I had used another space, but my conference calls were a distraction for other people; Paradigm offers lots of little nooks and crannies to hide away in, and sound is muffled. The management is AMAZING! The owner is on-site everyday, and she is really trying to build a community, not just a library. Coffee is on-site, as well as snacks and sodas; it's a great way to feel connected to other office workers, while maintaining the independence of remote work. Only two downsides, and both of them are consequences of location; it's great to have a space like this well outside the city of Atlanta, but Internet accessibility is limited. Speeds are good, but not great. Additionally, the building itself is about 2 miles from the Interstate, so traffic can sometimes be an issue. Overall though, I'm VERY satisfied with Paradigm.

I was shown offices, print room, shown the break room and told there was coffee and tea (no complimentary snacks which is a bummer since im used to wework/techpark spaces). They also had a bit outdated desks but told me i could order my own desk from the catalog and it was part of the plan (covered). My partner and I asked over 3 times if standing desks were covered and were assured we could order those. SO then came the signing day: 1. AFTER being charged a 2 month advance and activation fee which were not in the initial online contract, we were then beholden to a ton of fees that you dont see in "coworking" places. 2. Tea and Coffee is 35/person/month 3. Printers are .50/page for black and white 1.00 for color 4. Oh yeah, those desks we said were included are now $400.00 per person and we keep the desk when your gone (we literally chose them with our rep and she assured us the same day that they were covered) This is just my day of signing and shocked me so much that I just asked to cancel this contract and get out of it. My contract started the next month and someone called me (dont want to throw out names just yet) and told me there was no way to cancel and that if I tried to fight it with my bank it wouldnt go well. (what kind of CS is that?). Still I turned in my keys and had an affidavit written up to give to my bank explaining i've never used this service and they do not have the right to charge me. Of course they are still trying and sending threats so I had to hire an attorney to get me out of this nightmare. My best advice - go with WeWork, Atlanta Tech Park or someone who gives you one charge to include everything and not try to nickle and dime you to death and use gangster tactics to lock you into a never-ending loop. I am back with Atlanta Tech Park - worth the 1 hour drive to be treated better.
