We were a group of girls on a bachelorette trip. We had stopped here because we were starving after a shell experience. This was in the center of Marco Island. It had a lot of shops and a few other food places near it so you had plenty of options. The beers were good, 2 of us got the flight option. The food was good too, I was excited to be able to order Alfredo here bc I originally thought it would just be pub food. I will say in the beginning the service was a little slow, so I wasn't sure if it's just because they were busy or if they were shortstaffed, however, by the end, the waitress was very kind and was able to make up for it. I would visit again.
After a day of fishing, we visited the Marco Island Brewery. The brewery/restaurant features a spacious sports bar atmosphere. They have both indoor and outdoor dining options. The bar is a great size for enjoying drinks and cocktails. We brought our own Sheepshead Fish, and the chef cooked it for us. It was absolutely delicious. We ordered the chicken sandwich, potato tots, bruschetta, mozzarella sticks, and fish tacos. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely return.
I'd been here before on a previous trip to meet some friends for a beer, so when my friend and I were coming back from Marco Island Beach I suggested stopping here for dinner... it was ok... The ambience is a loud local bar with big TV screens to watch the game on. Inside and outside seating. The weather was nice and since we had were in wet clothes from the beach we thought we'd sit outside so as not to freeze. We chose a table, were readily handed menus and pondered the options. Our waitress was new so she couldn't really offer recommendations other than "other people have said it's pretty good" when asked about menu choices. We chose an elderberry beer and a mango cart and waited for our orders. I had the tenderloin beef tips since it seemed hearty. My friend opted for the Key West Grouper. My beef tips were ok. Something about the gravy made it seem as though it was from a can, the mashed potatoes had no real flavor, and the tips were very inconsistent in texture with some being tender and juicy and others being tough and chewy. Overall it wasn't something I would order again. My friend thought her grouper was ok. The Key lime beurre blanc sauce was interesting; slightly creamy with a tang. She said the grouper was cooked well, but felt it was lacking in the amount of crab and shrimp stuffing placed on it. She wasn't mad at it, just wished it had a bit more substance. She did enjoy the sweet potato fries. Service is friendly, and the atmosphere is great... go for that and a beer... the rest is just standard bar fare. I'd probably come back and just stick with some appetizers, where the expectations aren't as high as with dinner fare.
I went to Marco Island Brewery with family who were visiting, to get some drinks and watch the women's Iowa Hawkeye basketball game. The bartender was nice enough to change the channel on one of the tvs so we could watch the game. We got seats right up at the bar, right when we walked in. I liked that they had a pretty decent selection of craft beer on tap. We all ordered drinks. Great service throughout our visit. The bartenders were friendly and fun to talk to. It was very busy and loud inside and outside on their patio, but fun was still had by all. Overall, pretty good experience.
We came to Marco Island Brewery for a quick snack and some craft beers. Unfortunately we had a change of heart after we walked into the restaurant. Service: 2 out of 5 - Overall the service was ok. We were seated quickly and our waiter came quickly to get our orders. He was attentive, but kept disappearing to talk to people at the front of the entrance. Beer: 3 out of 5 - The beer was ok. They only had 4 house beers, but brought in a bunch of other craft beers from around the area. This felt less like a brewery and more like a bar. I had the four house beers. They were good, but aren't anything I'd say is a must try. Ambiance: 0 out of 5 - We should have known better when we came in and the restaurant was almost completely empty except for a few smokers outside. This place was disgusting. From the moment we walked in it smelled like a mixture of cigarettes and something sour and there were flies everywhere. There was an outdoor bar where people could still smoke, but the fans and breeze blew the smoke into the restaurant. We decided to only get drinks and skip eating. After we finished our drinks, my wife went to the bathroom where she found a condom wrapper in one of the stalls. Definitely recommend avoiding this place until they clean up.
We came here for my birthday lunch after spending a day at the beach! I'm here to tell you the good, the bad, and the ugly! I questioned why they had such average reviews before coming in but now I get it. Let's start with the good! The food and drinks were great: typical bar menu but more expansive and we loved all of our fried options. The loaded tots are MASSIVE and very filling. I feel like it should come with a warning: you will not be hungry for your meal if you order this. 5 adults couldn't even finish them, but they were so good! The beer flight was pretty decent. I used to work at a brewery so my standards are high but I liked all of the options we selected - mainly ales! The burger was okay and the Lettuce was wilted, the tomato soggy and the onion was fine. I really did like the onion ring and again, all of the fried options we got were great! I didn't get jalapeños because it looked really spicy from pictures, seeds and all. The bad: they asked the server if they did anything special for birthdays and he just said "not really but I could do a virgin daiquiri or something"... unfortunate they don't really go above and beyond! The place is open so there's flies swarming around, especially at meal time! The staff was half super nice and half lacked customer service. For example, a lot of them were collecting at the front talking super loudly and just on their phones (a frequent issue my old brewery had) but it was slightly unprofessional around guests. I can't say our server had the best service (was forgetful, unenthusiastic, and lacked the effort that goes into being a server), so that took away from the experience. A server (not ours) did bring my son a little rubber ducky which I thought was so sweet! Overall, if you want a craft beer and some decent fried bar food and don't care as much about your service, this is your place to go!

Underrated Place!! I did want a special craft beer but they ran out. However there's something to be said about that- if they turn over beer so often that means most kegs are super fresh! So give your self a good better best kind selection when ordering for a local beer menu! Food: My wife had an appetizer portion of boneless wings: looks to be white meat chicken that was pan fried till crispy not deep fried which she enjoyed the crispness off. She got there bbq sauce tasted like baby rays but didn't confirm. We split a large bar style pretzel! Super salty but in a good way. Then we made the discovery as I asked about a side of honey mustard! THEY MAKE THERE OWN HINEY MUSTARD WITH REAL Honey!!! Delicious! I had the Baja shrimp tacos! We're a good size definitely recommend! Nice hint of kick!! Our baby who was with us had Mac and cheese it was Kraft. But we were ok with that knowing exactly what is was. Totally underrated and hope people use this review to take a real look into the restaurant. Service was super nice! Very accommodating to family's. Which has its own challenges while being in Marco island. We will return! Good luck everyone!!! See you next year read more
Normally when a vacation takes me to a brewery, its a win, unfortunately not in the case of this one. We walked into a basically empty restaurant and we sat right down. We had a server and her trainee come over to take our drink orders. I got one of their house beers and the rest of the party got sodas/waters. After scanning the menu we had our orders in mind, but our servers were nowhere in sight. After about 10-15 minutes, they came back with the drinks and took our orders. We werent super hungry, so we ordered an app and a couple dishes. The large soft pretzel with cheese sauce, their cuban sandwich and some pasta for the kids. The food took another 20+ minutes to come out but lets run down the list. Lets start with the app, the pretzel. Came out and it was stale. It was luke warm, undersalted and the cheese sauce tasted like watered down cheese from a can. As a BIG fan of pretzels, this one was a big letdown. Entree wise, the pasta and the cuban, also let downs. The pasta was stiff. Not Al Dente, stiff as in undercooked and oversauced. The Cuban sandwich looked good coming out, but after ONE bite I knew it wasnt going to be good. I dont want to say the meat was bad or sour, but after three attempts, I was done and didnt want any more. There was another large gap in server visits to ask if we needed another beer or any refills so I made every effort to flag down our waitresses so we could get the check and get out of there. Needless to say, as far a brewery goes, I wouldnt go back to Marco Island brewery. read more

This place has really dropped off in both service and food quality. Check out the food of our most recent visit - wrong cheese on burgers, wrong sides and most disgusting very under cooked burgers. There too many good places to visit this place again read more

Was looking for a brewery while down on the island and this place wasnt coming up on any sites and I saw it on the map so I decided to go and check it out on my lunch break. This place is pretty awesome. Beers from everywhere, place was packed with older crowd but a lot of them so that keeps them busy. TVs on everywhere, inside seating, outside seating. Bar seating on the inside and outside. Lots of reasons to go and its easy to get to. It is located inside the Publix center so parking sucks and super narrow driving and tons of stop signs and weird drivers. A few house beers on tap but many many about 40 others on tap. Had a flight for lunch. Def would recommend for a game or a Sunday. read more

We were looking forward to spending time here tasting local beers but we walked in and it smelt nasty! I know pops from the beer has a strong smell but this was more of a pops smell mixed with locker room and fraternity house! We left without ever ordering...which wasn't hard to do considering no one ever greeted us or even asked if we wanted a drink or food read more

A chill place to grab either some local beer or some other rotating selections. The service was great - had no issues with our waiter. The snacks were average bar fare. Nachos were huge but nothing gourmet. The chicken sandwich was a patty. This is a place to go for beer and vibes and not the best food in the world. Would go again if in town read more

I came here for happy hour with a group of folks to enjoy some food and try a flight. They had a lot of options on their beer menu and good deals for their happy hour drinks. There are no food specials for happy hour. I'd recommend a flight, the 5oz pours are perfect to taste and try a bunch of options. The food was also good. The Mahi Mahi tacos were delicious and I ghighly recommend them. The burgers also looked good. Our server was very friendly and checked on us frequently. I recommend a stop in. read more
Thought I'd reviewed MIB before. Guess not. Second time here, the first was a few yrs ago. The first visit was uninspiring but we wanted to give it a another whirl. Glad we did. Listen, first piece of advice..don't order the Marco Island Brewing beers. They're plain and somewhat pathetic. They have an ample guest beer menu that includes formidable FL favs. If here for the beer, go that route. Food is good here. I had the Mahi Hawaii which was pricy but well worth every penny. One note of interest, on the back left wall they have two framed jerseys; Urlacher for the dreadful bears and Roethlisberger for the Six Time Superbowl Champion Steelers. Take Big Ben down, insert a Bettis jersey instead, and add the picture of Bus trucking sorry Snotlacher during a game in between the two jerseys. Or just get rid of the sad snotlacher jersey altogether. Go Steelers. Cheers. read more

I really enjoyed our dinner here. Staff was great and we even got to chat with the owner a bit. We loved the tv channel they had on and he noticed and told us about it. Just a feel good station we so enjoyed watching during our meal. Just feel good snippet videos. But enough of that we came for dinner. We all enjoyed our meals and the Jersey fries that we shared were great. I had the tuna poke and it was a large size portion and tasty. Fried Shrimp, coconut shrimp, and veggie pizza were all yummy. We will definitely be back. read more

Fun place to have a flight, indoor and outdoor seating, since we were drinking we decided on a Supreme thin crust pizza, it was a great move since we ordered a 2nd flight. Bartenders were helpful with suggestions. Great place to watch a game plenty of TVs. read more

Sometimes when you're on vacation it doesn't need to be fancy and all you want is a burger and some beer. Well, the Marco Island Brewery was what we needed. We had simply hung out at the beach all day and decided to stop here. We were here years before (it changed names and ownership), but the place is very similar. Instead of single beers Wifey and I both got flights - Wifey had Kona Big Wave, Islamorada Ale, Florida Beer Co Key West Sunset Ale, and Palm City Brewing Hazify. I got Shiner Holiday Cheer, Stella Artois Midnight Lager, Southern Tier Warlock and the Southern tier Chocolate milkshake. If you look at the pics you can see there's CLEARLY a difference in our beer tastes. I didn't LOVE my bets, but the Southern Tier Chocolate Milkshake should be paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a beer float. Our meals were pretty basic- Wifey got the regular cheeseburger with onion rings and I got a patty melt with tater tots and a side salad. Burgers were pretty good-I wouldn't say amazing, but good. Tots and onion rings were fantastic. We even had room for a slice of coconut cream pie...which was REALLY good. Honestly, I'd come back here. Great place, good service, pretty good burgers, good beer selection. It's worth a trip. read more

Ambiance: Loved that this place was ready to seat us. Sports bar vibe meets bring your family since there's a lot of seating outside and inside with options of booths and high tops. There wasn't ample parking. Service: wonderful and attentive staff. Drink: large beer selection but mixed drinks were subpar twice. Extremely watered down mixed drinks so I'd go here for beer only. Food: ok! Sandwiches for lunch were good. Our burgers were ordered medium rare both came well done. I'd just ask for rare moving forward to not have something over cooked. The ahi tuna tacos were not bad. And the pizza oddly enough were my favorite part. Come for the beer and pizza! Loved the meat lovers read more
