I freaking LOVE this brewery. Independent, local and making some amazing beers! So proud and happy for the team at Ceremony that they expanded recently as well! Let me preface this by saying I never actually made it inside Ceremony Brewing. I got to the address and looked for parking. An employee came out and was upset that my car was in their construction area. I guess a sign or something was too much to hope for. I asked how to get into the establishment and was told "I'm not really sure". Apparently there's no way in without climbing over construction debris. The employee actually laughed at my mobility disability issue. It's just my opinion but if you're doing construction that makes it impossible for people to actually get in then don't be open and promoting events until you are ready. Came here for drinks and had a great experience. There is an extensive selection of beers ranging from IPAs to Smoked Sours. I had the double ipa and a blue raspberry sour and both were delicious. The staff was super friendly and Knowledgable. When I went, they did emo karaoke which was such a blast. The ambiance is great and it is a super family friendly place. This place was somewhat of a huge disappointment. It's just not properly run. First of all, to order anything from the bar, you have to wait in this ridiculous line with just one bartender handling the register. And if you get something out of the cooler, they add a three dollar corkage fee on per can or bottle. It's almost like you are being punished for drinking on the premises. The food portions were very much so lacking as well. I ordered a veggie wrap with tofu, and there was a total of two pieces of tofu in the entire wrap. Love the vibe and the variety of beers on tap. The sours are my favorite, but my husband is a big fan of the dipa and west coast ipa. It's nice that they have food trucks almost daily, but the parking situation could be better. SUPER tiny lot and fills up fast. This was our first and last visit to this establishment. They advertise that they offer up to 3 samples. I asked to try two, to help decide which beer I wanted. The bartender was rude and refused saying I could buy both. I understand it was busy, and was okay with not being able to try the two beers that I was interested in before deciding on my purchase. What my wife and I were not okay with was that my wife purchased an item out of their fridge and not only was she charged for the can (she didn't want alcohol), she was charged almost double as a "corking fee". The bartender added the extra amount without explaining why and clicked out of it quickly as if she didn't want us to notice the up charge. When asked why she added the extra charge she was very short about it. The beer was mediocre at best. read more

Been there a few times during the week and was a pretty cool place. But went in there yesterday (Saturday) and while they were busy, they weren't slammed. Sat at the bar quietly for 15 minutes with a $20 in my hand. Bartender wouldn't even acknowledge me. Walked right by me more than a dozen times. Just something as simple such as "we're real busy, I'll get to you" or something like that would have sufficed. Served everyone sitting by me, but couldn't get his attention. Maybe it's an Old 41 thing? Had something similar happen at HopSize a while back where the bartender spent 10+ minutes talking to the couple sitting beside me, but I couldn't get his attention either. No problem left and went to RipTide. Got served within 45 seconds and had a great time. read more

This brewery is super nice, clean, has good beers and great service. I saw this brewery online and the pictures were underwhelming but the beers looks good so we gave it a try. Glad we came in here bc the aesthetic blows the Google pictures out of the water. There's tons of space, it's decorated well, and the beers/service were fantastic. Really bad customer service!! Nobody is greeting you when you enter the place even when they only have a few customers!! Not friendly at all to new customers they only greet people they know!! Very creative beers and ales, with a wide variety. My favorites are the sour ales, either fruited sours, or a surprisingly fabulous one made with gingerbread. IPA's are good--they're all really good! They often have a food truck, usually with some interesting fusion approach. When they don't, try the Napoli on the Bay Pizza at 27975 Old 41 Road. Where do I start. Wow, the creative flavors here are unbelievable. I have traveled throughout the SE and hit all kinds of great, good and mediocre breweries. This place is clean, comfortable, modern and the beer doesn't disappoint. The people here are friendly, Terry, Madeline usually are the beertenders and do a great job matching you to the profiles you will enjoy. I have been here 3 times and have enjoyed every beer I have tried. That is saying something, I have been to great breweries before and haven't hit on every pour. I only wish this place was closer to me. I live 35 min. away...maybe that's a good thing. Ceremony is only a year old, can't wait to see it grow. It ranks right at the top of the Local Breweries here in SWFL. And in the top 10 in Florida. There are some good ones for sure, but this place is among the best IMO. read more
