Andrew was very professional, nice, efficient and made sure I was safe. Of the 5 ppl I spoke with that evening he was the only person asking if I was ok. Andrew is an asset to your company. I found East Granby Motors after 3 months of searching online and at large dealerships. I wanted an older Subaru ('03-'05) that had all of the necessary work done. I checked out the used inventory at large Subaru dealerships in NH, MA and CT and found that they didn't know anything about the cars, charged outrageous processing fees ($800-$900) and offered no warranty! The used Subarus I found through private sellers were just as much of a hassle. I took 3 cars to independent mechanics to have pre-purchase inspections done. Every one of them found about $2K worth of work that would need to be done immediately. The last thing I wanted to do was buy a car and have to invest money into it right away. When I was in CT visiting family, I stumbled upon East Granby Motors' website and rushed over the next day. Not only did they have exactly what I was looking for (within my budget), but they also had a number of alternatives. It turns out I bought the first car I test drove. For the price of the car, Mike and his team changed the head gaskets, timing belt and water pump and did a complete overhaul of anything else that needed attention at no extra cost. He also took care to add anything he could to the car to make it more comfortable and appealing. On top of that, the car came with a 6 month bumper-to-bumper warranty and a 1 year warranty on the engine (seriously!). Finally, he worked with my (out-of-state) insurance agent to transfer my plates and insurance! After months of stress and frustration, Mike made my car buying experience truly positive. There were no winter restrictions in place yet they took the word of an overzealous HOA board member over the law. There is no excuse for blatantly ignoring the law. Law enforcement luckily provided us with the statues and a link to report this egregious act to the DMV. We called the police to report the car stolen and they were the ones who found out it was towed. A big shout out to law enforcement for protecting a citizens rights.
