Very poor access to a public park for anyone who isn't in perfect condition. They guard wasn't very nice about it and just walked away. Big thumbs down Update: a officer chased me down with my scooter and gave it back so I can see the park. Not sure what happened there!

Find the small Japanese garden and the "castle." Public art decorate the park throughout. Note that dogs are NOT allowed.

If you buy the most expensive ticket it comes with extra things to do. Such as the gondola ride, a train ride, a safari ride and etc. If you are early, you can get a separate ticket to feed the capybara and there are limited amount of tickets allowed! The zoo is decent sized and has your typical basic animals. You are able to feed the fishes, deers and etc. Pretty great experience here! Overall 8/10

This was her 6th zoo visit within the past few years. This was, by far, the best zoo I have visited. I love how much there was to do here; from the deer feedings to train ride and safari, it's a great experience. The zoo is well-maintained, spacious, and beautiful. IF you ever end up in Jalisco, come to this zoo. It's the biggest zoo in Mexico and a nice place for the family to go to !! ( :

Its absolutely wonderful and a breath of fresh air in busy Guadalajara. It get very busy on the weekends, but its huge and worth the trip definitely. There are very large different section so you can find what you are looking for. There is an area with a pond for dogs, a big area with dirt jumps, privacy, people watching. Its huge so you can stroll or throw down a blanket and enjoy. I love this park!

This is a large sports complex with hand ball courts, a lap pool, a running track, and more. One of my cousins recommended the running track here. Parking was plentiful and found a spot close to the entrance. Arrived at about 2PM with my husband and I had the running track all to myself. The track is in great shape, most likely made out of rubber type material because it felt springy. There was a cyclist doing laps around the edges and that was cool to see. Overall, I felt pretty safe here but I wasn't by myself. The bad: traffic is bad so give yourself enough time no matter where you are coming from. Also, this one is not in the greatest of neighborhoods so don't leave visible valuables in your car. With that said, don't wear anything flashy carry only what you need on you. There are restrooms within the complex and they seemed clean; however, there is no toilet paper or paper towels so bring your own. I had to improvise;). There was also no running water from the faucets. Fortunately, I was able to flush the toilet. Overall we had a pleasant experience and would return.
