This was my second time going In here, it was suggested by a friend. The first time I went In I inquired about a specific gun that had just came out. Ive never owned a gun before and didn't have a clue about them. Since they didn't have the exact gun I wanted in stock the guy showed me something similar in size and even let me hold it to get the feel of it. I put my name on the list to be called when it came in. Fast forward about a month later and I finally get the phone call to come pick it up. I get there and Vanessa was there waiting for me. She went over everything that was in the box with me and how to use everything, how to load it and how to hold it. Then she helped me pick out some ammo both for the range and some for protection. We picked out some ear protection, she showed me which ones would be the best and then some cleaning materials. I'm very happy both about my first gun and the service they provided. The only thing I was sad about was when I got home I noticed one corner of the box was ripped. I wish I would of noticed before I left the store so I could of exchanged it. read more

I went in to merely inquire about a trade in or get an estimate of the value for a subcompact pistol. The staff in general were very rude, and one salesman in particular was making snide remarks and comments.They shill for Sig Sauer big here and if you even suggest another brand they will tell you how inferior it is compared to Sig Sauer®™©. If you wish to be belittled, then come here. They actually punish FFL transfers from certain sites(PSA) by having a higher premium. The CCW "discount" is 5 bucks, (woo hoo). The one star rating is only for the location and store itself. They do have a very nice store with a nice selection. They are way way overpriced however. You can drive 30 minutes to the valley and find much better prices. The prices on their transfer fees are ridiculous. They charge $25 if you have a CCW and $30 if you don't. Furthermore, if you happen to purchase a firearm from what they classify as a "Premium" online seller (such as Bud's or PSA), then the transfer fees double. Now you are looking at $50 and $60! That's highway robbery folks. I get it, they need to make a buck. But on that same token, I will be darned if I am going to just flush my hard earned money down the toilet. My suggestion would be to use Casa Grande Jewelry & Pawn, located on Pinal, for any of your online purchases. They charge $10, regardless if you have a CCW or not, or where online you purchase your firearm. read more

Unimpressed with the selection and service. It's a shame as it appears that the small town gun stores seem to feel that they are entitled to not care because they're one of the few in town. Do yourself a favor and check out some of the small stores in Chandler, Gilbert or Mesa when it comes time to buy. read more

Not suitable for senior citizen ladies! My wife left the class in tears feeling harassed, intimidated and humiliated. The instructor noted my wife was apprehensive, stressed and fearful, but said he `had seen it all` and would be flexible and creative with her. Instead, he was impatient and unwilling or unable to adapt to the situation. I went into the store the following week to talk to the owner about the unsatisfactory experience. He was unwilling to accept ANY responsibility and began yelling at me. After repeatedly asking him not to yell, that I thought my wife should have been accorded the respect other instructors gave the other ladies in the class, the owner refused a refund or ANY remedy, and ordered me out of his store, threatening me with arrest. read more

Took the CCW class, did not finish. I've been shooting different pistols for about 40 years and although I have good groups, know how to load, unload and clear a weapon, that was not good enough for the instructor. Not only did he show and tell me how I should be shooting, he insisted I do it his way. Within 2 hours I could barely hit the target, got frustrated with myself and quit. I have never had a worse time on a range. I feel so screwed up now I don't know if I could get a ten inch group on a target 2 feet away. Every position he insisted I adapt to was not just uncomfortable but was painful at times. The instructor is very good, he knows his stuff and might have made me a much better shooter if I had his expertise 40 years ago, but it's to late for this old dog now. I have lost confidence and desire because of my experience today. I've put my gun away for a while, I've always loved shooting and hope that with a little time I'll head back to the range and get back some confidence, then maybe not. For a new shooter, he'd be great, for you old guys, don't expect to just show your competence, hopefully you'll survive. Be Safe... read more
