I have used this Company for over 20 years. Then The owner Joe sold the place. The company has gone in the dumpster. It's a shame Joe ran a great little Company. The New owner are rude and if you disagree with the wife of the owner she blocks your phone number. I told her how one of her employee ruin a very expensive throw rug. She ask me to send her pictures. I told her I would and tried to hang up because I was in a meeting. I tried to be polite and I explained I was in a meeting and I would call her back and I hung up the phone. When I tried calling her back she blocked my number! I miss Joe. My advice go elsewhere...! read more

Excellent service! We had an emergency large pet accident on our carpet. Jackie showed up quickly to handle the problem. He removed the stains and they have not come back. read more

We got two couches and a matress done for 240. It was done less than an hour. Some parts of the matress isn't even wet. All the stains are right there! And I was wondering if he actually cleaned it so I checked the baby monitor in that room afterwords. He spent 5mins total just vacuumed part of the back and part of the front! Do I even need to pay money for that???Most awful experience ever for cleaning couches and matress. I can do a better job than him with out wet vacuum!!!!!!WASTE OF MONEY! read more

Outstanding! I've used C.C.C. maybe 5 or 6 times throughout the years and have always found them courteous, fast, and they do a GREAT job! John was over today and cleaned my dingy 30-year-old carpets again and WOW! They look terrific! And their prices remain the same! I once tried another carpet cleaner who tried to jack-up the price from their 'coupon special' once they got to my condo...never again! I'm sticking with C.C.C. !! read more

Jacky was very nice but the work that was done at my home was very disappointing. I had my travertine tile and grout floor cleaned. After he finished it was clear there were many areas that were not clean and there was even still dirt and pieces of dog food in a number of areas that he claimed to have cleaned. Jacky and the owner, Joe, assured me that it looked dirty just because it was wet. This was incorrect. The next day it looked the same. I also discovered that my two small area rugs which he cleaned were still covered in dog hair. When I called the owner, Joe, to discuss my concerns, he told me he did not have time to talk to me due to family concerns. Jacky did return a few days later as promised to re-clean anything I was not happy with, and it is now just OK. However I will never use this company again. read more

Worst experience ever. Just want to post my experience to help others and be aware of this business. Try to be around them in each area while cleaning. During the service, they damaged the new TV in the guest room and didn't admit or took responsibility. I had the service scheduled with this company Certified Carpet Care first time as I received the coupon in the mail. Scheduled the service for Thursday. My wife was home with kids in the other room as the carpet was getting cleaned and she couldn't keep an eye on the people who were doing the cleaning due to kids. The carpet was still wet for more than a day in all the rooms and we were requested not to walk on the carpet while it is still wet. Our whole family was limited to the area where there was no carpet to allow other rooms to get dry. One of the rooms that was cleaned had a very small area where cleaning was needed. That room is more like a guest room which is not used on regular basis. We stayed away from that room for the whole day Friday to let it dry completely. On Saturday early morning, i went to the room to check out the carpet and realized the TV in that room which was newer (little over a year old) had scratches and the screen was keep turning on and off by itself. Also, the TV stand also moved from the original area (that didn't need to be moved for the cleaning purpose as it was in the corner and we did not ask the crew to move it). As soon as I realized the TV is broken on Saturday morning, I called the company where I booked the appointment and I was told that the particular crew may not be available over the weekend and they will call me on Monday. No one called me on Monday so I had to call back 3 consecutive days until next Wednesday and left several voicemails. After calling them consecutively, finally got a call back and the person who called back started yelling about they didn't do anything without even listening to my complaint. I asked him to calm down but he was being rude and kept shouting and asked me do whatever I could and he didn't even want to listen to me and kept saying why you didn't call me the same day of cleaning and reported it. Of course I was not aware about that damage until I went to the room and noticed it especially when the room was still wet, how could he expect us to check each and everything same day after they left. I asked him if he was the owner of the company and he confirmed that he was the owner that I really doubt due to his way of communication and how he misbehaved. I decided not to proceed with that conversation as he didn't want to listen at all Honestly, I didn't care about getting any money for the damage but at least show some ethical values and admit. What goes around comes around. Good luck with your unethical business. read more

"Satisfaction guaranteed" eh? Yelp should enable negative star reviews because this "business" deserves all the negative stars and negative comments it can receive in order to be put out of business for good because this "business" is the worst carpet cleaning service in the San Fernando Valley. I'd like to point out that I have dealt with this so called "certfied carpet care" more than a handful of times. This business is not fit for the work cut out for them. I am a Business owner, and my word is my bond so when I request the services of a business for which I AM PAYING FOR, I demand professional labor to be executed and nothing short of that. And when a business does not execute professionally, I will give you an earful. And you will have to listen or I will report you to the better business bureau. Due to the fact that the customer is ALWAYS right ;-) Called up CCC and talked to, who I thought was the incompetent and cantankerous proprietor of the crappy carpet cleaners incorporated, Mr. Joseph! As I was expressing my distaste and dissatisfaction of his certified caring of carpet in a professional manner, he began speculating irascibly that I wasn't going to pay for his futile service (I never said that I wasn't going to pay), and began to scold me over the phone about how I should understand his sentiments because he's "speaking English very clearly." Well, Mr. Joseph I hope my review in English is exceptional and adequate. And I hope you pry open a dictionary and thesaurus and pay heed to what I am conveying to you. Don't assume the worst from your customers because of your inadequate labor services and abominable customer service. In other words, Mr. Joseph, take your certification of carpet cleaning and shove it directly in your arse. Maybe one of the carpet cleaners as well :-)))) read more

I'm disappointed to read the 1-star reviews because I got 2 rooms and some hallways done on Friday for a great price. (Yes, it went up from 80 to 120 for deep cleaning, but I have a feeling when I ask them back in a year, I won't need the deep cleaning again.) On the phone, Joe set up my appointment easily, and Carlos arrived on time and was polite, quick and thorough. I'm loving my carpets, and I hope others will have an equally good experience! read more

CCC sends a coupon in the mail for $49.95/2 rooms (and they charge $75/3 rooms, so no less cheap), which is a good price, but I was a little nervous to use them since I didn't see any reviews for them anywhere. But I liked knowing how much the service would cost upfront (whereas a competitor charges some minimum and then 25 cents each add'l square foot -- that adds up fast). So the upshot is: They were timely, nice, fast, and did good work. 3 rooms in under 2 hours, no extra charge for the 4th floor (we have a balcony for the hose), truck-mount. They cleaned under the sofa, coffee table, and chairs, gave the area right in front of the sofa extra cleaning b/c they said that area is always dirtier, and put the furniture on foam risers to dry. Carpet was dry to the touch in 4 or 5 hours; completely dry in 8. Satisfied on all counts and will call them again next time. Plus, now they have a review. :) Oh, p.s., apparently they have multiple locations so the Canoga Park listing is also them. read more

they sent Carlos and his helper Luis to do my house this past weekend, they were very polite and did a great job. While they do try to upsell various products/add-ons, I politely declined and they did an excellent job, worked very hard (especially on those annoying stairs), and I'm very happy with how my carpet looks even 4 days later. read more

COVID has taken its toll on CCC. I've used them for years and been very happy since they would come back if stains reappeared. No more. So sad to see a small business not being able to keep its long term customers. read more

The technician was 15 minutes late, BUT he cleaned my 1-bedroom apartment in just a little over 1 hour ... It was raining on that day, so I expressed concern about the carpet drying. He spent extra time vacuuming afterwards, getting as much excess water as possible. The carpets dried within 6 hours. It's been over a week since having this service, and my carpet looks so perfectly clean. I would definitely call this company again if I needed to get carpets cleaned! read more

Bait and switch! I have used them for years back when Joe son use to do the cleaning great guy! We used them for both home and commercial buildings. I called over the phone said it would be $159.00 for my house. Thought it sounded cheap but he was running the so-called "SPECIAL" WINK.... Mr carpet arrived and said he wanted $380.00 and with my discount $350.00! He told how great it would look. Look just like it did the last time they did it. It cost me a 100.00 more! I'm done. Guy did a good job but overpriced. Won't use them again. Note my house is small! read more

Got an estimate over the phone for $149 for 3 rooms, a hallway and a stairway (13 steps and 2 landings). Carpet was cleaned May 2, 2019 but not for that price. I agreed to pay $300 because according to Johny the technician it had to be deep cleaned. I was surprised that he was able to finish in less than an hour. The next day, the areas were completely dry, but there are some areas that are still dirty. Called Joe twice May 3 and May 6, 2019 and told me that someone will call me back. I requested for him to have those areas to be re-cleaned. Nobody called. read more

The person that they sent to clean my carpets reek of cigarette smoke and had his companion in the van with him very unprofessional he tried to jack up the price when I know that he could have done it for the $59 special I am very dissatisfied with this carpet cleaning business I feel like he tried to take advantage of me and I know that he could have cleaned it for the special price he tried to say that the pet stains would be more to get out and I don't even have pets I am not ever calling certified Carpet Care again for my carpet needs and I wouldn't suggest that any of you do either read more

These guys are shady, I was quoted 119 to clean my sofa. I was away on business and my wife was home with two small children. A very shady cleaning guy tried to convince her we needed to spend $400 to get the couch clean all the way. He had all kinda of lines. Finally I got in the phone and he told me the 119 would do nothing. I told him to leave. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I was a loyal customer for at least 15 years...NEVER again. What started out as a wonderful carpet cleaning service run by Joe, has now turned into a horrible service. They use the bait and switch program, one price to come to your house. Another to actually clean your carpets. They UPSELL, and if you do not buy in they DO NOT guarantee a good job. The job is done by all outside contractors now. You never get the same technician. Please do yourself a favor, and DO NOT CALL. Unless you want your house wet vacuumed, your furniture slammed into , and your carpets left dirty. PS If your are upset THEY DONT CARE. They tell your it is your fault...you did not pay up. I could not wait to get the 2 men out of my house...it was intimidating. SO Joe...ADIOS!!!!! PPS...I do not think they even read their reviews. I wrote this to help someone else from this company. read more

Very dissatisfied with this service. They gave me a quote for a 3 bedroom and told me over the phone that it would include spot cleaning dog pee that was just there for 3 days. They ended upselling me this service for $45 more which they say would completely remove the stain. Only after 30 mins the technician was done with the 3 rooms and the stain was still there. He tells me there was nothing he could do because it was an acid stain despite telling him that's why I upgraded the service. I called Joe who I've been dealing with on the phone to schedule this appointment and now all of a sudden he started being rude and doesn't have time to talk to me because there were "3 other customers in front of him" and passed me over to his technician who also "couldn't do anything more." Never ever use this company! They're super attentive at first but once they get your money they're completely unprofessional and rude. read more

Russel showed up on time, and went through room by room explaining everything he could do (I wasn't sure what would work with my budget). He didn't try and sell me anything I didn't need, but pointed out some issues I hadn't noticed. When we were done going over it all, he measured, gave me a price that fit with my budget, and I was able to get it all done, plus a couple sections I hadn't originally thought about doing. He worked about 3 hours, and kept me posted on the progress. Everything looks great, he seemed like a nice guy, and my wife's happy with the super-clean floors... at least until our daughter decides to redecorate the place with applesauce again. read more

If you call this company, prepare yourself for a bait and switch and lots of upselling. (We've used them a few times previously and have never encountered these problems before. Not sure if it's under new management.) As far as the quality of the work, they attempted to steam a rug while it was on my wood floors, (you're going to ruin the floors!!!) and dumped all the shampoo waste water onto my drought tolerant front lawn (now you might end up killing my plants). Aside from the high prices, the carpets actually ended up really clean. Hope this helps. read more

Been doing business with CCC since 2012. Always did a great job. Took the extra time to make the carpet look great. This time was a disaster. I have a beach front vacation house in Santa Monica and we occasionally throw company parties there, of course hosting over 200 guests at a carpeted house, with some Persian rugs needs more than average maintenance and cleaning. We were introduced to Certified Carpet about 15 years ago and all these years we have only hired them to do our carpets/rugs and marble cleanings. Joe the owner is an absolute professional and a great man. Quality and service is what I expect in return to my spent $$$ and I get it all with this company. Thank you Certified Carpet! read more

I used Certified Carpet Care this morning, since I received a coupon in the mail and was overdue for a thorough cleaning. My carpets are very light and aging, so I didn't have high expectations. However, I am amazed at how beautiful my carpets look now! They are light and bright...and smell fresh. Johnny, the technician worked very hard to make sure that I am satisfied with his progress. I recommend Certified Carpet Care. Their pricing is affordable, too! I will use them again. read more

Great service ! My tech Jerry was so nice & professional. Carpets look awesome ! I highly recommend 6 STARS !!

This is the second time I have had carpet cleaning service using this company and both times I have been amazed. I made the mistake of using someone else before when I couldn't find their number and it was an aweful waste of time and money. Anyways, Javier from certified carpet care came out yesterday and cleaned our carpets and rugs in preparation for our baby on the way. So thorough! Carpet smells amazing and we have 2 boys and 2 dogs and it erased all that away. Thank you! I will keep your number saved and be a regular customer always! read more

Very timely; said they would show up between 9-10am and arrived at 9:15am. Estimate given over the phone was accurate. I paid $109 for 4 rooms, roughly 800 sq ft. Paid $40 extra for "deep clean", probably worth it. Then paid $25 to clean sectional couch cushions. Total was $175. Carpet looks good (except for one potty stain in my daughters room, I'll work on it harder myself), but not sure the cushions look any different after cleaning then before. Gentleman was here for about 2 hours of cleaning. Carpet stayed damp for over 2 days, even with all windows open day and night. Overall, good price, fast and clean carpet. We will definitely use them again on the carpet, but i'll skip the cushion "cleaning". ps, they take credit cards read more

Coupon deal- $49 for 2 rooms & $100 for 4 rooms. Called Wednesday and done Thursday. Our carpets are about 15 years old and had never been cleaned. Armando spot treated then steam cleaned our 4 bedrooms in about 75 minutes and they look brand new. We had moved small furniture out of rooms to allow thorough job. Helped move furniture around in one room so tipped him well. Great company. Won't wait 15 years anymore... read more

I called to get a quote for spot cleaning and stain removal and the man was very rude, and defensive about being able to get the spots removed. The job was for a commericial building and when I informed him of the landlord's insurance requirements he literally laughed at me and said "that's a lot of work for hardly any money." If you ask me, a company that is unwilling and hesistant about retrieving an insurance certificate is not a company I trust to clean my carpets. Wouldn't recommend this company for commericial residents. read more

Had used them before to clean a couch and was satisfied with the results so called them to clean the carpet in two rooms and another set of couches. First experience was a pleasant guy, second experience was a rude, unprofessional jerk who brought his teenage son that he verbally abused in our presence (made my 10 year old very uncomfortable). We placed the couches on the back patio, to make it easier for him and completely emptied both rooms for his convenience. It appeared the cleaning was going well, but at the final stretch he hit and lifted an area of baseboard (didn't attempt to fix it) then knocked off and broke one of a pair of bronze sconces off my wall. In his anger he blamed the son, who wasn't even in the house when it happened and offered to come back and scotch guard the couches he had just cleaned. I should've call the office then, but he made us feel very uncomfortable that we wanted him out ASAP. Called the office a couple of days later and discussed it with who we believe to be the owner. He offered to come back another time to clean the carpets, but we wanted compensation to replace the sconce. He said he'd look into trying to find replacement and after a couple of phone tag timelines they have not attempted to make good on doing anything. In addition after all this, strange round spots started appearing on different areas of the carpet. Not sure what from, but rest assured we will no longer be calling on them. Side note; told my friend who originally referred me and was told we were the 3rd household unsatified with their experience. read more

what a joke these people second time around. first time we used them in 2012 and they sent a guy who worked his ass off, spent HOURS here and left by the time my husband came home from work, which was around 7pm - he arrived around 9:30ish. i was blown away by his work ethic and the incredible job he did. my husband gave him a big tip. this time around, they send another guy b/c the first one is no longer with the company - should've started doubting then. this second guy cleaned our two story house in 1.5 hrs and did a pretty shitty job. the same stains are still here. not only do i now have carpets that don't look cleaned, but i got wet ones and i have to worry about drying them fast as i have 2 year old twins. it looked more like he was vacuuming than actually cleaning and trying to make an effort in removing stains b/c i was watching him "work". stark contrast with his efforts and the first guy as i remember watching him clean the carpets too. this clown was bullshitting his way thru regarding the stains and claimed the dark spots are milk stains - we told him they are not as my kids are on solid foods. then he had the fucking nerve to write on his invoice that the spots were caused by milk stains despite us telling him they weren't. i called him on it and once again began to bullshit to cover his ass. he was definitely in a hurry, did a LOUSY job, and a fraud. there should be negative star reviews. these idiots just lost another customer. we have our own carpet cleaner and would've done a better job than his "$20,000 machine" - he claimed if it couldn't clean the spots, nothing would, which is bullshit. i regret $355 later, in hiring these clowns when i could've used a local company we used last year who did a way better job. the owner is also a prick when calling to r/s. he sounded irritated that i had to r/s - here's a clue dude, the customer is always right! treat your customers well and you'll get repeat business. do a shitty job, be unprofessional and make people uncomfortable on the phone and you just lost business. looks like rainbow restoration or servicemaster will be getting a new customer. read more
