When I pulled in and saw how many vehicles were in the lot I wondered if they would be able to do the body and paint work on our Ariya. I met with Steve and he and two others from his team came out and looked at the damage. Steve explained to me that both doors would need to be painted so that the color would match correctly as my damage was close to the edge of the front door also. He walked me through the process, told me how much and how long it would take. We scheduled my drop-off and he communicated with me during the job. Car was delivered 100% looking great and absolutely on time. When I went to drop the car off, the same lot only had a few vehicles in it- they had fixed and completed the work on most all of them that week. Just picked up our vehicle. The folks here were kind, attentive, communicative, and the repair looks perfect to my eyes. I went through insurance, so I can't comment on their prices necessarily, since I was more concerned with the thoroughness and quality of the repair on my nearly new vehicle. But they did give me a nice discount on my deductible which I appreciated. I'll update my review if there are any issues down the road, but as of now I can highly recommend them. I broke my passenger side mirror foolishly in a parking lot. It was dangling pathetically. The side of the door had damaged as well. Like all Tesla cars, the rims on the car had been scraped too. I tried to book the Tesla recommended body shops but to no avail they were booked out months in advance and I didn't want to keep driving with the dangling mirror. I put in a Yelp request for bids. I got many interest. I chose 3 to get bids (to go in person and have them look at my car for the estimate) based on Yelp reviews and ratings. NAC was the last one I decided to get looked at and for them to give me an estimate cuz it was the furthest from my home. Well I chose them because the estimate was competitive but the real reason is that during that estimate visit, they took the time to zip tie and tape my dangling mirror so it wouldn't further damage and also mirror became functional again. Those little details really show cases that a company cares about the little things. No other bids even offered to do that. One bid came in at 4times higher for the rims. NAC did an excellent job on the repair and as they promised timelines. It looks brand new! The people are so nice and friendly. The follow ups are prompt. The quality of work is really nice. I had my front bumper ruined and needed to find a reliable mechanic. Last time I had it done from a mechanic near me and they did a decent job but the bumper was slightly popped out and I didn't say anything because it wasn't a huge deal, but after an accident I had, the front bumper complete popped and luckily it was some dents and then the headlight system failed. I had a large scratch on my EV I wanted fixed, and they did a fantastic job and you could never tell it ever happened. I spent hours searching online for a good repair shop. After sifting through many fake reviews and numerous negative comments, I found National Auto Collision. Their reviews appeared real and credible. I live in Seattle, and they are located in Kent, so it's a bit of a drive for me to reach them, but I can assure you they are worth the trip. Alex helped me get a free repair quote for damage caused to my Ioniq 5 by the dealership. Alex and the rest of the staff were friendly, very understanding of my situation, and eager to assist, even though the dealer chose to handle the repairs themselves. Because of this experience, when I tried to squeeze my car into a parking spot that was too tight and damaged my driver's side rearview mirror, I drove straight to them. Alex assessed the damage within an hour of it happening and helped me get a more than fair quote for the repair, explaining all my options and suggesting what he felt would be the best route to take. I paid for half of the repair that day to order the part. The office staff informed me about the part delivery and scheduled the repair for the same day they received it. I always recommend this shop to my friends. One often overlooked but important aspect of a body shop is their ability and willingness to go to bat against the insurance company for you. I've had friends go to other shops and end up with a bill from the shop for the items the insurance wouldn't pay. I've never had a bill from NAC over my deductible and Steve even got the insurance to pay for new parts when the insurance initially wanted to just pay for just a repair of the damaged part. My car was damaged in a hit and run while parked in a parking garage. The person wasn't caught. I have a 2016 BMW 5-Series that I have kept in immaculate condition so I was very picky in what company I wanted to make the repairs. Like most of you, I turned to Yelp for auto body repair shops. National Auto Collision was at the top of Yelps listings. Over 120 5-star reviews. I read the reviews and looked at the pictures showcasing their work and I was set on having National Auto Collision perform the repairs. I sent a message to them through Yelp and the Owner, Steve, was very responsive. He messaged me back right away and explained that they are very busy and needed to make an appt to inspect the car. I was fine with that because "you get what you pay for" and I wanted the best. Steve gave me a "drop off date" and even though I was nervous because my insurance carrier gave me this ridiculous lowball estimate for the damages, Steve reassured me to not worry. That they would conduct the tear down and send a secondary estimate to my insurance. I dropped my car off and Steve told me not to worry. That he will take care of everything, and he absolutely did. He kept me updated with weekly text messages and phone calls. There was actually a delay in the repairs because one of the pieces need for repairs came in with damages and Steve refused it. That was amazing to me. It's like he was treating my car as if it was his own. And just like me, he wanted perfection. Steve sent me pictures after the repairs were made and I was completely satisfied. My car looks like new where it was damaged. I have a very special paint color on my car and Steve and his painters were able to match it perfectly. I'm very happy with the result and cannot give enough kudos to Steve and his team.
