I can't remember since I only have to do this every 3-5 years. Maybe they changed buildings because the old one smelled like urine. But I'm also a fan because they made the continuing education I had to do painless. Prometric pretty much has a lock on the "testing" industry. I think nursing students and HVAC guys and stockbrokers like me go there for various testings and CE. Because they seem to have a monopoly on this kind of thing they could staff it with rude people and cut costs at every corner. They don't. The testing center is in the basement of an ugly late 70s/early 80s office building. But the place was well lit, the temperature was perfect. The two staff folks I had to deal with were nice. I showed up way to early in the hopes of getting started early and they accommodated me without making me feel like I've ruined their day. Years ago in the place that smelled like urine the staff was always grouchy. I hate urine-scented grouchiness.

I was new to the area and have taken a decent amount of Spanish at a community center in another city, I didn't want to jump into a class because I wasn't sure what level I'd be at and because I am in healthcare and was hoping for a more personal approach with some vocabulary built in specific to my work. Daniel is a wonderful teacher (and a very cool guy) - I've never felt uncomfortable speaking with him in Spanish or asking him any question. He's really helped me grasp some of the more difficult tenses as I'm moving into intermediate Spanish in a quick and easy way. He has excellent recommendations for ways to listen to Spanish (podcasts, movies, songs, etc) and provides opportunities to speak Spanish with natives as well! Also - you can take your lessons online via Skype as well - I was so glad to hear this feature was added, as I'll be able to continue my learning with the same great instructor even after I leave the area. She explained the entire process thoroughly and was just great to talk to. In the end I think we were in the studio for about an hour and a half or two hours. You are allowed to bring your own food and drinks but i would recommend sticking to just the drinks unless you want to eat clay or have crumbs on your vase. It was such a casual and fun low pressure experience that it made us want to become members so that we could come and create whenever we want. I will say that there is a giant dog in the studio and a cat that just wander around unleashed so if that bothers you maybe mention something before you get there or don't buy a ticket. ($100 per couple) The vases were ready for pickup in about a month so plan accordingly if you are doing this as an out of towner or are planning to move within the month after doing this. The Christ College is a JOKE! Advisors rarely interact with the student in building their courses…read more The college itself has nothing to assist students that need accommodations. Expect give you extra time on a test. There is not even an IEP plan!?! You're forced into buying online books ($1,500.00) that you won't even have access to after two years! The college builds itself as being "I am in the right place" when in fact you feel like you're in the WRONG place! Thus why a majority students leave after their first year. Positive side to it... the professors who teach the courses. That is the only good thing that this campus has to offer.
