Tim isn't reliable. He had Julia work on my computer on 7.28.22. When she quit all repairs were working. Now Outlook email is royally screwed & my computer doesn't recognize my printer. Tim REFUSED to correct the problems his employee created & hung up on me. At $110/hour you can't rely on CET Computer Magic to resolve your issues. Just registerd complaint with the BBB read more

I am in the business and I came from out of town and needed my external hard drive repaired. I took it to this group and while they could not fix it I trusted their abilities. And they promised that if they can't get your data it's free. I recommend them and their skills. Found them trust worthy read more

A locally owned computer repair shop with friendly and experienced service! You just don't find places like this anymore. They guys were great and really knew their stuff. I had a simple keyboard replacement done in just a couple days. My buddy called them on a Saturday. They wern't open but since they were there they had him come in and recovered a hard drive for only $35. Skip the big box and bring your repairs here! read more

Tim Grier and his team of professional with CET Computer Magic are second to none! These guys are always super friendly and ready to help with excellent customer service. In fact, they have helped me on more than one occasion and have provided sound expert advice, and repaired items for me at a very reasonable cost, as well as advised me on replacement ideas. History

Established in 2007.

CET Computer Magic was started in 2007 by a vocational education teacher from the Mooresville School System after ten years of teaching at N F Woods Advanced Technology and Arts Center in Mooresville. Today, CET Computer Magic has three on-staff technicians based out of our Mooresville "state of the art" lab facility and office, partners with several Lake Norman area businesses from network installers to software as service providers and clean room facilities.

Meet the Business Owner: Tim G.

Tim is a native of the Lake Norman area, attended North Mecklenburg High School and the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. He's a US Air Force veteran who served as a Russian Linguist and Electronic Computer and Switching System Maintenance Technician. He worked for GTE Government Systems as a trainer for the United States Army all over the world and taught at Mitchell Community College and N F Woods Advanced Technology and Arts Center for Mooresville Graded Schools.

The worst, had to move twice in between courses, charged for items that had nothing to do with me. The school gives you material that is either outdated or has nothing to do with your future career(engineering stuff). The system they use(blackboard) is mediocre. Doctors notes are approved based on what they feel like. Was made to sign into their updated program claiming I didn't have a choice and was extended another 3 weeks. This school is atrocious, a few of the instructors have questionable professionalism, if you have a grievance they don't listen nor follow through on talking about it. Doesn't matter what you got going on, they do not care. UTI is overpriced, you're better off taking classes at a community college. They lie off the get go.

Yep you better make sure you know who invented this type of welding or this type or else you gotta retake the course alllll over again. The only enjoyable part was mr miller cause he was cool and funny and a genuinely good teacher and thats it The other instructors were alright aswell as far as i could see But thats about it Just go to a community college They teach more for cheaper And this one (at least when i was there) didn't even teach pipe welding Went to a community college and from the second day in class all it was was hands on welding in every position you can think of Not this school

The price increased doubled. Call to get a refund because services were never rendered they said no because I accessed the site while I signed up. So I'm out my money and have to pay another 1500+ to take the course I paid for already. All because their price increase. They then took those chunks and organized them in a way that it all makes sense in my head whereas before I could understand any individual concept but felt like I was swimming in a sea of concepts that didn't add up to anything. Also, my instructor John was super nice, well spoken, easy to understand and seemed to genuinely care that all of us learned the content. He's someone I hope to keep in touch with longer term.

Not only do they teach valuable trade skills, but I have also seen them provide job placement assistance after graduation. Without a doubt, it is the greatest trade school in Charlotte, North Carolina.

IF you take voice lessons from them, your child will get a lead role EVERY TIME. The same handful of children for EVERY PERFORMANCE. In other words, you must pay extra for them to get a lead role and it's very obvious. I'm not saying my child is THE best, but well qualified for a lead role "once in a while". After every performance, they tell us what a great job she does and that they "would really love to see her take voice lessons with us". I refuse to "buy" her a lead role. She takes voice lessons elsewhere with a professional and has a great voice so that is not the issue. The issue is that we aren't paying Masterworks. A lot of times after an audition with 20+ kids, within a couple hours they send out an email with the roles which only confirms that the roles were already decided on. I'm not sure why they even hold the auditions. Very disappointing and would change to another theatre in a heartbeat if not for my daughter. She loves her friends and is okay with and understands their process. She just tells me to not pay extra for her a lead role!

To start, they overprice all of their camps and classes and that is the least of their problems. Personally, I am confident in my singing and acting. I believe and have been told by multiple people (family, friends, and professionals) that I am very good and have a true talent. With masterworks you can get good roles by being good but you truly will only ever get leads if you take their voice lessons and pay more money (the voice lessons doing you no help at all if not making you sound worse). I never got a lead and they straight up told me it was because I did not take voice lessons with the company. Second, these teachers are probably some of the most dreadful, insensitive people I have ever met. I recall one of them saying and I quote "I wanted to slit my wrists" referring to a run of a part of a show. This type of language and behavior and saying things like this should not be used around children and quite frankly should not be used at all as some people (myself included) can be triggered by this type of negative talk. I could go on and on about how horrible my experience with this company was but I will just end with this, do not support this company if you value your worth as a person, they will only belittle you and make you feel bad about yourself unless you pay them more money which trust me, will make you worse at acting, singing or whatever it is you want to achieve.

Owner calls, asks, then accuses me of cancelling my "ticket" and that he can no longer repair my phone. I drive all the way back to the repair shop and not only is my glass screen mutilated, my phone no longer works. So after half a day waiting for a simple screen replacement, MY WORKING CRACKED PHONE TURNED INTO A NON-FUNCTIONING PHONE. Beware of this shady place.

CET provided extremely great service and Tim and his staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Tim helped me with prior computer issues and always took the time to explain things and the necessary steps needed to correct the problem. And also how to avoid certain issues. This time around, I was given a loaner laptop with Widows 8, and in the process of setting it up I was somehow locked out. Ian was a pleasure to work with. Prior to CET even working on my pc, he was readily available to advise me on what exactly I needed in a pc (based on my needs). After Ian set up my pc, he spent about 45 minutes with me answering all my questions and explaining different functions I was not familiar with. I had a great experience working with this business. My computer hard drive crashed. CET replaced the hard drive and was able to restore the information on my hard drive.
