    We contacted Genesis for a washing machine repair. Came out next day and got it fixed easily. We…read morewere happy with the service, but for some reason, they refuse to send a receipt for the repair. We have a small home repair insurance policy that helps cover appliance repairs and other common household repairs. They just need a simple receipt for the repair to cover the cost. After talking with the owner (who was also the technician) multiple times, and simply asking for a receipt breaking down the cost, we have been completely ghosted over the course of 3 months. I would think that it would be a very simple task. Each time I talked with them, they said they would get it over soon. The owner said to text him instead, so I texted many times without a response and it was clear that the messages were being received. I am not sure what the reason is for not sending a basic receipt - either unprofessionalism, hiding costs for service charges, or something else. The service was good but I would not recommend this company if you are looking for basic professionalism that should be expected of any local service company. Not following through on your word is not a way to attract and keep clients. Even for an extremely basic task like sending a receipt. Our expectations are not very high but this company failed to meet them. No concern for the customer.
