I spent a lot of my time in the theater and music department with Mr. Peters, Mrs. Peters, and Mr. Ben Basone. These teachers inspired me to devote my life to the arts. I have emerged as a well rounded and driven adult who has become an actor, singer, stage manager, and now an arts marketer devoted to spreading the arts throughout. The class was held in Bldg 400, some 300 yards away. Finding Bldg 303 was not easy. There was a phone number to call, but they refuse to answer the phone. You can leave a msg, but they refuse to return the call. Others in the class reported the same experiences. Your tax dollars at work! I Googled the address, but had to try a few times because the street for Bldg 303 was not given. I got directions from Google, but then the directions told me to turn onto a one-way road, the wrong way. Give yourself extra time and take food and water.

There is a very dynamic service on Sunday mornings that does a good job of bringing the congregation together and keeping people from falling asleep. Her idea of political change was to write letters to government officials and I was always giving different and new ideas for social work. I literally couldn't do anything about being failed twice because my teacher was also my academic counselor. As a Social Work teacher her openness was very stunted and she did not appreciate diverse perspectives. She always was very unclear. The assignment that failed me TWICE she just gave me a zero, because it was "magical thinking". It was 10 pages long and I told her I narrowed it down from the 20 pages I had. The 10 pages was "not enough" while the 20 pages were "too much". If I could rate a zero I would.
