However, I'm dropping down a star as am sensitive to smell and the chemical air deodorant drove me barmy and I left with a headache and ear-ache as the chemical smell was so intense. This has been an awful experience for me. More than 48 hours after closing, I still had not seen…read morepayment. After contacting Sunbelt multiple times, I was finally told that the previous day, they discovered that they had requested the wrong pay off date on my paperwork from PennyMac the mortgage company therefore they didn't have the correct payoff amount so my wire transfer was cancelled. The frustrating part was that they knew that I was wondering what was taking so long because I had already called and inquired. And it wasn't until my second or third call that they told me what they had found. I should have been notified immediately that there was a major error. Not the next day after I had to reach out again. It has now been FOUR days and I still haven't been paid for the sale of my home. Sunbelt is blaming my mortgage company saying the delay is on them. PennyMac did nothing wrong. Their calculation process takes 48 hours. That is why the correct information should have been requested in the first place. The other irritating part is when I asked how this happened, ***** response was "Well I was on vacation and I thought the paperwork was correct." An employee's vacation should have no bearing on my paperwork. And blaming the mortgage company is unprofessional. Again, had the CORRECT date of payoff been requested PRIOR to my close date of 11/29, we would not be waiting on ANYTHING from the mortgage company. I am remodeling a home and because of this delay, I had to cancel several contractors who were scheduled to begin critical work on the home we are now living in. We are unable to finish critical plumbing repairs because we are still waiting on payment. Waiting now four days to be paid for the sale of a home, in which the new owners are now living in, is completely absurd.

I hired Valerie after she came highly recommended to me by her husband, Mike. It was the biggest…read moremistake we ever made. Valerie puts on a good show of acting like she cares when in reality she is lazy, incompetent and unprofessional. She came to our condo, took horrible cell phone pictures. Never guided us on the correct pricing. Not once did she offer an open house and when we had an amazing offer she let it slip through the cracks because of language barriers and her own personal issues. There was zero communication and when we did communicate it was her telling me about her grandson or an appointment she was at or her sick father. I knew more about her personal life than I did about my condo sale. Once we decided we no longer trusted her as our realtor we kept things professional with her, however, Miss Valerie took to using vulgar language while on the phone and refused to release our listing. It took Valerie 2 days and a threat to report her to get her to finally remove our listing so our new realtor could list our home. With our new realtor, Simi, we sold our condo in 30 days. She presented us with numerous offers, good offers, something Valerie never did. Valerie Kennedy is a hack and so is her lazy daughter. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else.
