ZERO STARS!!! THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!!! I called a little over 3 weeks ago for service as a new customer and STILL do not have internet service!! Technical Support is a joke! One man "JEFFERSON" actually disconnected our ichat. Probably because he didn't have an answer for me!! I have already received a bill for service I DO NOT HAVE, talked to 3 people in customer service, 2 technicians, received 2 modems, and continually get the run-a-round! I even tried cancelling service today because I'm fed up and they were conveniently unable to do so because their computers were down...rrrrright!! I am paying for service up to 10. The technician said to expect 6. In actuality it is 0.03 to 2.50. Try streaming with that. Heck I can barely do email. Plus the price you are quoted isn't the bill. If you are quoted $35 expect to pay $43 and that is if you have your own router and are on auto pay. Just terrible and customer service is outsourced. read more

If you could give no stars, I definately would give them ZERO! How is it that living in a rural area in Ohio means you can't have not even great, but at least average internet speed. We are like living in dial up internet times out here. This garbage internet provider said we would have at least 16mb internet speed by January 2017.......NOPE still at 3mb's. Funny cause I do have friends overseas who get better internet speed in the middle of the desert and in third world countries, than we get here in Ohio. They said "once we update our hubs" the speed will increase. Yep that was a year and a half ago, no faster! Slower if anything. read more

We had this internet service installed on Thursday 5/28. We were charged $100 for a modem that we did not know about, we were also charged $200 for the installation that we were not expecting. Then we were told that the internet line would be buried 5-7 days after installation. To this day 18 days later it is still not buried. Because of the lack of customer service, the fact they can't seem to employe English speaking associates and the tendency is to always transfer you or place the blame on another department, I would not suggest utilizing this service. read more

If I could give no stars or a half of one I would. This internet company is TERRIBLE. They have a monopoly where I live so I'm forced to use them, unfortunately. I called to have them put in service and the lady couldn't even get that right. They called us twice while we were on vacation stating they were at our home.... you'd think that they would check with the customer before they just make an appointment to make sure it's okay, nope! So we rescheduled and they finally showed up after several missed appointments. We had taken off several days of work for them and they finally showed up. After they "installed" everything the tech didn't even tell us he was done and just left. 45 minutes later and our service didn't work, internet or phone. Called them about it and said it would be fixed within an hour and it wasn't... called and spoke to many people to get another appointment to get it fixed and they never showed so we spent several days waiting around the house for no reason. We decided to cancel due to the terrible service but are left in a pickle bc they are the ONLY company out here... we decided to give them another shot after someone called Asking why we cancelled. We made an appointment and guess what, they never showed after waiting all day again!! Of course they sent us a bill for the service that we haven't even used. Don't go with them. We had no internet since Nov 21. On Nov 27 they said it would be three more days. My wife called and cancelled on Nov 27 and what do you know... a few hours after cancellation the internet is back up. Yet another scam by a company controlling your internet usage. This internet provider is garbage. Rednecks cut my phone line on accident and did not take the initiative to fix it. Ive called their customer service at century link serveral times and nothing has happened. Theyve dropped my phone calls and dropped my chats. Why is this company so hard to reach? Even when the internet does work, it goes out often. It is sad that in the Galena, ohio, area, they have a monopoly on thr phone and internet business. So all must go to them and eat their poor service out of their oraphis becaus there is no one else to go to. There is not easily accesable location. Their phone operaters seem to have a below average iq. Anyways, i am sitting at a local bob evans where i can get a signal. read more

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS INTERNET SERVICE!!!! I have had nothing but bad customer service and shady internet service since I joined this provider in August 2012. Where I live, north of Wooster we only have a few internet options which it seems this provider takes advantage of small, rural areas that don't have access to many internet options. They came to install the internet and gave us no set up instructions, just thrust a box with a modem at me. I tried to figure out how to start up the service and connect, but had some trouble. I called the technical support set up number for help and reached an agent who was a real jerk, insulted me and didn't help. I figured it out on my own, but the service signal would go in and out daily. I called the technical support and he did something remotely that seemed to fix the problem for about 10 days. I called again and the technician was sent out to repair the line. As expected the service was fine for about 3 weeks and then started to go out again. I called for another service appointment. The technician never showed in the 8-12pm window I was given. I called the technical support and they said "He will be there in about 30 minutes". Never showed and then I was promised he would be there the next day first thing. He showed around 1:30 the next day and was very rude and attempted to swith the modems, but couldn't get any to work..he eventually replaced my modem with the same model I had, just a newer one. As usual, the service worked for a few weeks then started to drop again. I use the internet to work remotely from home, so it is important I have a stable connection.. With this service..I would get dropped off the internet in the middle of conference calls and meeting with clients. I called tech support AGAIN and they offered a remote fix to the modem that worked for yes...about 2 weeks and then the connection dropped AGAIN!! Understand when I say the connection dropped I mean connection would go off and on on my modem...lights going off and on and blinking constantly. I called to cancel my account and the customer service technician let me out of the contract, and admitted they were wrong for not addressing or fixing the problem over this period of 3 months. I had decided on another Cable DSL internet provider, which all of my neighbors use without any problems apparently... Century Link called and stated that the problem was outside on the line and that on the last visit, the tech made a note of how the outside line needed repair (BUT OF COURSE DIDNT FIX IT OR ATTEMPT TO). They offered to credit my account and come out and repair the line. Of course by this time, I have my other cable provider in place and ready to come out and install. BUT crazy me...I told them I would give them this last chance to repair and get my service going properly...and crediting my account was a factor as well. SO, I set up an appointment with 8-12pm window....no one showed all day....and now here I am on day 2 waiting for a tech to come repair "by the end of the day". THIS IS REALLY MY LAST CHANCE WITH THIS PROVIDER...If the line is not repaired this time..I am going to a new provider. For real this time. I admit that I gave CenturyLink too many chances because I didnt feel like going through all the aggrevation of a new installation and service..but look at all the aggravation and time wasted hoping they will repair it and give me stable internet service.
