Daiquan from Sunny Roofing in Orlando came to our home in early 2025 to see about replacing our roof damaged by Hurricane Milton. Daiquan was very professional and also caring - my brother is an amputee in a wheelchair, and I am a retired social worker on a walker after nine spinal surgeries. In fact, I was in the hospital for thoracic surgery when Daiquan called me to choose the color of the shingles; he wanted to get the project started as soon as possible. The work started the day after I came home from the hospital; but I had to take an ambulance back to the ER, having contracted a virus from a sick patient at the hospital. I have never been so ill in my life, and I had 36 staples in my thoracic spine. Daiquan stopped by frequently during and after the roofing project was completed. One evening he even went to the drugstore to buy Tylenol for me. Daiquan and all the roofers were nice, thoughtful, efficient. I did try to offer the workers drinks and snacks. I appreciated their work and Daiquan's oversight of the project. Since then, we have secured solar panels. The solar engineer who inspected the roof was very complimentary about the quality of the roofing job. So I wanted to give Daiquan and Sunny Roofing a good review! The kind of service provided by Daiquan is rare and was much appreciated! We are confident in the roofing job. Oh, I did want to comment on some of the issues I've seen on other reviews of Sunny Roofing, mostly issues involving payment. We had the public adjuster and the adjuster from our insurance company. We fully understood that we had to sign the checks from the home owners' insurance company and send them to the adjuster to sign, as well. Some people seemed to blame the roofing company, but this is the process with insurance coverage. The process was relatively smooth for us, no problems with payment. Fema came and covered the exposed areas and my Citizens Insurance Company rep came quickly to assess the damage and paid me the appropriate repair amount by check. I next looked for a roofing company I could trust. I was feeling nervous about making the right choice as I am an elderly widow who knew nothing about roof repair. It seemed like serendipity when two young rep's of Sunny Roofing Restoration, came by my neighborhood to offer me a free inspection and informed me of their company's excellent standards. i could tell they believed in Sunny Roofing Co., but I was extremely guarded. I asked for more information, and I was given phone number of their vice president, George Greer. I text Mr. Greer and explained my apprehension. A few days later a Sunny Roofing truck pulled up and a smiling young man with the cutest puppy got out and introduced himself as George Greer. He said he was the Vice President of Sunny Roofing . Mr. Greer ( call me George) inspected my roof. He gave me a company brochure and explained the materials that would be used and the repair process. We went over the color that would best match my house. I checked out Sunny Roofing's reviews. They were all excellent. I called George to go ahead with my roof repair. The roofers came. They were pleasant, worked very hard and were respectful of my property. My roof is completed now and I am so happy with the result! The color matches the house perfect! My home was damaged from a wind event, and I had a leak in my garage. My roof was also over 20 years old and had a considerable amount of damage to the wood underneath. Because of the amount of damage the job took an extra day. They helped me through the whole process. I knew nothing about the products that went into replacing the roof, and they talked me through the different products so I could make the best choices of what products I wanted used.
