In those previous transactions I felt like I was working for my agent, instead of my agent working for me. I walked away from both of those transactions with a bad taste in my mouth about RE agents and a general overall feeling of sleaziness about the whole industry. In my most recent home purchase Sharon Seabury changed my perception of the RE industry completely. Well at least the small part of it that she occupies. The woman was a true professional and couldn't have worked harder on my purchase. Her previous professional experience both in the business & technology sectors is another great example of what makes her standout from the RE agent crowd. She just doesn't look at the transaction as solely an RE transaction, she looks at it from every angle. My purchase was a bit of an unusual situation and Sharon was "on" night & day seven days a week. She was extremely responsive to my queries and was on top of the mortgage company and the sellers agent from day one to insure everything was being done properly and on time. After selling my last house I swore I would never use an RE agent to sell a house again and would use a sold by owner service. Well if I go to sell my current home and Sharon Seabury is still in the RE business I will give her my house to sell.

Told me everything that we needed to do to make sure that the house was in position to get the very best price. She provided a photographer, who took great pics, and listed the house. We had a signed offer in less than two weeks for more than the asking price!! Sharon was there every step of the way, answering all our questions and taking care of any problems. We just really felt like we were her only client!! We had a hard time finding a house, with a very limited inventory, but again, with Sharon's help we just closed on a townhouse that had everything we wanted in the area we wanted it. Today I attended an open house located in Cambridge Massachusetts. When I stepped into the home…read morethis agent did not welcome me. She spoke to me in a very harsh manner and told me that I was not supposed to walk in the back door into the home. I explained to her that I was physically challenged and I could not stand in a long line in the front entrance. She responded by saying too bad it's not fair for the others to stand in line out front you need to go stand in the line. I was very shocked and appalled that an agent would speak to a handicapped person in this manner. The back door was wide open when I entered and was puzzled as to why it matter which door I entered. There was no sign or agent or anyone directing me beforehand not to enter that doorway. I have attended many open houses and no Agent has ever spoken to me in this manner. She was unprofessional and does not apparently understand that there's a Massachusetts law to accommodate physically challenged people. Therefore I had to leave the open house and not view it.

Beyond her incredibly attentive communication and her superior attention to detail, Nellie's background in construction really helped us in many ways- she even went above and beyond to help us understand things beyond her scope as a realtor including helping us plan out a layout for our basement walls, referred us to some great contractors for our HVAC needs and walked us through the MassSave program to help us with financing. She helped us to look at ways to increase our home's value for the future, too. With Nellie, we had an offer accepted on a home we never expected due to her understanding of the market and of what the sellers would be looking for- even though we couldn't pay top dollar. She didn't force us to think about a particular price- she was thorough with her research including local area sales, HOA review and local permitting and loaded us with information to help us decide what our best offer could be, always answering any questions we had. More than anything, Nellie was a super communicator, even working with our lender when we were unable to due to work constraints. Rubbish company... look elsewhere…read more I am sure this happens a lot and I am not one to write reviews unless I feel it is warranted. My wife and I used this company in June of 2018. The woman we worked with was a mess and completely disorganized. I saw it as a red flag and should have listened to my guy reaction. From minute one I had a bad feeling. Fast forward to February 2019 and the place we moved into is being sold. I know this happens and know it is unavoidable. My issue was with the agent though, as we had to go back and forth more than I ever had to before with an agent because they could not get their act together. When my wife and I had to handle the situation because the the errors the agent kept making in the documents I again knew we should have backed out and did not. The agent was working 100 miles per house and did not stop to check her work and only cared about the money she was getting for closing this deal. If I could turn back time I would use the agency I loved instead of this one. Flash forward to now and I find it unjust that this company gets a full fee when we will not even be in the place a full year and we had multiple issues with the agent we worked with. Never again
