I had been without a dryer for almost 1 year. I went to CENTURY APPLIANCE and the angels sang...I had found a dryer within my budget! Their prices are fair. Their service is prompt and when I hooked up that dryer and something was wrong and they sent their technician asap. Long story short they replaced the older version I had purchased and upgraded the dryer I purchased and did not charge me. Delivery, hookup and took away the faulty refurbished one. For over 20 years they have repaired and replaced my appliances and those in the 5 rental units that I owned until two years ago. That is a lot of appliances and all of them were and are old. I have never been less than 100% satisfied with their work, and with their advice when a repair was not needed or an appliance had to be replaced. The willingness to deceive runs rampant in this family-owned business!! BEWARE! Their son/delivery driver took a brand new refrigerator out of the box in my driveway, saw that it was completely damaged on both sides, and still wheeled it in to my home and then shoved it into the hole before I could see the damage nor did he point it out to me and let me know it arrived damaged. Turns out later they were willing to defraud their supplier too and try to get a credit on it. It is safe to say, in my experience, you're taking a big chance doing business with this company! GE frig (2.5 years old) with freezer bulb stop working. Online order for replacement 3 bulb LED light board...burnt out soon as installed. Called Century Appliance for further diagnosis. Appointment timely, Technician arrived in quoted time frame, good listening details issue & prior work, had all needed tools, full diagnosis and cleaned up. In end decided not to spend another ~ $430 to replace main control board. GE design such that this issue does not impact other lighting, all else seem working as designed. Will install $23 motion activated LED light strip. Most frig today only have 5-7 life span. read more

Had a pretty bad experience with these folks looking at my expensive over the range microwave that stopped heating food. Called several places and $58 for the service call was the cheapest I could find, which is incredible. Appliance Service and Parts charged me $90 the month before for a service call, which is ludicrous. Anyway, repair guy came out. Arrived somewhere in the middle of the several hour window I was provided. Didn't call before actually arriving, which is all too common unfortunately. Had to ask him to put on a mask (covid...) when I met him at the front door. Not a great start, but he did put one on. He said my microwave sensor was faulty and that it wasn't in stock at any of their parts suppliers. He said he would install it for free as part of the $58 diagnostic if we can find the part within 30 days. Cool! I asked him how much the part was. He said it will be about $250(!). He gave me the part number and I looked it up online after he left and it's a $20-30 part. Hmmmm. Got a text a couple days later from their office saying they can't find the part but "would advise replacing at this time" (replacing the part? the entire microwave? unclear). I texted her the name of a business online who I could buy it from and then have Century Parts install it and did not get an answer from that text. That was Friday. On Monday, I called them and pretty sure I talked to the same person, but possibly not because she didn't recall the text message thread and had to look me up. I asked about having them install the part for the original $58 if I buy the part and it arrives within 30 days. She waffled and said yes if it doesn't take very long to install, then said no actually I will have to pay for labor because sometimes it takes a while to install, then said she would check with the installer. Why is this not a clearcut answer based on their company policy? I got a call back saying they want ANOTHER $125 for labor on top of the original $58 for the 20 minutes he was here diagnosing the issue. I declined and said I'd get someone else to install it or do it myself. She emailed me a PDF of the repair person's estimate and it showed the $125, the $58, and $40 for the part, bringing the total to $225. In the email, she mentioned my "dishwasher" (the broken appliance here is a microwave). Maybe this was a fluke and normally they are amazing, but I was disappointed by all the miscommunications, especially when I ask if the installation will be included in the initial price and I'm told "yes" and then he says the part is $250 but then I find out later that he was adding together the price of the initial visit plus the cost of the part plus another $125 for the repair. This is all they do every day as the main function of their business, so I can't see how something so basic becomes so convoluted...and expensive. I won't be contacting Century Appliance for any future repair needs. read more

Bonnie the administrate assistant/scheduler is absolutely amazing. She worked non stop to submit a Dx, so my home warranty company (Choice Home Warranty, (which I would absolutely would not recommend) would authorize service I needed to fix my refrigerator. We spent a week trying to get the authorization. She contacted my insurance both by phone and e-mail. She returned my calls and texts promptly. She was phenomenal. The service technician was prompt, friendly, and thorough. I highly recommend this company!!!! read more

We have used Century Appliance many times over the years. We have purchased appliances from them, as well as having appliances repaired. They have always been extremely dependable and honest. Our latest repair could have cost several hundred dollars, instead they told us how we could lower the bill. The next day they returned and fix our fridge, without charging us another service call. I needed information to make an informed choice on a washing machine purchase. Who better to ask than the people who repair them. Boy was I surprised, the machines I was interested in turned out to be the brands with the worst availability of parts and high difficulty of repair. Century Appliance also carries reconditioned appliances, and I found a high end Maytag that fit my needs. I wasn't planning on a used washer but they were very clean and had a warranty. Very happy with the purchase. Delivered on time by Greg, and had a complete run thru with tips on care. Hauled off the old washer free of charge. After using my new washer a few times I am very happy I stopped in and will not hesitate to seek more advice or call for service. read more
