Gerry took a look at it, pronounced it not a big deal and said he could easily fix it. I made an appointment and showed up first thing in the morning. When Ed (Gerry's brother) arrived, he examined it and told me he could fix it in five minutes. I think it took him three. And he did a beautiful job - scratch disappeared, looks like new again. The price? Well, I think it comes out to a lunch for Ed. Now, ours was really a minor job, but the professionalism of Gerry and Ed was so evident. They know their stuff and they are friendly and efficient in their work. If we needed serious body repair we would come here, and we would recommend them over anyone else we know of in this area. He really worked with me to fit the repair into my budget and I could NOT be more pleased with the results! Not only did they do a beautiful job painting my car, fixing a fender and cutting out and replacing a piece of my rear fender that was rusting, but they also fixed my headlights that had become foggy over time. [1] They sold me a Ford Thunderbird with dirty motor oil. I bought it to the service Department's attention and with an attitude the guy looked at my oil and saw that it was dirty but then he looked in his computer and saw that it was documented that they changed but then he looked in his computer and saw that it was documented that they changed my oil so obviously I'm lying but somehow my oil is dirty. Begrudgingly they scheduled an appointment to change my oil. I bring the car in I'm waiting around for a half hour and I see the car is still sitting outside in the parking lot. I asked how long is it going to take and they say oh about an hour. I left and Decided to pay to get the oil changed at an oil change place. [2] The roof leaks whenever it rains. [3] The air conditioning doesn't work. [4] The combination of problem number 2 and 3 above is that when it rains the inside of the car fogs up so bad that I can't drive. These people had no business selling this car to anybody. This car is not ready to be driven but they did sell it to me for $13,000. When I called up about these complaints the response I got on the phone was "well gee Evan you were kind of in a hurry to get the car" so it's my fault that they sold me a car that wasn't ready to be sold. Still waiting to hear back to see if they're going to do anything about these problems. When I looked over the carfax report I saw that it had three previous owners when I looked over the carfax report I saw that it had three previous owners and all three of them didn't hold on to the car for very long maybe I see now why. If this issue doesn't get resolved I go to dealer and repairs division and file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency State's Attorney as well as the Better Business Bureau.
