First time having food here. We had a reservation and were seated immediately at a high top which didn't agree with mother in law. We were quickly seated at a regular table at her request. Waitress was great. She brought us all waters and brought son's girlfriend a few beer samples. I went with the Raspberry Reef -- very tasty. I couldn't believe how quickly our food came out! Salad and a ginormous, delicious pretzel appetizer came out immediately. Entrees followed right behind. Food was better than expected. My grouper was cooked perfectly though the citrus marinade was a little overpowering. Son enjoyed his burger. A few in our party ordered the pulled pork which was quite tasty. We went specifically to see a local band, out in the patio was lovely. The beer they brew is decent and there's a lot of variety. They also have other beers available, which not all breweries do. Five stars for having a thc drink available. Where this place falls short is the food, we had the nachos. The chips were stale and the nachos were cold. Wife ordered her Alehouse Smash Burger and I went for the Grouper Goddess. A nice piece of grouper pan seared with sage Beurre Blanc and veggie risotto. The sage Beurre Blanc has a buttery, slight tangy taste with a balance of richness from the butter and acidity from the white wine. One of my favorite ways of making grouper! Wife said, the burger is fine as well, burger grilled to her preference with bacon, cheese and sautéed onion! As we leave, the parking lot is starting to fill up. Service was horrible. Went on a Thursday and sat outside. Had to flag down our server because she ignored you if you said her name. Ordered a drink and after two follow up requests and 45 minutes they come back to tell me they are out of the liquor I requested. So I ordered wine. 15 minutes later a glass comes. So I immediately order a refill. Over the next 1/2 hour 3 more glasses arrive. Go figure. Our pizza had to be returned because it was 1/2 cooked. Food took an hour. The reason was the bar and kitchen were backed up. That's a management problem. When people left tables would sit empty and unclean for 30-45 minutes. Birds would land and pick at the scraps. So place is huge and has multiple entrances. Someone came over as we walked in. They sat us and brought menus. There were a few large parties they were setting up for outside so they seemed preoccupied. Our server came over I think it was lex I ordered a cocktail. Cocktail and water took a while considering they had multiple people behind bar seemed too long. My cocktail sounded good but was not balanced and was mostly grapefruit juice and gin. I ordered the sizzle dining menu and my bf got the pork belly burnt ends to start and the cheesesteak. My sizzle app of tater tots came out first. When she brought it she said the pork belly takes a while. Not sure why as it would have been smoked prior but maybe to heat. The tots were ok not cheesy enough but sorta school Lunchish. The pork belly was tasty the run and sauce good but the product was tough to chew and a small portion for the cost. We waited sometime for entrees I got the hello dumplin and it was fresh the sauce was tasty and the gnocchi with it were soft. This was the best thing we had. My bf cheesesteak came out and ummm. Not what we thought. The sandwich which in most places is on a un roll or hogie came on a roll that was almost miniture. I should have put my hand next to it but it was a fraction of the size it should be and it was $17. ?? The sweet potato fries were hot and good. My bf ate some of mine and agreed it was best thing we had. My sizzle menu came with creme brûlée. We waited and waited and waited she apologized to us cause kitchen was behind. They did the giant party Instead of firing my dessert. It was a decent creme brûlée. She also brought a key lime pie out we told her we didn't order and she said keep it. We tasted it and then seem to have put some green gel on it for deco you would think it was lime but it was like sour apple and not good. We agreed we will probs not go back. I went in for lunch the other day and have to say their special, brisket tacos, were delicious. A totally different take on tacos with the combination of proper brisket (actually one of the best briskets I've eaten and I'm an East Coast girl), and a tomato/onion/herb dressed topping were quite surprising and refreshing. What REALLY topped it for me were the CORN tortillas! These weren't roll-them-up-tacos because of the soft and absorbent tortillas and I actually preferred that. The salsa and avocado sides were delicious. The grated parm wasn't really necessary. I usually eat at the bar because the staff is always friendly. Jose in particular is very attentive and on top of things. I went in thinking of a salad but when he described the special I was hooked. He makes proper cocktails as well. He always checks on you and is great to chat with. While I didn't have a brew this visit, their seasonals are good and guess they listened because there's a dark beer available all the time now. Hope it continues into the summer. I think they recently changed management (would like to know more about this) and they're trying new menus and dishes. Some have missed the mark but this brisket, delicious. I highly recommend Bone Hook. I've been in Naples for 9 months and the service is awful everywhere I've been. My bartender was amazing. Sorry, don't know her name, but long black hair :) I had the soft shell crab tempura and it was delish! The mayo is a nice touch and it comes over mixed greens and cherry tomatoes. We decided to make a day trip to the Naples area and hit some breweries. Bone Hook was the first place we stopped because we were also hungry. We decided to sit at the bar and were greeted right away and the bartender let us try a few beers to see what we liked. I ended up getting the Cherry Bomb cider because I wasn't quite feeling beer yet. It was crisp and refreshing and not too sweet. We started with the Philly Cheese Egg rolls and they came out quickly and hot! I had to wait a few minutes to try them. They were really good and were perfect to share between the two of us. We split a fried Grouper Sandwich with onion rings and it was really good as well. We were here right when they opened on a Tuesday so it was really quiet. We were Naples on a Saturday evening looking for a place to meet up with a friend who is a craft beer enthusiast. We ended up at Bone Hook Brewing, a convenient location for our group to meet up. The brewery looked comfortable and inviting when we walked in. There was a large room with tables, high tops, and seats at the bar. The brewery still had their holiday decorations up and a live band was playing. Bone Hook boasts a diverse and innovative selection of craft beers that cater to a range of palates. Whether you're a hophead seeking a bold IPA, a fan of rich stouts, or someone looking for a refreshing ale, Bone Hook has you covered. Each beer showcases a balance of flavors and a distinct character. I tend to lean towards the lighter, fruity flavors and they even had beer for me. Unfortunately the service was not as great as the beer. The young lady taking our order was less than enthusiastic about accepting the Yelp check in offer of a free draft beer. She insisted the manager would have to come over but they never showed up the entire time we were there. Not to address the check in offer or just to see how we were doing. I never got a straight answer about whether they would accept it but when the bill came, one of the beers, a $7 draft was removed from the bill. I wanted to get a flight which is any four beers of your choice but this was my first time here and I wasn't familiar with the beers so I asked for a flight with four of their most popular beers. I was met with okay what do you want. I don't know if she was just trying to be difficult or she really had no idea what their best sellers are. In any case she killed the friendly vibe. I was hoping to get someone enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the beer. Instead our server seemed like she would rather be anywhere else than serving us. Eventually we were presented with a $14 flight of Motorboat, Winter Solstice, Island Breeze, and Grateful. Winter Solstice was the favorite. I also had a Cherry Bomb which had a sour tang. We had eaten dinner before we came but Bone Head also offers a menu of snacks, small bites, and entrees to complement the beers. You can choose from starters, soup and salads, flatbreads, hand helds, entrees, kid meals, desserts, and sides. I was actually pretty impressed with the food side of the menu which is more comprehensive than a lot of other breweries I have visited. Whether you're in the mood for traditional pub fare or something a bit more unique they offer a wide variety of food that will appeal to everyone. Overall, while I enjoyed the beer and atmosphere the service was from friendly. It was the birthday of someone in our party and I was the one who picked this place so I was really disappointed when others commented on the uncomfortable service. You best believe I cashed in on this offer! We ordered the Firecracker Shrimp. Bruh, it was delicious! Juicy shrimp deep fried, spicy sauce drizzled... perfection. My mom ordered the Ribs. I'm not typically a ribs person, mostly because it's messy. But wow! They were beyond flavorful, they fell off the bone! They had a sweet almost apple saucy sweetness and BBQ Tangy flavor.
