Hotel Caesar's, with the famous Caesar's Restaurant embedded below.

It's a fine 100 year old hotel that's been very nicely renovated and well maintained. Reminds me of some European boutique hotels, but without the customary breakfast. The rooms are small but very clean and well-appointed. My only complaint is that the bed sheets are not very soft and good quality. But there are plenty of nice pillows and the matress comfortable.

A few friends and I came down here to try the original Ceasar salad so if you're going to compare your Ceasar salad to any other Ceasar salad this is the one to compare it too. For starters I'm not big on salads nor veggies. So I was more excited about the history rather than the salad itself. The restaurant looked great, tons of seating inside, they have outdoor seating that is covered, it's very elegant you can see the old charm and class here. The staff is very professional, friendly and helpful if you have questions. With that being said I ordered the Ceasar salad you can order 3 or 5 leaves and they prepare it table side and explain every ingredient going into the salad. I have to say it was one of the best salads I've had. Best Ceasar salad I've had and I'll be back for more in the future. They of course have a full menu with meat, pasta etc if you don't want salad.

Sign in the room clearly states checkout is 11. However, they give a 1 hour tolerance. Otherwise you are charged a day. I get a call at 11:01 saying either to leave immediately or pay another night. So I left immediately. Hotel Ticuan is the much better option. I will be in TJ a lot over the next year. 1 hour cost them all my business

Nicely renovated hotel the rooms are small yet very clean the Bathroom modern. The bed comfortable and the TV had the ability to Cast (smart TV) I wish American hotels had this perk for TV entertainment. Be aware NO elevator yet there is help to take your belongs to your room. Pricing is fair and the staff friendly. BTW we took a cab from the border. More about what we were doing there

Small and simple yet nice and elegant rooms.

On a Saturday at 6am, the room started shaking and vibrating due to an industrial truck pumping sewage or unclogging a main sewage line in the middle of the courtyard next to my room. The infernal noise and vibration was only masked by the stench of sewage that permeated through my room. There was no warning this would happen. When I called the reception, they had no clue as to how long the sewage works would last. By 8am I decided to just leave the room.

We went to Tijuana for the day and came here as our first stop. This is where the original Caesar salad was invented, so of course we had to order that. We also shared the patatas bravas, escargot, and the carne asada plate. We received complimentary slices of a small baguette with tapenade. If you like olives, this dip is for you! The patatas bravas and escargot were both pretty good appetizers! I'm so glad we ordered the carne asada because the meat was so tender and tasty. We kept waiting for the Caesar salad, but there was some miscommunication, so we didn't have it made table-side until the end of our meal. It was very cool to watch them add all of the ingredients. I never liked this salad until now- the portion was kind of small, but the salad was full of flavor! If this is how Casear salad is supposed to taste like, I've been missing out! We were saving our appetite for the next stop, but I would be happy to return and get the salad again, among other items on the menu.

He asked when am I getting out aggressively like I'm a drug addict squatter in their property who's been there an entire month without paying . He also threatened to take away my 60 dollar security deposit since I said I will clocking out at 11:50am. I checked out at 11:50am and told the maid and the manager I will not be using their motel anymore because they treated me like some drug addict squatter in their property when I only stayed an extra 20 minutes. They only give a 30 min grace period when all other hotels standard give at least an hour grace period. If you don't abide by that they steal your security deposit . Stay away from this place they don't accommodate late night travelers . They think all people clocking in late at night are criminals and drugs addicts and give aggressive treatment to kick you out. I stayed a little longer till 12:35pm and the manager called 3 cops to kick out other tenants. Don't stay at this establishment

Drinks were good but a bit expensive.   If you are a couple who want to be in the downtown TJ area to experience nightlife, this might be the place for you.  However, the hotel doesn't have its own parking, as it is off-site, not oriented for families or those who have difficulties moving around or in need of ramps.

Cons: *No way to cancel rooms. *Rooms are a little pricey for the location. *No free continental breakfast. Just some small cakes and postre at the reception desk. *Bed sheet had stains. *Pillows are too soft. *Bed mattress was okay, I prefer firm mattress. *The room I stayed in had a huge square hole on top of the closet. *You have to park your vehicle at the 24-hour Sorianas Parking Lot. It appears to have no security, so park at your own risk. *Hotel is not exactly located at a great location, I witnessed a robbery and an on foot cop chase. *Loud music that you can hear in your room until around 2:00 am. But it's not too uncomfortable. *Can hear doors slam from other rooms. Final thoughts, I would definitely recommend it, and I will stay again.

But hey it's a brothel hotel so we should already be expecting that. Compared to other brothel hotels I've been to around the world this one is very nice lol They have been trying to improve it though. They built newer rooms with nicer decorations and refrigerators, updated the restaurant Azul that's attached to it, and have comment cards for you to write comments and suggestions which I don't think anyone reads lol They make you give a $30 deposit if you get one of the newer rooms for the drinks that are in the refrigerator in case you drink any. Also a separate $10 deposit for the remote of the tv. The older rooms are shitty so sucks if you get stuck with one of those cause they have been being fully booked a lot recently. Another thing to note is that when you walk up without a reservation they almost always tell you they are sold out. It's always noisy too so don't think you're gonna get good night sleep here. Sound of high heels walking down the hallways at all hours of the night, drunk fuckers being loud and making noise while walking in the hallways as well. So it's hard to relax unless you're really far away but still then always someone making noises or moans from fucking. The walls are thin lol There are 2 entrances. One on the red light side where the street girls are and the one in the front main entrance for hk. You can exit hk on either side and go up with a girl so it's still convenient. If you wanna go up low key with a girl and not let the whole club see you then go out the back entrance. Less eyes and you won't be seen doing the walk of shame back into the club haha enjoy!
