I rented backpacking gear here for a Havasupai trip after calling ahead because I hadn't backpacked…read morein years and wanted guidance on what equipment I needed. When I arrived to pick up my reservation, none of the gear had been prepared. I spent over an hour in the store while employees searched for equipment, including the cookset I had reserved. I was eventually given a Jetboil stove and separate cookset, but no one explained any compatibility limitations and the only instruction was provided after I specifically asked. On the trip, while boiling water for dinner, the stove caught fire and we extinguished it immediately. When I returned the gear and explained what happened, I was told I would be charged for the damaged equipment. The most disappointing part of the experience was the interaction with the owner. Rather than discussing what happened professionally, he told me he couldn't believe someone could be "so stupid" and that the employees were all laughing at me in back for not knowing that I could only use one of the two pots they rented me with the stove and said I should have Googled it before renting it (not that the brand or model was listed on their website). Mistakes happen. Had this been limited to a reservation mix-up or equipment issue, I probably would not be writing this review. What turned me away permanently was the way the situation was handled afterward. As a final note, the store called me three days after I returned the equipment because it had not been checked back into their inventory system and they wanted to confirm I had actually returned it, so their inventory management issues didn't seem like a one off.

The tent is extremely high quality and the design is awesome and eye catching, I've been getting compliments left and right. I love my tent and it cost me a fraction of the price my local guy would have charged me for my boring, straight forward design. The only additional things we got separately were backpacking chairs and a pillow but you can get those from them as well. The staff were super nice and made this whole rental process super easy with picking up and dropping off. Fenrir GW offers safety related courses in their training room. The class co-training partner was Nick Adam of Delta Defense LLC and course work is Sanctioned by USCCA. The Class 5/5 Protecting Houses of Worship. Attendees were Houses of Worship Security Managers and Security Teams. There was more than 40 people in attendance from across the Valley. Course Objective was to provide FBI Data and trends, actual incident details, actual responses and outcomes for the purpose of developing plans for making attendee Houses of Worship less vulnerable. Takeaway 5/5 The course accomplished its objective and sent attendees away with tools to bring back for improving their physical security and sharpen planning to respond to potential or actual threats. Unfortunately this is a topic more Houses of Worship are actively addressing due to Increases of incidents nation wide. Today 6/22/25 two more Houses of Worship were attacked in the US. I pray for the safety of all who attend Houses of Worship regardless of religion/faith that they may do so in peace, Amen. SYOY

Yak n Sup - Amazing Experience From Start to Finish I…read morerecently had an amazing experience at Yak n Sup from the very first phone call to the moment we wrapped up our time on the water. I called and spoke with Braden, and she was truly outstanding. She got everything set up quickly and made sure my wife and daughter and I were taken care of right away. Her kindness and professionalism set the tone for the whole day. Once we arrived, we were greeted by iLa, who made the experience even better immediately. Everything felt welcoming, organized, and effortless--exactly what you want when you're planning a fun day as a family. We started with a tandem paddle boat for my wife and me, and my daughter did a single paddle boat. From the moment we were getting ready, the team members working to help us get set up were great--thank you to all the gentlemen who made sure we were comfortable and ready to go. What made it even more special was that we were able to enjoy the left side wildlife serenity experience. The scenery was beautiful, and it was such a memorable way to see Canyon Lake. We also came around Dolly, the paddle boat that takes people around the lake and offers dinner and shows--that whole portion of the experience was incredible and added even more excitement to the day. All in all, everything was amazing, and I want to sincerely thank the entire Yak n Sup team for making our day so enjoyable, smooth, and memorable. We'll definitely be back! We booked ahead of time, and my only suggestion was to book 1/2 hour ahead of when you expect as the road going up to the lake had a few trucks towing boats so we were about 10 minutes late. We did not rent a dry bag, as we did not feel we needed it, also the kayak had a little hatch to stow a phone to key things dry.

Since they didn't have the exact gun I wanted in stock the guy showed me something similar in size and even let me hold it to get the feel of it. I put my name on the list to be called when it came in. Fast forward about a month later and I finally get the phone call to come pick it up. I get there and Vanessa was there waiting for me. She went over everything that was in the box with me and how to use everything, how to load it and how to hold it. Then she helped me pick out some ammo both for the range and some for protection. We picked out some ear protection, she showed me which ones would be the best and then some cleaning materials. I'm very happy both about my first gun and the service they provided. The only thing I was sad about was when I got home I noticed one corner of the box was ripped. I wish I would of noticed before I left the store so I could of exchanged it.

We went on the Salt River Wild Horse Kayak Experience - what an amazing and fun experience! We saw…read moremany wild horses, including a colt, along the river banks and crossing the river. Teri and Erin, our guides, were wonderful. The trip was seamless - they texted us the location to meet them, had day passes for our car, and then transported us to the intake location. They had water for us, and snacks during a mid-trip stop, and Teri took pictures the whole trip, so we didn't have to be concerned about bringing our phones or cameras on the trip. They made it so easy for us to just relax and enjoy the experience. Will definitely do this again and highly recommend it for others!
