When we started our journey with Chris Brown it was great he was there when we needed him and answered all the questions we had. After we came in to sign the paperwork seems like things were turned upside down. Chris became unavailable yes it was due to training classes but when we told him many times we need to speak to him directly he couldn't take a few minutes before or after his training to give us a call. Inside he would text us or push us off on his team Toni or Anne. Through the process with the whole team we asked many times for them to explain something and we kept getting the same song and dance, even one time was told to stop worry everything would be fine. If everything was fine we would be seeing our closing costs going from $3,400's to $3,900 to $4,200 to $4,600 and finally to $5,200's at closing with no details why its increasing. This is my first home its my right to wonder and know the reason for the increase. We were also told that if you paid Debit or check for the Appraisal it would be credited back to you at closing, than weeks later we find that it would only be credited if there was seller credit left at the end. We were also told that the 2nd reappraisal would be collected at the closing and not to worry there is not extra money out of packet. Next time i look at my bank account I am now missing $175 for a reappraisal. My biggest issue about this was it was unauthorized I never gave Toni or Anne or anyone the okay to charge my account a 2nd time and I didn't even have a warning. When i brought this us to Toni it was just a sorry. When I brought this up to Chris he ended up pushing back to Toni instead of giving me a call to discuss this. Sorry but if one of my employees just broke the law i would make sure i call the person right away not text them. There were many other lies from Toni and Anne as well. Little things like saying an Appraisal was submit 1 day than find it wasn't submit until the following when we were trying to get the 3rd appraisal in so we might of had a chance to close on time. Little things like being told that FEMA and HUD just now released the lock for Appraisals than finding out from the same person later that same day it was released the day before. For these reason and many more I would never use Chris or his team again. I would not refer anyone to Chris. Yes the work was completed, Yes it was a week late, but when with a week extra we still found ourselves 30 minutes before closing searching for answers that we have been asking about for weeks. read more

It had been already three weeks since we complete the closing of our first "home". As a newlywed family with two kids and a lots of illusions, there was missing a final piece to complete the perfection of our life. After a long series (100 +days) of empty promises, vague terminology like 'breaking log jams", "gaining momentum", and "close to finalizing", and a series of emoticons from Chris Brown, I was shuffled to another consultant. After another month on her desk, I was told that the loan could not get approved. THen I was asked to consider renting the property (when all of my paperwork clearly listed the property as already being a rental). DO not believe the hype, consider this team "out to lunch." ***As far as not disclosing being paid in foreign currency, that is false. if working for a foreign company in a foreign country, and filing foreign earned income on my taxes isn't clear enough, then check our first correspondence and open the attachments. Though this process was lengthy (almost 7 months from initial contact w/Chris and the team) it was definitely beneficial. Our HARP 2.0 closing occurred last week. The CMP team ALWAYS replied promptly to our concerns (and trust me there were a few).
