A great seafood shellabration here! Came here with rave Yelp reviews and friend recommendations. We came during an off time so it wasn't as busy. You check in and then they ask you wait in their waiting area next door which looks a little bare and the outside patio seems like a smoking area. After we were called, we walked upstairs to a brightly-lit dining room. Lots of serving staff and all very friendly. Their menu is extensive and it's great they have photos too! My favorites had to be the giant tiger prawn, razor clams, and the crab head, but everything was tasted good and the seafood tasted fresh. Would recommend!

Seafood paradise here with some interesting selections! We tried barnacles for the first time, which tasted salty like the sea and a bit chewy. Didn't really do it for me, but the SO liked them. Everything we had was fresh and good: I loved the shrimp in garlic and clams in garlic so much we ordered the razor clams after. The tiger prawns and scallops were delicious too. You must keep the bread to sop up all the yummy sauces. Simply prepared to let the star ingredients, the seafood, shine! I wish they would devein the shrimp though. The restaurant was packed! Reservations are an absolute must and available 3 months in advance with a €50 deposit.
If seafood is your love language, Cervejaria Ramiro is the Lisbon institution that lives up to every bit of its legendary status. We started with oysters, pristine and briny, served ice-cold and clean--no frills, just absolute freshness. From there, the clams in garlic and olive oil arrived bubbling and aromatic, the kind of dish you have to mop up with bread until the bowl is spotless. The showstopper? The giant tiger prawns, presented simply and perfectly cooked--sweet, meaty, and impossibly tender. And then came the crab, cracked open tableside, paired with Ramiro's famously rich, indulgent crab mixture (yes, the one everyone talks about). It's decadent, savory, and completely unapologetic. The vibe is classic Lisbon--buzzy, efficient, no-nonsense--yet the quality of the seafood feels luxe in the best way. Service is fast, knowledgeable, and keeps the parade of shellfish flowing seamlessly. Important tip: while walk-ins are possible, it's much better to have a reservation unless you're happy waiting--this place is packed for a reason. Come hungry, order generously. Cervejaria Ramiro isn't just a meal--it's a Lisbon rite of passage.
We went for dinner on New Year's Eve so probably not your normal everyday experience. It was pre-booked/ paid yet there was still a line to enter. The line took ~10 minutes. We were sat upstairs even though we requested to sit downstairs. Food delivers to the table very quickly so don't worry if you aren't sure how much food to order. You can always order more and it will still arrive quickly. The food was about 50/50 good. Razor clams and giant prawns delicious. Giant prawns could have used a little more char. The clams bulhao was extremely sandy - not great. We also tried the (supposed) spicy prawns. The prawn quality was fine but there was zero spice. Wine can be ordered by the glass bottle or half bottle which was a nice option. Our server was nice and efficient. Overall the seafood was hit or miss that day.
All my friends said this was a must try restaurant in Lisbon, and after visiting, I have to agree. I was lucky that day since there was no wait for a table. After checking the menu, I noticed it's mostly seafood, so if you don't eat seafood or are vegetarian, I wouldn't recommend it. But otherwise, this place truly lives up to the hype. I love crab, and I had the best crab of my life here! The shrimp was my second favorite, and I saw many people ordering the clams and garlic shrimp as well. The service was excellent too! Yeah and the bread was so good! I reminded myself that when I checked in this place.
When in Lisbon, Ramiro is a must. This place was recommended to us by both tourists and locals alike. If possible, I'd recommend making a reservation here unless you don't mind a long wait. A local told me reservations aren't necessary and they'll always have a table for you - this is true but it may come with an 1.5 hour wait attached. This was true in our case. You take a number and wait either outside or in their lounge area. The lounge felt a bit hacky to me but it's a good option for drinking and relaxing while you wait. There's a pour-your-own-pint option which was like a vending machine but for beer - pretty cool. The bathroom in the lounge area was really dirty and needed to be serviced. The outside waiting area can get crowded but is a better atmosphere than the lounge. However, the cheesy lounge, dirty bathroom, and long wait were all forgotten once we sat down. I was pleased to see an even mix between tourists and Portuguese people in our section. As much hype as this place gets, it's not a tourist trap. This is some of the best seafood I've ever had at some of the most reasonable prices I've ever seen. We ordered spider crab, gambas, clams, prawns, and barnacles. I was in seafood heaven. Everything is perfectly cooked and seasoned simply but excellently. The seafood is so fresh it doesn't need much but the quality of butter, garlic, and olive oil shines through. Even the simple buttered bread they give you was delicious - using it to mop up the sauce from the clams and the delicious soup in the spider crab shell was just chef's kiss. We ended up paying only 120 euros for all the food (excluding drinks we had while we waited). For that amount of seafood and at that quality? That price is absurd! Service was friendly and struck the perfect balance between attentive and laidback. I loved that they even showed us the live spider crab before they cooked it - that's how you know everything is super fresh here! I would 1000% return to Ramiro in a heartbeat.
A Lisbon right of passage. Friendly service. Authentic cooking. Go hungry and ready to explore their menu meaningfully. Recommend the steak sandwich and garlic shrimp as foundational components of your meal. Highly recommend.
I made a reservation for one waaaaaaay before I got to Lisbon. I requested to be seated by the window when I made the reservation. I arrive at the restaurant at 7pm. Upon checking in, the host pointed me to the outdoor seating, which was perfect. But when I got to the entrance of the outdoor area, the guy was telling the host something in Portuguese and told me to go back cuz they have a table for me inside. They did have a table for me inside -- next to the restroom, tucked away in a little corner, furthest from a window, which is not what I requested for. cream cheese was soooooo good! Buttery smooth spread over the bread! Warning: it smells like feet! Oysters were nothing special. No extra toppings to put in it for extra flavor. Tasted like oysters. Garlic shrimp was soooooo amazing! I love how salty it was! I love garlic, so it was perfection for me. I could eat this all day everyday! It's also already peeled, so it saves you from getting your hands dirty. The lobster roll was also heavenly. The bread is sweet and soft. I would order this over and over and over again. I was concerned at how some might consider this a little expensive for the portion, but I totally understand why. OMG! The scallop is to die for! Another favorite of mine! I loved how simple it was with the oil and lemon. The smokiness of it made it better. Tasted and smelled Smokey, which I've never experienced with scallops before! YUMMMM! Songkor took great care of me. Attentive and he gave great suggestions! Glad it turned out that I had him as a server. Thank you!
Top tier food and at an amazing price. Great customer service and waiter suggestions. We made reservations maybe a week or two in advance, which i highly suggest- this restaurant was on a tv show and a few reputable list. The line grew for those without reservations outside. The suggested we share and just order family style, which Insecond because it's a way to try multiple items and honestly, i didn't understand the pricing - if it was by lb or plate. still don't know lol A MUST is the spicy shrimp, scarlet shrimp, the shrimp that came on the brass/copper bowl (first pick). While in portugal, it is a must (if you're open and adventurous) to try Barnacles. We tried a very small amount first - the waiter taught us how to eat them -- we enjoyed them and ordered a bit more! We also order the clams and king spikey crab (which we met before he time ended - never a fan of that - don't even like to see them swimming in the fish tank) In lisbon, you pay for the culvert and you are not typically asked if you want it- they just hand you bread and butter and other appetizers and it appears on the receipt (butter, too is itemized). There is patio seating, bottom floor and upstairs seating -- the vibe is antique, bright, and fancy but don't feel pressured to dress up.
One of the absolute best dining experiences I've had ever! This place is a must if you're in Lisbon. The seafood is so fresh and well prepared, we got a ton of different things but our favorites were the giant prawns, barnacles, razor clams and the steak sandwich. The servers are wonderful and there's constant action happening around the restaurant which makes it a ton of fun!
Cervejaria Ramiro lives up to the hype--super fresh seafood and unique dishes like percebes (sweet, chewy, and briny), garlic cockles, and scarlet shrimp. Great steak sandwich too for non-seafood eaters. Ice-cold beer, lively vibe, and we came w/out reservations between lunch and dinner, no wait. Totally worth it.
Not sure what more needs to be said about this seafood institution, but so so so fresh and delicious! Came for lunch and didn't have a reservation, but we were seated quickly. QR code on the table leads to an extensive menu of a variety of very fresh seafood selections. The special of the day was spicy shrimp and garlic, which we had to get. So flavorful and the bread (which is not free) is the perfect vessel to scoop up the garlicky goodness at the bottom. Also got the scallops and red scarlet shrimp (very expensive but so good especially mixed with the head). The meal was pricey but you certainly get what you pay for as the seafood here is so fresh and tasty.
Great value and great taste. Came here after seeing it on a Mark Wiens video. Yelp reviews mentioned a long wait at dinner time so we came at lunch. The restaurant was fairly empty when we arrived after 12, but it was almost full when we left before 2. In any case, lunch is best to avoid a wait. The waiter was very helpful in recommending dishes. In fact he recommended what turned out to be my favorite seafood item EVER... scarlet shrimp. Highly recommend this dish. So flavorful and buttery. They are really big too. Another highlight is "edible crab". It had a lot of meat and also roe. Quite tasty. Apart from that I think the seafood quality is on par with what you can get from decent seafood places in the US... just more flavorful (and cheaper). Note that most items on the menu seem to be shellfish. I don't think that there was any fish or octopus. read more
Ok, so Bourdain and Phil Rosenthal ate here. Cool, cool. Yes, we all came here as a result of their influence. This once was a dive cervejaria, which has now been commercialized beyond your wildest imagination. I'm not kidding around. You walk up to a kiosk that provides you with a number. You are already in the patio area and decide, okay, I'm used to an hour wait, maybe two depending on the quality of food. You patiently view the screen which calls out random numbers. And that's when you realize, the numbers are purposefully not listed in numerical order--otherwise, no one in their right mind would bother to wait. Once everything is said and done, the food is decent at best, but certainly not worth a 2-3 hour wait. There are way better places to eat in Lisbon! Ramiro relies heavily on butter + grease for flavor and ultimately fails to live up to expectations. read more
Absolutely delicious! As a Maryland girl, I maintain that no one does a better crab. Then I left the United States to visit Portugal where I had amazing crab. We had the crab dip dish. Can't recall the name but it's inside the crab shell and you use bread to eat if. We also had prawns which were so juicy. I requested melted butter to go with my shrimp. The wait can be very long but the system for entering your name is cool. They have a machine on the outside where you enter the number of people in your party and in your preferred language. If I make it back to Lisbon, I'll definitely eat here again! read more

Established as a "Pasture House" in 1956 it was as a result of customer demand that Seafood became the focus of Cervejaria Ramiro years later, and after 65 years managed by the same family there remains no more famous Restaurant in Portugal than the three-story space at Avenida Almirante Reis 1 where a queue is always present. Certainly not Lisbon's only Cervejaria, or "Brewery" in English, Ramiro has nonetheless earned international acclaim thanks to its combination of sourcing and service, sustained popularity amongst locals despite Bourdain-induced tourism described simply by a native as "because it is the best." Expanded now to the building next door, overflow to a bustling space where service achieves spectacular results amidst what appears to be chaos, it was at 19h00 that two guests were seated at a communal table on the first floor to taste Lisbon's freshest Seafood alongside two styles of locally made Beer from Sangres. Casual in the best way, paper lined tables immediately topped in piles of Toast to sop up Sauces, ordering was deferred to a local gourmand who started things off with plump seasonal Barnacles followed by Spiny Dye Murex whose creature and Offal were removed from the Shell via specially-designed hook. Famed for an impressive price-quality ratio, "Camarão da nossa costa" chosen instead of more familiar Tiger Shrimp, Clams in traditional Broth arrived aromatic with a great story of their inception while Spider Crab selected from a live tank required a mallet to eat appendages plus extra bread to devour a stew inside the carapace. Fast-paced but unhurried, each plate finished prior to the arrival of another, "Dessert" at Ramiro takes on another meaning thanks to a barely-seared Steak Sandwich with the texture of Tartare and just a bit of Onion to be eaten with or without Mustard. read more
An absolute must-try culinary experience in Lisbon. The food is amazing and well worth the wait. The shellfish is fresh and served up rather quickly. I'd recommend any and everything on the menu ... But if forced to make a decision, the Giant Tiger Prawns would be my pick. We had a party of four and everybody thought one of the dishes was the best. "Even the bread was good" - my mom. Service is spectacular. Friendly, cordial and just down right nice. read more
Seafood overload in the best way possible! The huge Tiger Shrimp are meaty, great texture and come with nice drizzle of Olive Oil. Similar taste to Lobster. The Scarlet Shrimp are a must! Garlic Clams are garlicky and great for soaking your bread into! Edible Crab is great too that includes the claws and legs. Come early because it gets busy quick. Great and very friendly service. I post this review purely by the places popularity so I must! This a crazy house, we walked in without reservation however right after 5 minutes the crowd started to build up...so we were very lucky. To get our server's attention you have to catch him at the right moment, and there was no time to discuss what exactly you need on the menu and there was no menu except a digital bar code, no time and as long as you order something....all foods were pretty much standard but there are restaurants out there can achieve the same way however our friends recommended this place again and again so we must comply! Should we come back, like I said it was an adventure maybe not be necessary repeat. read more
We had a really great seafood feast here! It gets pretty crowded so I would recommend making a reservation. Everything was cooked so well and was so delicious. We had the crab, clams, giant prawns, and even barnacles, which I did not know were edible! I love that they give you buttered bread to dip in all of the sauces. Service was quick and attentive. Garlic clams: this was amazing. The clams were perfectly seasoned with the garlic and cooked perfectly. Barnacles Interesting! Be careful eating this because the juices get everywhere if you do not know how to twist them correctly lol. The texture and taste reminded us of muscles. Bread with butter: this was just a regular toasted bread with butter on top. Edible crab: This was huge. The crab tasted like mixed with eggs, mayo and crab. The crab legs were great they gave you a board and a hammer to break the shell so you can get more meat. Service was fast and the interior was clean. We got there around 6 PM and there was no wait we got seated very quickly! If we have time will definitely be back to try the giant prawns and the steak sandwich. read more

I came here with my family for dinner after many recommendations from friends who have been in Lisbon before and this was by far my favorite meal! It was definitely worth the one hour wait. We got a ticket and sat at the waiting area where we ordered some drinks and bread. The bread was amazing. It was a nice waiting area and not too hard to find a seat. We got our table within an hour and quickly ordered our food. We got oysters which were good but not amazing. The items that stood out to me the most were the large tiger prawns, garlic shrimp, garlic clams, and prego sandwich. They ran out of razor clams by the time we got there which was around 9 PM. We also ordered goose barnacles which seem unappetizing at first but they are a rarity in Portugal so we decided to give it a try. The waiter explained how to eat them and they were pretty tasty. I probably would not order them again but they are definitely worth a try! Overall this restaurant is worth the wait and money. You won't regret coming here at all! read more
What can be said that hasn't already been said about Ramiro. My advice for you is to go before 5. It's an early dinner but there is absolutely no wait. And sometimes you can expect to wait up to an hour. Definitely get the bread and butter. You'll need it to soak up all the seafood sauce. Edible crab was effin great. Get it where they already broke the crab and mixed in the guts and meat for you. No work for you to do. Slap it on bread and go to heaven. The clams were great. The Scarlett shrimp was fantastic. If you had an awesome server like we did, they would cut it up and leave a pool of shrimp stock for you. The giant tiger prawn is also excellent. This place is worth the wait and it wasn't even all that expensive. read more
Came here for dinner around 9pm. They said it's one hour wait. Walked around and came back. Kind of hard to tell what number it is since it's not displayed anywhere. I was seated upstairs (which of note the wifi doesn't work there). Takes a while for them to get you the menu which is on an iPad. It's very basic and hard to tell what the dish will look like or difference between shrimp. Most also are displayed as market price so hard to tell how much it is. They bring you out bread with garlic but you are paying for it which they don't tell you but it's good with seafood so keep. For mains I got the garlic shrimp. Comes sizzling hot and has lots of oil and garlic to dip in. Delicious! Best I had in area. I also got the king prawn cause of course! Came with a huge prawn split in too. Sooo tasty and meaty. Easily best shrimp I ever had. Very worth the price and wait. read more

Ramiro is a must for any & every shellfish lover! The restaurant is truly an unique experience as it's geared towards anything & everything shellfish. (Like, they legit don't have anything else.) I highly recommend going early around 5 or 6PM before the dinner rush. My girlfriend & I were able to choose our table, pick indoor or outdoor, with no wait, without a rez... just by arriving earlier. The staff is so sweet. Friendly, professional, attentive. They walked us through the menu, while making recommendations. We settled on the edible crab, giant prawns & lemon sorbet w/ vodka for dessert. Edible crab was delish & unexpected. A must order. It's basically a giant stone crab served chilled w/ the insides mixed up into a creamy dip, also served chilled. My parents always told me not to eat the insides... but apparently, they're "edible." I mainly dipped bread into the crab goo. My girl loved it. Grilled prawns were huge. I couldn't finish mine; it was so filling. One prawn is more than enough to share, as it's split in half. Prawns were served w/ lemon to drizzle. Lemon sorbet w/ vodka was everything. Such a simple delight. The sorbet comes out & then the waiter pours Smirnoff vodka on top. The perfect alcoholic dessert. I recommend. We also ordered a bottle of Mateus rosé champagne. It cost 11€ for 4-5€ bottle. I didn't know it was such a cheap champagne & thought we were getting a good deal on wine. Turns out it's over 100% markup but it was still a nice touch to dinner. The waiter placed the bottle on ice at our table & served it throughout the meal. It was such a great, memorable experience! A fun seafood spot! Recommended by our Airbnb host in Lisbon, we headed to this spot on our last day in Portugal. It's not located directly in the "downtown" area of the city where more of the touristy stuff is located (not a bad thing at all) so it took us about a 12 min Uber. Once you're there you get a number on an electronic kiosk and we waited for about 30 minutes at 6pm on a Sunday night. We ordered garlic shrimp, edible crab, Tiger prawns, steak sandwich solely based on fellow Yelp reviews. My favorite item of the order was Tiger prawns, yum!!! If you love seafood, then Ramiro is definitely a must-visit when in Lisbon. We heard that the wait for a table can be multiple hours, so we showed up at 11:30 am and were seated shortly after they opened at noon. There's a self-service beer dispenser (requires a 2 Euro coin) that we helped ourselves to while waiting. There were about 30 people waiting when they opened - everyone who was present before opening was seated. In addition to the paper menu, they have an iPad with photos and English translations - making the ordering process pretty easy. We ordered an enormous amount of seafood, including the crab (with the top shell completely full of crab butter/roe) and tiger prawns, and a giant 1.5kg grilled lobster - which was brought to our table for our approval before being grilled. Everything was cooked perfectly and was fantastic. read more
Absolutely delicious, this place is a must eat. If you don't come here in the time you're in Lisbon, you've missed out! We really enjoyed the crab and the garlic shrimp, and the bread is so delicious as well. They will charge you for any bread they put on the table, so if you don't want extra servings, stop them before they put it down! The wait can be pretty long so make sure you make a reservation. read more

This was one of the best seafood places my sister & I have eaten at. It is worth the wait, even though the line is horrendous. I highly recommend not coming here at night time, but rather when the shop opens or around lunch time. On our first attempt, we came after 11pm right after we landed thinking that there would be less people (since the restaurant closes at 12:30am) but we were wrong! There were more than 50 people on the list before us. Second attempt, we came in a little after lunch time & waited 10 minutes and got in. On non-busy times, open the door and go inside and alert the staff who is in charge of writing down your name on the paper list. On busy times, you have to go find the electronic tablet on a table near the door & enter your information on it to get your ticket number. Once you get your ticket number, you have to constantly view it on this tiny electronic board which is near the door. Once you are inside, the delicious aroma hits all your senses. The staff was all nice & friendly, and spoke English. They give you the menu (which is on the electronic tablet) and you can view it in the language you've selected. The menu had so much wonderful choices, but we chose and ordered: 1) bread that had garlic butter on it, 2) garlic clams, 3) tiger prawn, 4) scarlet prawn, 5) edible crab, 6) bifana sandwich, 7) tall glass of cold Sagres beer. Our most favorites were the bread (necessary to soak up the delicious sauces from the seafoods), garlic clams, edible crab, tiger prawn & Sagres beer. They were all so delicious & fresh! Our least favorie was the scarlet prawn as it was a bit raw and tasted weird when we ate it (maybe they were busy and it was undercooked?). The bifana sandwich was good, but compared to the others it was not our favorite (sandwich was a bit hard to chew). Nonetheless, the foods were so delicious, staff were friendly. Ramiro lives up to the hype shown on all the tv shows it's featured in as it will be some of the best seafood you'll have. Being so hyped, be sure to make a reservation if you can or come early. Otherwise it'll be a long wait, but they have beer in the waiting area. Once seated, you are handed a iPad menu. Would recommend the Scarlett shrimp for sure. At $20 a piece it isn't cheap but it is gigantic and delicious. The garlic clams and tiger prawns are solid. You can also get barnacles here - would recommend a little bit as a sampler. The couvert is garlic bread, good for soaking up some seafood juices. Many others got crab too which comes with a little mallet and mallet board. Definitely a worthwhile experience. read more

Best seafood ever!! This place serves crustaceans only- so keep that in mind. Very reasonably priced, market price by pound. I tried barnacles, they were ok, worth the try. The garlic shrimp was amazing, same with the crab + sauce. Come here! Extra points for the beer candy ball machine thing :-P read more
If you love seafood, this is must try in Lisbon. Be sure to make reservations as they get insanely busy. You will be required to put down a credit card with with a €25 per person charge that will be applied to your bill, well worth it if you don't want to wait. If you decide to walk in, they have a number system that seems to be really efficient and a lounge/bar were you can wait. The staff is really nice but you have to be loud to get their attention has they all seem to be running around taking orders, fetching seafood and bring plates to tables. Some dishes are a fixed price, but many are by weight so you can direct them on how large of a portion you want. The tables are really tight knitted together and you will probably be gaining new friends while you dine here. Everything is very fresh but my favorites were the garlic shrimp and clams. Don't forget to prego for dessert, weird if you have a sweet tooth but it's a must try! read more

Got last minute reservations thanks to our concierge at The Ivens which I would have no problems staying at again as the staff and facilities were exemplary! Seated immediately and service and food were no nonsense. The food (SHELLFISH) and service were as advertised and well deserved. Food came super quickly and quality was as fresh as had been described. The giant tiger prawns were legitimate and true prawns unlike US standards which they call large shrimp prawns. Pricey but not unreasonable. Servers were all super helpful and kind given the extent our Portuguese was 'obrigado'....special shout out to our Argentinian server! The ambiance was energetic with mostly tourists having memorable experiences which is why we all travel! read more
What a celebration of seafood! I appreciated the interactive touch screen menu, which tells you the price of the various dishes and how many pieces you will get per order. I believe there were about 5 or so languages to accommodate as many tourists as possible. Our party of 4 were hungry and ready to eat so we ordered a feast, including: - shrimp in garlic and oil: succulent medium-sized shrimps with chunks of garlic and delicious oil. Make sure to dip your bread in the sauce! - fresh oysters: Big and fresh! No cocktail sauce offered here - be prepared to appreciate sea flavors. - clams in garlic and parsley sauce: I wished the clam meat was infused more with the oil, but still pretty good. - edible crab: large Dungeness crab for your eating pleasure! The shell meat was already prepared for you and you can smear it as pate on your bread. We were told that the trick to opening the crab legs is to place them under a napkin and hammer away. - tiger prawns: totally instagrammable and absolutely delicious. It tastes as good as it looks - scrumptious chewiness of shrimp and a lovely char/spices on the shell. Yum! We also loved the vibe here - our waiter was very personable and funny. 4.25 stars. Ramiro was probably one of the more touristy spots I went to for dinner in Portugal, but I don't care. It is downright delicious. First, I'd suggest making sure you make a reservation beforehand so there aren't any issues with your seating. It seems like you otherwise may have to wait awhile (apx 1-2 hrs) for people to finish eating. Let's just say I was glad to get that reservation well beforehand. You are here (mostly) for seafood. We hit up some of the more common orders: garlic shrimp, clams, spider crab, edible crab, (some other crab that you had to break yourself that I didn't try), barnacles, two steak sandwiches (which are the house "dessert" apparently) and black pig leg (Portuguese pata negra which is by far the best pig I've eaten). Of those, the spider crab really stands out. You get nice clusters of crab legs which are outstanding plus they create a (really salty but tasty) stew of the remainder of the crab which sops up well with the accompanying buttered bread. I also thought the barnacles and clams were quite good. Of the meat, the pata negra continues to stand out in Portugal. I recommend ordering it whenever you can. I'll certainly see if I can special order it from Central Market now that I'm back home in Texas (for those of you in San Antonio, you can get a really close version at Enrique Tomas). But I digress. If you have some extra cash and/or a large group, shell out for the lobster and the giant tiger prawns. We were running out of belly space in a group of three people, but I do think it was a shame that I didn't try either of these items. I was let down by this place because I wasn't a huge fan of the food options and service. From a COVID perspective, they did a great job. Temperature checks, hand sanitizer, oxygen monitors... The food: it was really hard for us to interpret the menu. We didn't know or understand the differences in the crab and shrimp for example. The service was really rushed so we felt like we ordered things and didn't know what the other options were. The food overall was good, but it was really expensive. I also didn't like that they didn't have non fish sides even. Also that a meat sandwich was dessert. I don't eat meats usually which is why we even choice a seafood place. Service: super rushed. We ordered a bottle of wine and didn't even get close to finishing it because they rushed taking the order and getting out food and then dropping the bill. read more

A must when in Lisbon!! You have to make sure to make a reservation - note, you will be asked to pay €25pp. This is non-refundable but will be applied to your bill. We had a bottle of vinho verde; bread; percebes (barnacles) which was surprisingly succulent and flavorful. We also had clams in garlic & olive oil; shrimp with with garlic; we had the giant prawns and crab meat. For dessert, we had prego. Service was amazing!
