with a neck ache. I hope I'll remember take "small" cushion with me to support my neck, although I don't know if I'll be allowed to use it. The people working to there were nice. read more

I made appt in December.. was told what my co pay was going to be under $60. upon arrival i was told my co pay was almost $400. I wasnt prepared to pay such a large amount. i asked about payment arrangements and there stated i had no option but to reschedule when i vould pay. I took time out of work to go to appt.. and made sure i had payment that they told me i needed. I was very very upset. if i was told when making appt that it would be that much i would of made arrangements. I had to cancel appt that was needed. read more

If you can avoid scheduling here, do. Getting an appointment is very difficult. My insurance referral kept being delayed though insurance stated they had approved the testing. I was scheduled for a test that was not even ordered by my doctor, then the results from the incorrect test were sent to a random doctor. Imagine I received someone else's test and my results went to their doctor? Horrible! The scrubs that you have to change into smell too. All around bad. read more

This place does not know what they're doing!! Had an MRI that was recalled due to it not being clear enough. Went back to do a 2nd MRI and had to call back 2 weeks later since my doctor never got a report and they said they haven't even started a report on it!! The medical records lady was incompetent and had no answers as to why it's taking so long and kept asking me if I wanted her to send an email so it can be expedited, I said if that's your protocol, why are you asking me if you can do it, just do it!! Then get put on hold for 15-20 minutes just so she can say she sent the email!!WTH??!! GET IT TOGETHER FRESNO IMAGING!! read more

11-19-21 Had an MRI here after hours (evening), so there were only a few people on duty, (2) patients ahead of me (1) after me. I've only had a few MRI's done which were all at the Fresno VA. VA is always professional, courteous & efficient. The same for the Fresno Imaging Center. Despite the noise of the machine I was relaxed enough to fall asleep and was verbally informed as what to expect in the next week and received a follow up text the next day to complete a review of their performance. read more

My daughter was supposed to have an ultrasound. She checked in via text message. The website said she would receive a text when she could go inside. We arrived 15 minutes before her appointment. Not having received a text to come inside, we went in at 5 minutes past her appointment time. The receptionist was rude to me and said that we were late. I explained the text and she said, "well, yeah, you needed to come inside." I told her that's not what the text said and she didn't respond. We filled out the paperwork and then she said we had to change the appointment because the tech wouldn't have enough time to do the exam. I told her I took time off work for this and she said, "oh well." As we were walking out the door, she had, "have a wonderful day," in the most sarcastic tone imaginable. If you have a choice, do not use Fresno Imaging Center. Choose somewhere else. read more

I haven't been this frustrated at a medical facility since the height of the pandemic. Arrived for an MRI that was scheduled by my PCP earlier today. Already had to call my PCP to clear up the preAuthorization that she obtained 2 weeks ago and faxed to this facility. My appt was scheduled, Cancelled rescheduled and unbeknownst to me Cancelled a second time ALL without a single phone call to me from a human at this facility. Upon arrival, the front desk claims to have no Preauthorization associated with my chart. She has no desire to help the situation. My PCP has sent 5 faxes to the number provided and she "has no record of it" Meanwhile I have the PreAuthorization number and she has no access to verify it. I am in pain. I have been waiting 2 weeks for this facility to reach out to me. I initiated contact through my PCP today and they had all the needed information. I am at a loss to why no one is remotely willing or able to help this situation. We live in an era of instant technology and this place is not keeping up. I was told to go home and wait to schedule my MRI another day because I don't have my insurances preauthorization...what the heck? I had a difficult experience with the scheduling call center. Apparently FIC is outsourcing their call center out of the USA. I received a text to call Fresno Imaging Center to schedule an appointment for ultrasound. so I did. The CSR spoke with a very strong foreign accent. He didn't attempt to allow me to explain why I was calling. Didn't ask for my info, and tried to terminate the call. I was persistent, however and ended up with much misinformation. I asked to speak to his supervisor. He transferred me to the local office. A very nice supervisor called me and straightened everything out. Fresno Imaging Center bad on you for outsourcing those jobs. read more

Very poor experience. Scheduled for open MRI ,got there informed closed MRI only. Had spoken with personnel there 3 separate occasions before appt. Each time asked and was assured would be open MRI. Cannot tolerate closed MRI. As walking out noted room with signage "open air MRI." told it doesn't work. Now will wait nearly a month for open MRI. read more

My first time getting xrays done in Fresno, wish I had known about this place ahead of time. There are super long wait times. The reception staff has a dry affect and are rude. With the exception of the main receptionist. One intake receptionist called out my name incorrectly and I corrected her with the proper pronunciation of my name and she did not reply with a cordial "I'm sorry". The place is Incredibly packed. It smells like baby powder and poopy diaper. If you have private insurance, please go somewhere else. read more

Made a appointment 2 weeks in advance was ask to send all paper work over a link that they sent to my phone, the girls said ok your all set and made the appointment when we arriver for the appointment was turned away saying they don't have the request slip from the Doctors office . This is so wrong when people have to take off work and schedule appointments to be turned away with a 78 year old mother that is sick and don't know what's going on. First off this is the only medical office I've been to in the last year and a half where the staff wasn't wearing masks. All while repeatedly showing their ads on the tv in the waiting room saying "we're following cdc guidelines, we are wearing masks". Too funny, red flag. Also despite multiple reminders about timing, I checked in quickly and on time then waited over an hour to be called back despite the whole building being relatively empty. Lastly I questioned multiple times about a co pay when I scheduled my appointment, gave my insurance info, and the person helping me assured there would be none. And if there was she'd call me back and notify me before my appointment. No call, and sure enough, I come in and there is a sizeable copay. Not a fan of deceptive tactics. Definitely look elsewhere for any imaging. read more

This place deserves 0 Stars, came here waiting for 1.5 hours to take an xray, which is a 5 minute job, and after all that waiting they said there's still 4 people in front of me. There's only 1 xray tech, and they called her, she's not available, and they don't know where she is, long story short, I can't make it to my doctors appointment because of this, and when I came here 1 week before there was no tech available again. FRAUD ALERT Btw, they have you sign a form to charge your insurance before you even get the service, they are crooked, so even if you get pissed and leave, just like I did, they will still charge your insurance. I had an appt Saturday morning at 9 am. I was ontime. There was nobody in the reception area. I waiting in the lobby for 15 minutes. I went out to my car to call the office number and the calls go to Sierra Imaging. I let them know that I was in the lobby and there wasn't anybody there. During the time I was in my car making the call, somebody else walked in. When I went back into the office, there was suddenly a receptionist there that looked like she had just rolled out of bed, unkempt and the person that walked in was being helped immediately. The girl that was checking him in said to me that she had been there the whole time and because I didn't check in, I would have to wait. I told her that I didn't check in because there was nobody there and no sign in sheet or a sign with instructions or anything. She told me she was there the whole time, which was a lie. If she was there at her post, I wouldn't have walked out without any service. She told me I would have to wait and then mumbled something under her breath, when I asked her to repeat herself, she ignored me. I asked how long would I have to wait since my appointment was 20 minutes ago. At this point in time, I left. I already have anxiety about MRI's and if that's how they treat people in the front of the building, I did not feel comfortable going to the back. Also, my time is valuable. If you are going to have early Saturday appointments, have someone at your reception area, or at the very least post a sign with instructions to your patients. I am not an idiot and don't appreciate being gaslit. read more

In Aug of 2019 I waiting over 50 minutes before being told they couldn't do the CT scan due to not having lab work results. I was relieved and never returned. This business did not have a professional vibe (darkly lit due to florcent bulbs needing to be replaced, cheap dollar store wall decore, stacked boxes in the hall, a mannequin dressed in scrubs and a mask for what seemed like an inside joke or work humor, and no medical staff in sight...only the clerical staff and patients waiting). All these external signs caused me to wonder about the condition of their medical equipment and whether the staff were adaquately trained. Soooo glad they cancelled my appointment! read more

I have nothing but praise for this imaging center. I was visiting from out of town and had an urgent health issue arise. My primary care doctor faxed in an order for diagnostic imaging to this center. I found out that I would have to pay a very large deductible to my insurance due to being out of network (nothing in CA is in my network now) so the imaging center worked with me on another option to help make it much more affordable. The image was read that day and my primary care doctor provided me reassurance based on the result. If it weren't for this imaging center, I would have gone to an ER and paid thousands to come to the same conclusion. I am very thankful for the women who answered my phone calls and the manager who all worked with me on providing access to the services I needed. They are very busy and it can be difficult to get through to customer service- but once you do, they are helpful. read more

The management that runs this place has no care for the patients time. Here is how my appointment went. 2:00 PM appointment. Get there at 1:45 to fill out paperwork. Called back into the office 3:00 this is 15 min unacceptable. We spoke to the office manager and they didn't seem to care until I told them we will be filling a incident report with my insurance company. That got his attention! Too late though! The girl said things come up. I said well my time is just as valuable as yours! No comment! Hands down the worst X-Ray place to get anything accomplished its going to be a 3 hour wait. read more

I was scheduled for an arthrogram MRI at 0930. At 1015 I was informed by the physician that because I was on long term norco for chronic pain managaement, he would not perform the MRI under sedation. This appointment was made weeks ago and at no time was I informed of that nor that I had to stop taking my norco 2 days prior to the MRI. I have had sedation at other facilities in the past without a problem. When I informed this physician of that he stated that Fresno Imaging is not equipped to respond to respiratory emergencies and they would have to call 911 and wait for EMS to arrive before they could treat respiratory distress or arrest. Let that sink in. A facility that performs sedation is not able to respond to a known and common side effect of sedation: respiratory distress or failure. I attemtped to try the MRI without sedation but as I am extremely claustraphobic, I ended up having a major panic attack and left in tears. A formal compliant has been filed with my workman's comp insurance. I would not recomend this facility to anyone, especially those who need to have sedation. read more

I went there on Friday 12/31 to get X-rays and I got there around noon. I gave reception my slip that dr gave me & they said we stop doing X-rays by 3pm but we can't accept we r booked & insisted I go to Clovis instead. i don't want to go to Clovis too far for me & gas isn't cheap. they need to be retrained and realise people don't go to imaging centre because they want to it's because it's a necessity! it's not like I have nothing else to do but go kill time just to be rejected because some idiot doesn't wanna do his job! so if you wanna get an x-ray don't bother going to this place because they will not assist you go somewhere else I don't know where maybe have to go out of town because these people don't wanna do their job they're booked even though they stop at three and you get there early go figure! read more

I walked in there for some Xrays and there was some people in the lobby without masks. Putting everyone else at risk of Corona virus. They do not screen and rhey dont inforce mask wearing. Id rather go somewhere else where they take precautions. read more

Fresno Imaging Center is a disorganized mess, and G-H-E-T-T-O to boot! My daughter had an appointment for an ultrasound at 12:30 p.m. today and I should've known there was going to be a problem the moment we walked in and saw a full waiting room, with most of the patients being walk-ins without an appointment. In preparation of this ultrasound, my daughter had to drink 32 oz of water an hour prior to the scheduled appointment and not go to the bathroom until after the procedure, as the bladder needs to be full in order to get adequate images. This is a procedure I myself have had 3-4 times over the past 30 years and because of the type of ultrasound it is and the large amount of water you have to drink and hold for an hour before the appointment, the ultrasound technician will call you back for the procedure within 5 minutes of checking in for your appointment. At least this has always been my experience. After waiting 35 minutes I decided to ask one of the clerks up front how much longer would the wait be. She looked at her computer screen, frowned and said, "Let me go back and check for you." She does this, comes back up front and tells me the technician is downloading a report and it'll be another five minutes before my daughter is called back. "Downloading a report?!" Really???? When there's a patient with a full bladder about to burst in the waiting room and it's already 35 minutes past her appointment time!!??? This points to poor judgment or just plain laziness on the technician's part, or poor management of clinic staff overall. I sat back down and saw that my daughter, having to "hold her water" for the past 1.5 hours is very uncomfortable. Seven more minutes pass and my daughter is still waiting to be called back for the procedure and she's now in tears. I tell her to go the bathroom and I'll cancel the appointment. I approach one of the front desk clerks, cancel the appointment and she asked me if I "wanted to reschedule." I told her there is absolutely no way I'd ever come back to this poorly organized facility. I chose to bring my daughter to Fresno Imaging Center because of its convenience, as it's in my neighborhood. In fact, the facility is within walking distance of our house. I'm a military veteran and the Fresno VA Hospital is in the process of referring me to this facility for an X-Ray. This was done at my request for the reason I stated -- the convenient location in proximity to my house. However, after today's debacle -- I'm calling the VA as soon as I finish writing this review and tell them to send me to another imaging facility. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!!! I went in this morning for an X-ray and waited 2 hours and they did not call me. I had to leave because I had to get to work. Later on in the day I called them at 330 and I was told I can walk in but it was an hour wait. I arrive there at 4pm and the receptionist tells me I can't register because there is no x-ray tech. Either the girl I spoke to on the phone was lying or the guy at the desk. Horrible customer service!! I would avoid this place at all costs. I ended up going to the crmc X-ray department and only waited 30 min (as a walk in) so fast!! read more
