It was quick, to the point, professional, and the result was pretty much what I asked for. Nothing more nothing less. No offer of hair product at the end, just a plain n simple dry cut. Price is cheap, so I am satisfied. Don't let the 3 stars deter you. It's only to say there are fancier places out there, I got what I wanted and I'm satisfied, but this isn't exactly a pretty place, is all. I will cut here again if I'm in the area.

I also do not like spending an arm and a leg for a haircut so I thought their prices were very reasonable. My stylist was Peter Woo. And I thought he did a fantastic job. I wanted a drastic change so he chopped off about a foot of my hair and gave me a bob which was a bit longer in the front. I've had tons of positive comments and I just love how light my hair feels. He thinned it out quite a bit. I have so much hair lol. Very happy and planning to come back here in the future. I only paid under $50 which included wash, cut, style, and tip!

Backstory: I've gone to 2-3 hair salons in the recent couple of months in search of a new go to for managing my thick, wavy, heavy... sometimes curly hair. Each time, I was not happy within a week of walking out of the salon. Within a couple of weeks of the last salon experience, I was searching Yelp for another salon to try when I came across Hair Zzaplon's reviews, website, etc. I was intrigued by Kim's philosophy and I-come-to-you concept. So what they hey, lets try this thing. The Kim experience started a couple of days before our appointment. Via text and email we discussed the various pros and cons of the different hairstyles I was tempted to attempt. In the end, by the time of our appointment - I was 100% sure what I wanted to do. In that time, Kim was a fantastic resource telling me what she recommended based on a photo I sent to her as well as giving me all the options and not being pushy or opinionated when I wavered. She is incredibly knowledgeable on hair color as well and can recommend paths to maintenance! So day of - Kim arrived carrying two massively heavy looking boxes & a vacuum cleaner. She cut my hair in the kitchen and made sure I was happy with the end result. I was happy. I'm still happy. I'll be calling her again when I'm due for my next haircut. Thank you Kim!

If you dye your hair and it hurts your scalp, the quality is very terrible for the body and hair. As well once I was complete my hair was not dry at all even after 2 processes of dye. Mr Kim here reminds me of mr Kim in the tv show Kims convenience. The way they speak is very similar. Mr Kim here is easygoing and approachable. He did my haircut in a pretty short time.
