We came to BPC 2 years ago because 2 of our 3 children have special needs, one with very little verbal skills. We wanted to explore every angle to help them. It was so incredibly fascinating to learn about how our brainwaves ​affect how we operate in our daily lives. When you make your initial appointment you are sent a video to learn about the names of the brainwaves and their functions. I found this so helpful and informative. My children can be hyperactive and all the staff have always been so kind, welcoming and patient with them. I have never doubted the benefit of neurofeedback, and yet I am still so blown away by the transformation of my children's behaviors. Whenever anyone would ask me how its changed, I would say that it allows me to be a more calm, patient parent. They still get upset, but for not as long or as often. I can communicate with them because we all arent disregulated and overstimulated. Our whole household is less volatile. ​​It also opened up my son's language abilities, which I will always be forever grateful for. And after just one session I saw immediate results in being mindful about my subconscious. I learned to enjoy and live in the moment. I also learned to love myself!  He helped me explore so much of my subconscious mind that was holding me back and triggering anxiety and stress.   I now know what to do when that part of my negative mind tries to cause me fear.  And I know it's not real.  Dean works with athletes, celebrities & entrepreneurs and with A type personality bankers like myself.  I even recommended him to a personal friend who has been trying to quit drinking. He helped her immensely as just as he helped me.  I actually became healthier and gave up alcohol as a personal choice, lost 35lbs, became top in my company in two financial categories, completed a 5k, a 10k and most recently a sprint Triathlon. I was lucky enough to be able to sit in on a couple sessions with Dean and my friends who I took to him.  He works miracles and in only about an hour or so. Arjun Reyes M.D. has been incredibly hospitable with me, I love coming into his office every time I book an in-person appointment! I have been seeing Arjun Reyes on a monthly basis for these past 5-6 years and he has been nothing but incredibly patient and caring with me! I have been seeing one of his associates Vanessa also, and she is just as patient and caring with me as Dr. Reyes is! Because of both of my caring Doctors here I have been able to finish school with four associates degrees and am aiming to finish my Bachelor's in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting from California State University, Sacramento! I…read moresought treatment due to the overall grief of losing my dad and the depression during this pandemic. Also I had anxiety because I was not able to what I needed to do like work and take care of family. I was already on meds and was recommended this treatment by my PCP. About 4 weeks in I started feeling better. I wasn't crying everyday and just felt lighter. The problem that didn't get addressed was lack of motivation. I didn't do much of anything but go to treatment and lay in bed. I did other things but with great effort like cooking once in a while. I need to work so I felt shame for not putting in a lot of hours while working at home. The anxiety lightened a little the came back. By the end of the 6th week (the last week) I was not as good then the following week back to depression and tears daily and often. I asked Dr. Debnath to reach out to my psychiatrist but somehow it's been 2 weeks and still they haven't connected. I gave 3 stars for wonderful caring people but not 5 because I'm not better now then when I started. I would recommend that so cal Tms try bringing in a counselor once or twice a week to work on the actual issues causing the drop in brain chemicals. They could probably bill for it but if not they do get paid well enough to afford this and it could have better patient a outcomes. For example teach people how to self sooth through breathing, meditation and just self reflection. CBT could be used to enhance outcomes. Also tell me what I should do after treatment ends like join grief group, exercise, meditate. Teach me to help myself along with TMS. Dr Debnath says I could still see results in next 2 weeks. If anything changes I will update this post.
