We were looking for a house to rent in the Princeton, NJ area for our large family. Because we're…read morefrom New England, we were not very familiar with the area, and had no idea which areas to consider or what schools would be best for our four kids. We had a very difficult time finding a realtor who was willing to take the time to work with us - until we found Surbhi! She was very responsive, patient (with four kids and lots of questions, this is essential!), kind, and helped us finally find a dream rental home that met both our very long list of requirements AND was in our price range. I would not hesitate to recommend Surbhi to anyone else, and there is no one else we'll use when we are ready to find our next home!

I did not know Surbhi or her agency personally starting off, my local agent suggested her. So I was a bit apprehensive to begin with since she was a professional recommendation and not a personal one. I had no idea we would hit the jackpot with Surbhi!! My husband and I lead very busy lives, and we were worried about the impact of real estate hunting on our schedule. Surbhi made it so easy for us. She was very understanding of our time crunch and maximized the use of our time on our many house hunting trips. She was always on-time with a planned agenda, and when things needed to be moved around, got on the phone and rescheduled things for us in a jiffy I have never met a more organized and thorough agent before!!Surbhi helped us with EVERYTHING, from finding a lawyer, to helping with recommendations of financing companies, inspectors, HOA questions, getting on the case of anyone who was stalling at providing us with needed information and making real estate recommendations on narrowing down our search areas. She got us names of contractors for interior and exterior home work and offered great insight on the impact of their work on the home value. Surbhi's extremely professional, very knowledgable on everything real estate related, on-time, always reachable (get's back to you within 5 mins if you text her) and a very nice person to top it off :-) She made house hunting a breeze and kept us in-line reminding us of any documents waiting for our input!! With her help, we are now proud home owners and spoilt rotten with this fabulous experience. I don't want to deal with anyone but Surbhi going forward!!

Hopefully I will never have to deal with a management company like this again. There were near…read moreconstant heat/water/vermin issues; the hallway ceilings had leaks, and inside our unit the paint was bubbling/peeling/chipping from moisture issues, especially after heavy rains. The "fixes" that were applied barely touched the surface of the issue because the management company never wanted to invest in hiring people to get to the root of the problem. When moving out, we had to fight tooth and nail to get the money that was properly owed to us. It's been 5 months since we vacated the apartment and, though they are still scamming us, we have settled because we finally want to be rid of them. Meanwhile, they are currently being sued/investigated for violating other tenant's rights. Beware that they will claim they never received rent checks mailed out well in advance to try to get you to pay (illegally high) erroneous late fees. They also claimed to have to deduct a few grand in miscellaneous fees from our security deposit and when we tried to settle out of court they were always "in a meeting" and "trying to contact the accounting department" when we called and emailed. With our 3 years of history renting with them we had a feeling this would happen, and asked to know the amount that would be coming back to us a month before vacating (we all paid different amounts when moving in). Their answer? "That's too complicated to figure out now." If you want to rent here I recommend you know a good carpenter/handyman and have an excellent lawyer.

This brokerage needs to be reported immediately! Apparently I'm not alone. I should've read up on…read morethem before going the distance. I can't believe they've flown under the radar for this long! This is the most corrupt, backwards, lying, bait-and-switch, chop shop real estate agency I've ever come across. I wouldn't do a deal with their firm if they were giving away their listings! My only encounters with them have only consisted of lies and manipulation of people to try and do business. Shameful. They give the local Mom and Pop shops a bad reputation. I can't begin to discuss the disgusting interactions I've had with them. From their realtor, Jay, trying to cut my broker out of a deal, to lying to the owner of the house to cut me out, and bring in another buyer, so they can keep the whole commission, to accepting our offer and reneging a few days later, to coming back asking for more money..we agreed...signed...and they reneged again. To being in attorney review, and them and their client still showing the house and never going into attorney review on their end. And cut us out last minute! AFTER SAYING IT WAS A DONE DEAL! We listed our house for sale, to move into this Zastko listing. We have been screwed beyond belief! Our house that we live in, that's being sold, is getting multiple bids and we have nowhere to go now...with a NEWBORN IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER!!!!!! The greed shown by this chop shop of a brokerage is disgusting! It's bad for the real estate industry and deserves to be reprimanded. They've unfortunately crossed the line with the wrong guy. The wrong guy that doesn't walk away quietly. This is the just beginning. You've put my family in harms way. You will never do that another family again. MLS, BBB, State of NJ, City of North Brunswick and more. This amateur operation needs to be curbed. If you're looking for a home or looking for a realtor, look for a reputable company like a ReMax or Century 21. These people give the mom and pop a bad name. Thank you for ruining me and my family's Christmas and holiday season!!! You should be ashamed of yourselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The realtor had just left and turned around and said that he closed early due to the rain. Um, what rain?? It hadn't even begun to rain. So I said that it wasn't even raining. His next comment was "well you waited until the last minute". Excuse me? Last minute? There was still half an hour left. Last minute would have been 3:50. So he asked if he wanted to see the house and I told my boyfriend to forget it, the realtor is obviously not interested in selling and we are bothering him so let's go. He then said that he would show us the house, told him to forget it since we are obviously bothering him and he doesn't seem interested. He said fine and drove off. Realtor is Michael Satchell. Called his boss today and explained what happened. She said she would call me back and speak with him. She did call back and Micheal told her that he spoke to the homeowners who told him that if it started to rain he could close early and that he offered to show us the house but we declined. Again, I explained that it WASN'T raining yet and that we declined to see the house because he acted as if he was being bothered. She also told me that he was just getting over the flu. Well 1- he could have explained that, we would have understood, 2- if that was the case, he should have cancelled the open house or find another realtor to do it. He was completely unprofessional. I would have been more understanding if you said you weren't feeling well then huffing and puffing cause we showed up at 3:30 and you wanted to leave. She offered to have someone different show us the house, but why would I want to do business with you? I have told a few people about what happened and when I tell them what the agency is, they all tell me to stay away from Weichert. Now I see why. I can't speak for all of Weichert, but I would definitely stay away from this realtor in particular, he's a liar as to what he told his boss so who knows what else he will tell potential buyers/sellers

They all suggested a starting list price that was lower than I could've taken even if I wanted to. They were very nice, with many compliments but told me my house would never appraise for what I was asking (and buyers wouldn't be approved for mortgages that high). Then I met Donna. She was blunt and maybe a bit intimidating. She said my location was great, the kitchen/dining area was "special" and the main selling point she'd highlight. When I said I was worried about it appraising for what I needed to get for it, she confidently said something like "you never know what will happen, people have a lot of cash to put down on houses these days, so the appraisal may not mean as much as you think. I can sell this house." I felt she believed what she said. I decided to completely trust her. She made me (mostly) stop worrying and got my focus on getting the house sold. She even advised a higher listing price than I asked for. Donna was bossy from the moment I signed with her, about getting me to do certain things before she listed it. She was right about the urgency of every task, such as getting my basement cleaned out NOW, a railing for the stairs, and a few inexpensive tweaks here and there like curtain changes for lighting. I felt like a train wreck and wondered why she pushed me so hard to get everything done yesterday. i found out why fast. The day of my open house, the house was beautifully staged, much because of her suggestions. I got multiple offers that same day and a bidding war the next day. My house was SOLD under contract just 3 days after she listed it! She suggested which offer had the best chance for closing and told me why, and it wasn't the one I thought best. I trusted her and wow, she is a great negotiator. We got a bit more than the listed price, and the sale closed in 6 weeks. She was constantly communicative and involved during the entire process. She has an assistant who is very reassuring and professional too. Donna is savvy, and I am glad I let her guide the process. She doesn't get your listing for the commission and then disappear. She works for and earns every dollar. Go team Donna and many many thanks.
