My father is getting surgery biopsy and I got to see the staff is really friendly and very helpful for a knowledgeable exercise, extreme care, comfort and careful consideration. Just because I haven't had a good experience personally that Morceau has to do with me and my chronic pain so I'm writing this review to showcase my experience outside my usual issue. I am very grateful to the wonderful staff very friendly, very professional. Do you want the gentleman who will escort you from the office to the Dr. is very friendly and professional. All four of my boys were born here. Great staff very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Also had surgery and everything went well.

I was checked in a 3am and home by 530am. All of the staff were great, and the time from check in to being put in a room, labs, CT, to discharge was quick and the quality of care was exceptional. read more

Dr. Josh Wade barely even gave me the time of day for my sprained knee, he walked in, roughly jerked it around, then tried to walk out without even letting me ask questions. He gave me work restrictions, but then on our last visit never stated on the chart that my restrictions were over, and now he is saying that if I need a note for work saying that I don't have restrictions anymore I have to set up a whole new visit. On top of this, I also had to pay for two separate x-rays because they said that they couldn't find the images from the x-ray I had just gotten done a few days before and at this time I was uninsured. I had also called patient services to change my number so that when I got the results of my mono test it would come to my phone, they stated they changed my number but they never did, and when I called asking to change my number again and get my results since they had called my old number with the results, they said they could not give them to me. They are all unprofessional and I do not recommend going there if you enjoy your money and peace of mind. read more

I tried to schedule an appt with Dr.Jones. I have been a LONG term patient, but rarely call unless absolutely necessarily. i waited nearly 6 hours for a call back, but despite the wait, learned I could not schedule an appt until over 1 month. This was a result of an emotional call. there was no attempt on nurse Melanie's to determine the reason or seriousness of the call. In the past, if I had a bladder infection, I would get right in to see Dr. Jones, but this time, with an emotional need, I was put off over a month. This is unacceptable. My daughter took her life 3 months ago. When will we take emotional needs seriously????? read more

I entered the emergency room at 3:30 PM. I had to be in a wheelchair because I was unable to walk in great pain.. after two hours 5:30 PM I receptionist if there was any progress being made to get me was after two other people have asked that have been there for more than two hours. The seating room was not busy the receptionist said she will have somebody come and talk to me like she told the other two people I waited an hour for someone to come to talk and like the other people no one came out I understand there is a wait time but three hours does not seem realistic when the right room only had two or three people. I noticed one lady laying on the floor and she was throwing up. No one from the staff came to ask her if she needed a blanket or help only a lady in the waiting room this is the second time I have gone to emergency at CgH and both times I've waited more than three hours or longer. I my wife finally drove me to Dixon and I was admitted and out of than an hour and a half. It's unfortunate that they have. No communication.. I have been to probably five different states even the one at unprofessional and doesn't seem to care. read more

My mother had a simple procedure, she was released the following day after complaining of extreme pain and discomfort. Her discharge papers were shoved in bag and blank. By the following morning she had passed, we have no cause of death. CGH is hiding something from her family. Absolutely awful place. read more

Was DENIED service today because "we don't take your insurance". I asked how much the out of pocket cost would be so I could file a claim with my insurance and was told "you need to find a new Dr. We just tell people you can no longer be seen here because of your insurance. " Really??? I am willing to pay out of pocket but you simply refuse to honor the appointment. Wow. Worst medical provider I have ever encountered. Avoid at all costs. read more

Went there after dentist had 12 teeth removed and half my face was swollen I had a black eye and they did nothing but give me gauze and send me home and on top of it we tried to tell them what the problem was and they told us to be quiet so I went to KSB the next day found out I had an infection and a crack sinus I will never go back to CGH because I've had only bad experiences there read more

Minimal care should be the mission statement for this facility. I am so disappointed at the care given to my mother in law. She went in with flu, pneumonia, and sepsis. After dumping 2500cc of iv fluid into her, they had to give her lasix to remove the extra fluid. No I and O (measure in and out of fluid) with this issue. No breathing treatment unless she asked. She was too sick to ask. No cough medicine given although she would cough to the point of gagging. Nurses couldn't get out of the room fast enough ( and she is a nice, pleasant lady)! IV antibodies given only every 48 hours instead of the normal 24 hours for that specific drug (I understand this is a doctor's order issue). No excuses for this lack of care. I have been a nurse for over 20 years and did my training at this hospital. It is not what it used to be. read more

This hospital is an excellent facility. At least the cardiology department is. I was there for 3 days and received the best possible care anyone could ask for. The doctors are not only brilliant, but have the best personalities I've ever encountered in a hospital. And the nurses make you feel like you're friends. I'd give the entire staff 10 stars if I could ! read more

This hospital will not treat people who they have on their list even if they are in a bad accident so don't go here.
