Found this little gem when we were on our road trip to Ensenada for spring break! It's a must try! Their beer is good, their food is even better and the ambiance is very comfortable. Iker, our server, gave excellent customer service and made some great recommendations. We tried their Sirena and Vieja beers and I think it's safe to say that you can't go wrong with whatever you try on their menu. Their ceviche verde and ceviche negro was fresh and amazing. Their sirloin beef burger patty is made in house and so tasty! My husband had the Rockefeller oysters and those were also very tasty! We will definitely be back for more on our next trip. I'm so glad we decided to visit this brewery. Pretty sweet. It's all built in containers. Even the bathrooms are incredible the way they are set up. They did a great job at greeting us, welcoming us, & explaining how everything works with COVID-19 & even provided masks. They bottle the brew even when ordering to-go. It was awesome! One of them popped before we left & they quickly capped it back for us. The IPA was so tasty delicious & if you like ale, the cream ale was really good too (& I don't like Ale). The alcohol content was quite high for the IPA which is always nice & the view alone is worth going back too once everything is reopened. Lastly, that customer service was spot on! Ok. This place is really cool. Whoever designed this brewery is really creative and paid incredible attention to detail. Service was SO good. But, the food was terrible. Don't bother with the oysters or the pizza. The beers were fine. We got a flight of five. They were all different so this place has a lot of variety, but nothing was really a homerun. I don't think this is the place you go to if you are doing a food tour. But, if you are just looking for some place to chill and drink beer, this is a really good place. Great brewery - I ordered one of their gin cocktails and couldn't stop ordering it. My husband got a flight of all their IPAs. It was hard for him to pick which one we wanted a pint of since they were all so good. We have a burger and pizza. The pizza was great and the burger was huge - had potential if the bread was dry, which ultimately changed the overall taste of the burger. Service was pretty good... They were pretty busy so we didn't get a few things - utensils to cut/split the burger, and towards the end, we didn't get a beer we ordered but was charged for it. It took a while to get the check so at that point, we paid quickly bc we needed to head out, and didn't realize it til later. Nonetheless, highly recommend and we will be back! read more

The bar's on the second floor - take the stairs up in middle of the containers - and has a great view of the ocean. Cool Craft tenders (remember to study you copy of the best selling 'Craft Jesus Basic Spanish for Crafters' guide). Brewing's a Baja German/West Coast mash up. Nice change. It's far enough away from downtown that only the occasional cruise shipper turns up. If they try to engage with you, just pretend you only speak Español. Now you're wishing you read the book! Incredible brewery!!! It is a must when we are in Baja California. Our trip doesn't feel complete if we don't come here! The beer: Seems like they have a few new selections when we come, which is great! However, we love Sirena. Definitely a smooth beer and not too hoppy. They also had a Wit Bier, which was really good. The food: The food is insanely good here. We usually get the ceviche, which is fish ceviche with habanero and coconut milk. Don't let the habanero scare you! The coconut milk counteracts with it perfectly. Buttery textured fish and it does not have that overwhelming fish smell or taste. The atmosphere: the small building is made of trailer containers stacked on one another with a nice on the 2nd floor. People of all ages and mixture of locas and tourists here. Music is not super loud and it's kid friendly. Plenty of parking outside. Nice view frkm side windows during the day. Price: Inexpensive place where you'll get a bang for your buck without sacrificing service or quality. Give this place a try next time you're in Baja, you won't regret it! read more

We had came down last month to the area but didn't stop in. This past Friday, we stopped in and loved the decor. We checked in and they asked if we had reservations and we said no and they said "well let's see what we have, we're kind of busy." They ended up sitting us, maybe 5 min later. The COVID rules are similar to the US...mask, 2 hour max, need to buy food with beer, etc. The server was awesome even though he said the spicy fries weren't spicy but dang they were spicy lol The reason for 3 stars was how we were treated at 9:01pm. 'Apparently, the location closes at 9pm & that means everyone out not they close doors and no longer serve but let patrons finish. 'Manuel' (not sure if that was his name but a guy with a thick dark beard) walked to the table I was at and said, 'We're closing' and I responded 'Oh ok, yeah we'll leave as soon as we finish the beer, we already closed our tab' He responded with 'we close at 9, what time is it now?' I looked at my watch and said '9:01' he said 'exactly, we need to close' at this point I was starting to get heated and my Spanish isn't the best so I knew I wouldn't be able to argue anymore and let him know that is not how you treat paying customers. The waiter came by right after and tried to serve me more water and I did snap at him and said in Spanish, 'why are you doing that? We're getting kicked out anyway' and the poor guy looked at me stunned and walked away. I felt bad afterwards but at the moment I was upset. I'm not 100% on the open container situation in that area but they put the beer in a plastic cup and let us be on our way in the street. I would like to try it again because the beer was good and the decor was cool but they gave preferential treatment to the regulars so if I do go, it'll be under a microscope and have my guard up. read more

This was my 2nd favorite of the breweries in Ensenada. Ok, maybe it can be tied for 1st... Arrived here on a busy Friday night. Parking was a bit of a headache, as there are few spots to be found along the wide, gravel shoulder along the busy highway. They do employ a gentleman that acts as an attendant to help you squeeze into some space with your car, so that is a nice touch. The building itself is built out of old shipping containers, which makes for a funky, industrial vibe. The space inside is tight but not overwhelming. I was able to find a nice table to fit me and the 2 others I was meeting. Quickly, a server came over to welcome me and offer the beer list and a menu of the tapas food options they have. As for the beer, I ordered a flight and the server made sure to explain every beer on the flight when he arrived with it. They were all quite good. Nice mix of IPAs and other ales.
