My friend and I decided to make the time for a stay here. Easy enough we made reservations through Expedia for the hotel stay. We arrived and found a parking lot marked for the hotel. It was gates with a security guard 24/7. I was impressed with the parking situation, it was clean & well lit. Only negative about the parking there is no hallway or connection directly to the hotel. We had to walk around the block. Once we got the front of the hotel we were greeted by a pleasant security guard. The lobby was cool from working air conditioning. It was decorated in what I imagine is what it looked like when it was first operating. As we checked in, I could not stop admiring the look of the hotel all together. We got our keys & proceeded to gather our belongings to go to our room. This where we lost our enthusiasm for this adventure. NO ELEVATOR, weird stair/walkways & non existent A/C in the upper hallways. The room numbers were numbered odd as well. Once we got to the room the AC took a long time to cool the room. The room itself was very clean, decent TV & clean bathroom. The front desk lady was okay - just okay. She checked us in & was no help after. Any requests for toiletries seemed ridiculous to her. I read previous reviews before my stay, and I'm happy to report that most concerns have been addressed. Waters are provided, and the place is well-polished. My room was on the third floor, facing El Centenario, offering views of the border and the hotel's casino sign--totally a vibe at night! WiFi access and a smart TV for streaming were available, making my stay comfortable. Although I was offered a top-floor room, I preferred a renovated room, which was perfect. Extra blankets in the closet, clean and organized restrooms, and great water pressure made my stay even better. No mini fridge, but it wasn't needed. The staff at the Lobby was very kind and accommodating, the service alone has convinced me to return again for future visits. We had dinner to the right of the lobby and ordered the ribeye tacos, & chicken breast with a side salad. We had vouchers for discounted drinks gifted by the hotel and overall I highly recommend it. I'm surprised the ratings are low. If anyone is unhappy with the dinner I highly suggest, ask the staff "What would you order?" My server for dinner was Manuel and all his recommendations are a solid 5/5. It's in the same area near the lobby, not a buffet, sit down with a menu. Breakfast is free with the stay. I also noticed this restaurant makes it a point to serve beverages that are good for your health. Prior to breakfast they served us a warm glass of lemon water before we started our meal. There's also a selection of fresh juices, I selected the green juice; with cactus, pineapple, spinach, lemon water, and yes it had all of that in it. There's other juices available but that seems to be the most health conscious one out of the three. I ordered the Veracruz breakfast and it was absolutely delectable. In the evening I hung out on the 4th floor where they have a nice roof top pool, jacuzzi, bar, garden, etc. They also offer Yoga early morning and provide the mats and blocks needed. I wanted to try it out but it seemed my coworker wasn't interested in any of the activities offered. I wanted to make sure my coworker had a nice impression of our medical visit. I did however order two beds and was charged for a two bed unit online and I have a feeling they thought I was married to my coworker. I did not complain and used the couch instead. I was tired and just wanted to relax. My only reasoning for a 4 out of 5. I highly suggest if you come with someone you're sharing space with to definitely add that in your notes when booking. I was only there for one night and did not want to make a big deal out of it. Additional information: they do offer secure parking and a pass to easily navigate in and out of the premises.

The staff made us feel comfortable and safe throughout our stay. The hotel has everything you need--multiple restaurants and bars, a casino, beautiful swimming pool, room service. A special shout-out to Daniel at the casino bar! We had no idea how to get a player's card or add money so we could play, and he walked us through everything. He was always friendly and quickly learned our drinks, remembering them throughout our stay. Such a nice personal touch! The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of toiletries and amenities. We also had dinner at Emma, the French restaurant inside the hotel, and it was beyond fabulous--gourmet food, great ambiance, and excellent service. We love it, have stayed before and if we can get over the darn border we will go again. We miss it. The hotel is large, in a good area and the rooms are nice. They have great room service and we love their eatery. There are nice places to walk nearby or you can grab a cab. The staff is super nice and does speak English. I've stayed in La Mansion, Motel Premier, El Paraiso, and others. This motel, even though is further from the border is as nice as La Mansion, but very affordable. I like this motel because the WiFi is good and reliable, which helps me whenever I have work to do. This last weekend they had a problem with their WiFi and I wasn't able to do work. Unfortunately, the Internet connection is what brings me here. I was upset and the staff understood. I was thinking of leaving somewhere else, but they moved me to another room that had some WiFi connectivity (WiFi was spotty in some areas). They went out of their way to make sure I got what I needed and that to me meant a lot. This is why I'm giving them a 5 star review. The rooms are clean, quiet, and nice. The prices are better than Motel 6, even though I go there on the weekends. For anyone wanting to get the best bang for you buck, this is the place. I highly recommend it.

I'm a U.S. Army veteran who was exposed to biotoxins affecting my immune system. I'm in Tijuana getting treatment at bioadvanced medical center with Dr Calzada. In their elevators they have synthetic perfume sprayers constantly bombing the elevator making me sick. I asked them to shut them off. They did NOT. I have to walk 3 flight of stairs to go to and from my room. I can't recommend this hotel if you're sick going to BMC. I'm staying at your hotel because it's supposed to be high quality. Your treadmills in fitness center are very OLD. 2 are broken. A third sounds like it's getting ready to break. You need new treadmills. You can buy 4 high quality treadmills online that have been refurbished from Planet Fitness or other fitness centers. Out of respect for your customers please get new treadmills ASAP! I will increase the rating when you get new treadmills and shut off toxic synthetic perfume sprayers in elevators.

Hotel check in was easy and the many lovely amenities were very well explained. The staff member checking us in even asked what my pronouns were! I don't get that level of kindness most of the time from anyone in Los Angeles. The room is clean and comfortable. They were even so kind as to accommodate clean mini fridge for our food items. I called two weeks ago requesting a mini fridge and it was in the notes for our reservation. They realized this after we checked in and had a bellhop, a very kind gentleman named Fernando who had helped us with our bags earlier, personally carry the whole mini fridge up to our room and install it. The hotel has complimentary WiFi that's not password protected so I made sure to keep my VPN on because I'm neurotic like that. One thing I will report is that I couldn't find a wall port to plug in an ethernet cable in the room to set up my TP-Link Travel Router. Not a big deal at all because I'm probably the only person who would try to do something like that while on vacay anyway. Long story short, this place is probably the nicest hotel my wife and I have stayed at in our 13 years together. I slept like a baby on night one, and I look forward to the rest of our stay here.
