What a nightmare! Century roofing replaced our roof after hurricane Milton, and destroyed our home due to their poor workmanship and complete lack of accountability to repair properly. Our roof was "completed" on January 4, 2025 and immediately started collecting pools of water under the roofing material. We contracted for a modified bitumen flat roof replacement with a hard 3/8" silicone protective coating. That style roof is tightly bonded to the underlying hard material. What they installed, without our knowledge nor consent, was a loose plastic sheeting that was poorly attached at the edges with a thin 3/4" flashing and sealed with acrylic caulking. none of that would have passed a building inspection. Did I mention that they never pulled a permit, as required by law? Well the acrylic caulking melted away on the first warm day (which is almost any day in Florida). Water constantly built up under the cheap plastic roofing material and we could feel waves whenever we walked on it. The expensive silicone coating that was to harden more than concrete within six months, never bonded and crumbled like sand to the touch. Our home interior became unusable for months due to ceiling collapse, water damage and mold. it smelled horrible for months. We reported the problem immediately, and often until October, when we realized that they would never repair it. They had sent people to randomly caulk areas to "fix" the leak, even though it was apparent that the entire seal was faulty and that the materials under the cheap plastic were full of water and mold. One time, the home office sent a crew to replace one piece of underpayment, which they did while completely ignoring that all of the surrounding wood and materials b egg low the plastic were very wet and moldy. The owner himself even came out and declared the roof to be dry and properly installed. we have videos from before and after his visit showing puddles of water below the cheap plastic material. We never once went onto our roof from January until October without feeling those puddles under our feet. Iur flat roof is actually our terrace that we use regular. it was clear that their repairs were never going to fix the problem and our home would remain unusable until we hired someone to replace their work in the flat roof. Both areas of flat roof needed to be completely removed and started from scratch. So we had to pay another roofer to do that. A few days after the owner of Century declared the roof good, the new roofer pulled it up and found 80% of the wood was rotten due to water damage and mold. None of the industry standard methods of sealing the roof had been performed. Just short cut after short cut. We also had to pay another contractor to remediate the water damage and mold throughout the interior of the house that all came from the century roofing installation. We had just redone the interior earlier in the year after hurricane Milton, so everything was good before the horrible roof from century destroyed it. I wish that I could say something positive about Century Roofing, but I had to pay to replace my roof twice plus several thousand dollars more to remediate the damage caused by their poor workmanship and defective construction. read more

This company left their trash all over our lawn (front and back yard) for 3 days while they worked on our neighbor's house. Blasted their music loud enough for us to hear thru our double paned windows in our bedroom from 9 am until 6 pm. Project is finally complete and I am picking up large pieces of metal sheets, scraps of blue plastic and tape I found in my yard the next morning! Century Roofing ripped us off for $5000, never fixing the leaks on our commercial roof and then refusing to refund anything! The owner (Sergey) was also extremely rude and belligerent to me and even after 18 months, they still refuse to refund us a dime. DO NOT BELIEVE the positive reviews. I learned too late they pay people referral dollars to recommend them and their salesperson contacts customers, then only the ones that had a good experience will he try to get them to post a review. These guys will stall forever to keep your money and are incompetent from my experience. They came out literally 10 times over a year (or at least claimed to) to "fix" the leaks, but the rain kept leaking in! After water damages continued to escalate, we were forced to hire another company who fixed the issue the first time they were here for far less money. I signed m proposal on 12/27/17. I decided to call on 1/4/18 to see if they received it and if we could set up a time for them to come out because I wanted someone to be there while the workers did the job. The girl I spoke with was newer which is fine I'm very understanding. She said they might have an opening the next day and would check and call me back to schedule. They didn't call me back that day so I figured I'd hear from them within the next few days. This morning (1/5) I received a call at 830 saying they were on the way. LUCKILY my fiancé was on vacation so I said that's fine go ahead and fix it. Well they started setting up before he even had the chance to move any cars which could have been in the way of falling debris so he had to have them move all of their stuff in order to move the cars. They fixed one spot but said they didn't have to fix the other spot because it seemed okay (the quote has 2 areas to be fixed / checked). So after multiple back and forth calls to the office (because the workers spoke mainly Spanish) I wanted to make sure everything would check out good, a little lip from the girl to my fiancé, finally they started working on the second spot. Now I'm giving two stars because yeah they came out quick and fixed it but I wasn't nearly prepared for them, my fiancé did get a bit of attitude (he understands Spanish so he did know what they were saying but he isn't the best at speaking it) from the workers and the girl on the phone and the one thing that I'm really bummed and disappointed on is the colour shingle they picked to "match" ... just look at the photo. I'm really bummed because now I have to basically save up and get the whole front redone just so it looks good. One of their estimators came out to price a job for me. I gave him a deposit in the form of a check, which he accidentally lost. He was very apologetic about the whole incident, and I felt like it was an honest mistake. I called the office and explained everything, and I was instructed to put a stop payment on the check. I paid the outstanding invoice as soon as I received it. Laura Sanchez called me from their "Collections department" and was incredibly rude. Apparently the lost check was found and their company attempted to deposit it. Instead of trying to figure out what happened, she was rude and demeaning. I am very upset and disappointed. I waited three weeks to have someone come out and look at my roof, I was upfront saying I was a renter and my landlord asked me to get quotes for repair. I am so disappointed in the entire process from start to finish. Called them, because they had good reviews. It took them almost two weeks to get over to do an estimate. That should've been a red flag, but he came over did the estimate, then it was another 4 days or so before we got the proposal. Price looked good, so we agreed to proceed. On July 4, the tree branch fell on the roof. I called the insurance company and some other company came and did terrible job. Napkins from wherever they ate were dropped and left on the front yard. Rusty nails that were attached to some rusty squares were left all over the front and back yard. A visitor shoe and foot were pierced by one of the rusty nails. It's a good thing the person had a tetanus shot! Blue circular plastic items were strewn all over the front yard. Even a cigarette butt was in the yard! One of the workers threw papers all along the alleyway and had intentions of leaving them there! Someone confronted him and he said a stereotyping remark afterwards that was heard! They plopped their grimy cooler in the yard that contained bottled water. They could have had a nearby vehicle to hold it and ask one of their workers to hand it to them if they were thirsty. read more

Found a stain forming near one of my skylights... turns out the skylight curb and flashing was starting to deteriorate...I had another company come out and give me a quote along with Century. Century responded quickly...unlike the Golden company that didn't respond nearly as quickly...and didn't respond to questions I had regarding their quote. Sergio and his crew saved me again. This time I needed the entire roof replaced after tropical storm debbie. Century gave me an estimate within 24 hours, made a second trip to the house to double-check the replacement shingles were exactly the same, and got the job done as soon as the weather cleared. The wild card is always how much rotten decking a roofer finds. Century called to let me know so that I was surprised. It was only six more sheets, so it's not like they're making up their great price with add-on work either. It only took them two days and their clean-up was spotless. Besides a quality job, the price was way lower than what I had been quoted by two other roofers. In one case century was almost doing the work before the other guys even got around to giving me an estimate in writing (rain delayed the roof job a few days).
