I would rate Century Feet 3 out of 5 for the service, but much lower for customer relations when a problem arises. On July 9, I purchased two gift certificates totalling $178 for a lymphatic drainage massage. The recipient later lost them. I returned with the original receipt and offered to pay any reasonable replacement fee. The receptionist remembered both me and the transaction, yet I was told the certificates could not be replaced because Century Feet has no system for tracking them. I understand their policy that lost or stolen certificates are not replaced. My issue is how the situation was handled. When I questioned why there was no tracking system or alternative solution, the conversation became aggressive and sarcastic enough that I chose to leave rather than let it escalate. A business is more than the service it provides when everything goes smoothly. Customer service matters most when something goes wrong. Even if the answer ultimately had to be no, I expected professionalism, some effort to help, and a willingness to consider a better system for the future. read more

If you haven't had a reflexology massage before than it's time to start lol. We are visiting from Richmond which has a huge selection of these types of massage spas but in Kelowna there really aren't a lot of options. The good news is this option at Century is amazing. Sit back relax and get the benefits of a massage that hits your pressure points with just the right amount of "pain". Don't worry if it's too soft or too hard they can make adjustments on the fly. I love this place. I used to live in Vancouver and have really missed the Chinese foot massage places. So happy there is finally one of these places in Kelowna! I've been here quite a few times and have done the reflexology foot massages many times, the acupressure back/body massages a few times and have done the fire cupping twice. I've had a very good experience each time which is why I keep coming back. The foot/leg massages are amazing, I always feel so pampered and relaxed during and after. They're about 50 minutes long. If the pressure is too strong or weak you can tell them. WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY?: Also called "zone therapy," this mixture of healing art and science is based on the premise that an energy channel encompassing 12 vital organs exists from our feet to the tops of our heads. Applying pressure with his/her hands, a reflexologist unblocks that channel to restore proper health and organ function. The back/body acupressure massages are very nice and relaxing. So good for tight muscles. WHAT IS ACUPRESSURE?: Acupressure is a form of touch therapy that utilizes the principles of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. In acupressure, the same points on the body are used as in acupuncture, but are stimulated with finger pressure instead of with the insertion of needles. Acupressure is used to relieve a variety of symptoms and pain. And I love the fire cupping. It seems weird and scary at first but once they're suctioned on...it's actually insanely relaxing. The bruising usually lasts about 2 weeks and as you get it done more often, the bruising goes away faster. WHAT IS FIRE CUPPING?: Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, dispel stagnant blood to improve blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage. Anyways, the service is great. The owners and employees are very sweet and friendly. And the whole place is nicely renovated and nice, bright, and clean. Will be back again and again. read more

Availability: Called in at 3:30 on a Wednesday in June. They had room for 2 for 6:30 and 7:30. I question if this place has the capacity to accommodate large groups but many Chinese massage places will have trouble on a weekday with such short notice. Parking/location: across the street from London Drugs and next to Papa John's. Parking was spacious when we arrived. Cleanliness: Chinese massage places are unfortunately the only massage parlors where I have low expectations on cleanliness. This place is surprisingly clean and new! They have only been open for half a year. The floor is clean enough for a germaphobe like me to walk barefoot on though I am OCD enough to not do it. I don't have to close my eyes and pretend I don't see the filth here but can actually close my eyes to relax. Although I did not need the restroom so I cannot comment on that. Acupressure massage: My husband and I both had our shares of various types of massages throughout the Los Angeles region including Beverly Hills, West LA, Glen Ivy, Korean Spas, Thai, and San Gabriel Valley. Our go to type of massage is Acupressure though I would occasionally enjoy Thai massages or reflexology foot massages with my girlfriends. We were able to get the couples massage room so we can be in the same room. He had Steven and I had Grace. Like usual, we were given time to completely undress and lie down on our tummies with a towel draped over us prior to the service. Grace was exactly that-Graceful. Her small hands hit every acupuncture spot perfectly. My only complaint is that she was a bit on the weak side. I asked for her to be "hard". I am use to the torture of a crazy strong masseuse. However, Grace tactically massaged my whole body and spent more time on my tense muscles without having me explain what I needed. She knew what she was doing! We both agree these were the best massages we had and we gladly choose skill over strength. It was more expensive than what you can get in SGV in California but hey, they were really good at their craft. *Note to beginners: at some point, massage oil is used on your back and will eventually be removed with a hot towel. You usually get your head and temples massaged so warn them if you hate being touched on the head. Also, other places usually have you flip around to massage your arms, legs, chest and face. I wish they also massages the front though my back and behind are very happy. Rewards: like many Asian places, returning customers get a reward card if you ask.
