If you're looking for a Pulmonologist, I'd recommend Dr Mehdian. He doesn't skimp on ordering tests to get to the bottom of what's wrong with you. Even the phlebotomist mentioned that Dr M usually orders many blood tests. I'm glad he did. He was able to diagnose why I have a condition and will now be able to help treat it. Not a great experience. Staff is RUDE and does NOT give proper details and information! They never answer the phone, goes to voice mail. Dr. Mehdian is a lovely man. Very caring and considerate. I would love to have continued my treatment with Dr. Mehdian but his staff are AWFUL! The incompetence with their billing is the worst I have ever been through. Apparently when you pay via credit card, they "can't find it". They say: "We don't see a payment and IT'S LATE!" I said: Yeh, no - it's not. I paid by credit card... Them: "we don't see it... uhhhhh where did you send it..." Me: "I filled it in and sent inside the envelope provided by you" Them: "oh uhhhhh, ummm sometimes it doesn't go there.." Me:" So why are we providing the envelope with the incorrect address then...?" Them:"uhhhhh.... uhhhhh" Me:"...so the credit card statement shows a charge by Ramin Mehdian so..." Them:"uhhhh, can you send us a copy of your credit card statement" I actually had to do that. Can you believe it? The billing office blames the staff at the office and the office staff blames the billing office. 3 months, half a dozen phone calls, several emails and guess what - just got a PAST DUE on the same bill. Dr Mehdian is the only physician that is ever allowed to take care of myself or any of my loved ones, I want to emphasize this even more so-ESPECIALLY if we happen to be hospitalized. I'd rather deal with billing issues (which has not been my experience at all, zero issues with that) than be dead. So, pick your poison, I guess. Also, if he has a single flaw-it's that he cares TOO much. Anyone stating otherwise is probably an insufferable human with delusions of grandeur. read more

He is very caring, kind, pays attention to what my concerns are, plans the treatment according what is need to be done, and he has such a gentle soul. Don't call if you're ill and need to see a doctor. I was told they are booked for the next two months. When I explained that my daughter is struggling to breathe, the girl who answered the phone said " I understand but we have an appointment in two months." Thanks anyway. Dr. Mehdian is very professional, with a calm demeanor. Seems to be a carrying doctor. However, he referred me to Advance Sleep Medicine due to a sleep disorder and for testing. Honestly, I cannot believe he would recommend such an incompetent, bumbling, unprofessional company to affiliate himself with. They don't answer their phones, do not reply to email, and the technician I was scheduled to meet with was completely unprepared at the scheduled time. Very unprofessional. Absolutely the rudest most unprofessional prejudice staff i have encountered at the doctors office in recent history. They made an appointment for me 4 weeks after the time I called and when I took off of work and showed up exactly on time they told me that they won't see me, "because 10 years ago the doctor was upset how I spoke to him". I felt like I was in preschool. Dr Mehdian is obviously prejudice and so is his staff. I would never recommend this doctor or his office staff to anybody. just now The office staff is AWFUL and MEAN to the patients. My husband's appointment was scheduled three weeks out. We waited all that time only to receive a voice mail the day before the appointment asking us to call back by 3 pm otherwise it would be cancelled. I called back immediately to confirm the appointment. The receptionist put me on on hold for a few minutes and came back with "That's not until tomorrow!" and hung up on me. Not sure if it meant the appointment was confirmed or not, I called back and ended up with a gal named "Mona". When I was half way through explaining to her how the receptionist treated me, Mona started laughing. I asked her what was so funny. Mona responded with "How can I help you?" I explained to her again what happened and she just brushed it off: "Oh, it was probably just both lines ringing at the same time.". It was only under my insistence for an apology that Mona begrudgingly said "I'm sorry, but if you are unhappy with our office, I will be more than happy to cancel your appointment.". I told Mona that if we're unhappy with the staff, we would bring it up to the doctor. The appointment was confirmed, only to be cancelled 35 seconds later with a call from Mona that the doctor doesn't want to see my husband. It was unbelievable have little doubt that the doctor had no idea how his staff treated his patients and just went off with the story presented by an extremely unprofessional and sinister Office Manager. I would not recommend this office to anyone. There are plenty of other doctors offices who know how to deal with clients in a professionalism and respect. read more
