During this visit,…read morewe're staying in Odenton and ended up seeing Expressway Pit Beef on the way to our accommodations. We figured we might as well stop and try it. You place your order at the takeout window and they have several tables with umbrellas up front. The order taker asked me what I wanted on it. Told him it was my first pit beef so I want the works. He suggested onions and mayo. Ok... Then he gave me the expectation that my beef would come medium-rare. Perfect! I also ordered a side of fried shrooms. When I got my sandwich, it looked pretty hefty - a good amount of beef for $10! But it looked more well done - far from medium rare. Took a couple of bites and was underwhelmed. It was bland and under seasoned. I had to go up to the condiment bar to mix myself up some horsey sauce - mayo + horseradish. It helped, but was still disappointed that the beef itself was so bland. Fries were good, shrooms were good. Just not sure that I'm enticed to come back again.

We got the pit beef medium with barbecue sauce and horseradish. The meat was kind of bland in the middle so definitely grab some extra BBQ sauce. The 1/2 rack was moist and easily came off the bone. The mac and cheese kind of reminded me of KFC mac and cheese. The potato salad was slightly sweet. The employees were friendly. The food was good and the price seemed fair.

I appreciate there was an employee able to confirm for me that the tofu Banh Mi is vegan. I ordered that with a side of fries. The sandwich was ready quickly and for a food hall I thought the presentation was lovely. My husband and I split the tofu Banh Mi. The bread was soft with a little crunch on the exterior. The lemongrass tofu was light in flavor and a nice firmness. The veggies and flavor of the Banh Mi overall was refreshing and I enjoyed how hearty this meal is without making me feel too heavy. The French fries are superb! My toddler almost ate all of them. They have a good amount of seasoning and look upscale. Definitely not your standard fast food fries. I thought the portion size and the price was so reasonable and I will definitely be back for another Banh Mi or to try more of their vegan offerings.

The pork did not have pork texture (which was interesting... felt like beef, though I know it was pork). Ironically, we also ordered the Braised Beef Noodle Soup which was delicious! It was a bit greasy though. I would go again because I have had other foods from this place and it was good. So I chalk it up to just a bad day. I actually went back in person and ordered the braised beef, and it was tasty. The chef was very accommodating to change the noodle to rice noodles for me. My husband ordered a Bahn Mi. He enjoyed it.

Namaste Foodie - The Bombay Sandwich didn't look like much but it was super flavorful, rich, complex, savory, spicy, filling, healthy, and a good value too.

We ordered a Paneer Kathi roll and a Mutton Keema Pav. Both were good the Kathi roll reminded me of a tortilla wrap with blocked cheese, green peppers, onions, and sauce in it; mine had a bit of spice and it was great. It's also served with a handful of potato chips. The Mutton Keema Pav reminded me of a Sloppy Joe's sandwich, but with more spice and warm flavors. Food was great. Service was also nice. Depending on the type of food I was looking for, they made recommendations for me. They also finished making the food in about 12 minutes and brought our food to our table as the location wasn't too crowded when we went in the morning. They even checked in on us while we were there just to make sure we were satisfied!

I've had other menu items from here before - the koti rolls and some of the small plates and they've been pretty good, but the sandwich set it back a few stars for me personally. Details: Namaste Foodie is located within Clarksville Common, which is set up to feel kind of like street vendors fused with an element of suburbia. You order your food and then can take it to sit in one of the shared indoor/outdoor spaces. After you order your food, most of the experience is self-service (e.g. drinks). Namaste Foodie has a lot of good things going on, but I was pretty confused when I got the sandwich. It felt very plain and lackluster, contrary to some of their other menu items. None of the ingredients really "popped" in terms of quality or flavor and the sum of the parts fell kind of short. I would eat here again, but I would stick with something else next time.

It's a small place compared to a few of the larger places in our area, but that's just fine. This restaurant is worthy of your time! I was looking for something out of the norm and I was not disappointed! From the moment we walked into this lively restaurant to the wonderful aromas, we knew this was going to be a stellar experience! We were greeted promptly and told we could pick a table. We were promptly brought menus and asked for what drinks we wanted. I opted for a Tropical Pina Margarita and hubby got Sandia Chile Margarita. Came very quick and we liked them so much we got another. We could have stopped at the house made salsa that had a smoky flavor and didn't look like it was poured from a jar in the back. The chips were outstanding. We opted to get some queso dip and it was just as good! Better than any other place we have had it. For dinner, my hubby opted for the Cameron Tacos on corn tortillas as he is a celiac. He remarked that it was the first time that he had corn tacos that were *solid*-meaning the taco stayed in shape and didn't fall apart while eating. The slaw was crispy, not overpowering, the pico de gallo was spicy, but not in the burn your tongue sense. He also liked the accompanying black beans and rice. I had Michelin Tacos. The first bite of mine was a bacon wrapped shrimp in a flour taco with a very pleasing sauce. The second one I had was chicken and it was just amazing. Nice slices of chicken with a pretty spicy sauce. Since I'm a big fan of spicy, this was amazing! The last one was steak, and I mean a nice piece of steak! Very tender, not overcooked! I couldn't tell you my favorite, because they were all equally delicious. Juan took very good care of us! Great evening and we will most certainly be back! To all of you that may like the *larger restaurants* on Ritchie Highway, please do yourself a favor and seek one of these stores out! We live closest to the Severna Park location, but all the stores seem to get good feedback! This is so out of the ordinary and definitely worthy of your time!

They handed me this thing off chips with salsa that was enough for five regular people or two Joshuas. The chips were good, fresh, slightly warm. The salsa was fantastic, though a little cilantro forward for someone who thinks it's soap. I ordered a chicken chimichanga for my main. I'll be honest, I'm not sure what came out qualifies as a chimichanga -- it wasn't deeply fried (or baked), and was covered with a cheese sauce like a smothered burrito. Maybe someone sent me the wrong thing? I don't bite. But, it was delicious. The sauce actually greatly complemented everything, and it was evenly seasoned. I'll definitely be back the next time I pass that way.
