Construction work on the intersection of Cty Rd 18 and 46 just cost us a windshield. A piece of…read moreasphalt flew off the top of one of the trucks working the construction and shattered the windshield of our vehicle. I was just very lucky that I wasn't in the vehicle also. I would have had a face full of glass. Husband called the company and the person that he talked to blamed him for not turning around and getting the name off the side of the truck. It's a two lane highway with 65 MPH speed limit and there were a number of trucks coming at him so there was no way that he could legally turn around and follow a truck. The company is taking no responsibility for something one of the people working on their site did in damaging our vehicle.

However, it took 30 hours to install a furnace and do some minor duct work. They charged 200 an hour, so 6000 on labor alone. Additionally, they failed to do their homework properly on what the job needed and needed to make an emergency after hours run for 300 in parts. This caused a charge of almost 1000 for the after hours service. They pushed back the job 3 times going from a weekday to a weekend and charged me for the 'emergency" which was caused due to them changing times repeatedly. This also does not include putting in an ac unit which they were unable to do. They said this was a "favor" but how is it a favor if you are making 6k in a weekend? Then blamed others when the responsibility for communicating with the person paying the bill is your job. Very disappointed overall. Especially with how they handled this situation after sending the bill.

We are so very tired of this unprofessional, disrespectful attitude. If you can't be bothered to work on residential property just say so. The first time they came they finished the shingles and gutter but didn't even touch the spot we suspected was the cause of the leak. They came back once more and patched a few more spots which STILL leaked. We were patient and understood it can be a guessing game. We called once more and they said they would send a guy out Monday or Tuesday. Those days passed and nothing. We called again and they said a guy claimed he came to finish the job and no one actually did. We've now been calling and messaging several times a week and they're no longer answering or responding, just completely ghosted us. We hired them because they had reasonable prices, but a classic case of you get what you pay for.
