I'm the studio remodel pictures listed here and I would not recommend David McGowan at all, I had a terrible experience. I hired David back in June to do a remodel of my den as I want an ADU space for guests and extra income. Initially he seemed very professional and I hired him. I informed him about some quirks of my 1960's built house, including that there is a ceiling heating system. He started the work and everything looked fine, except that he cut the wiring on the heating system to install lights. When I complained, he argued with me insisted that I hadn't told him about the system. We eventually resolved that, so the work continued. After the work finished the lights he installed stopped working. He came back and said it was an amp or a panel problem and he would come back and fix it. Here we are three months later and I still have no functioning lights. I called a specialized electrical contractor and they said it was not the panel but that the lights were wired incorrectly. He won't return my calls and I have to spend extra money to re-do his sloppy and dangerous electrical work.

It was not level and had lumps & ridges under the vinyl, so we had that removed. We were not able to finish our kitchen for the entire summer. Seriously. Then we had Mike come in. He did a fantastic job installing a new vinyl floor for us. The floor is flat, level and feels solid. Mike did in one weekend what the other company could not do over an entire summer.
