I took my prescription to Shopko to get my glasses. Samantha comes over to help and just pulls out frames and says what looks good and doesn't. I find some and she says the arms are shorter but they will be ok because the ones I have are long(old glasses). It takes 3 weeks after I was told 1 week to get them. I try them on and they feel crooked and I have a hard time seeing out of the right eye. They tell me they are straight and that I have to adjust. I come back because I'm still having problems and they are hurting bad behind my ear. They tell me to go to my eye Dr. to make sure the prescription is correct. I go and she calls Shopko to verify the material used. It is polycarbonate and my original glasses are plastic. I was never asked what material I wanted. My Dr said to have them make them in plastic and that will fix my vision issue. She also said that my frames were too small. That the arms were too short. So I go for the second pair of glasses. I explain the situation to the lady (very short hair). She says to go get some frames. She never gets up from where she was working. I find some that have longer arms than what I have thinking they will work. She marks only my right eye and tells me 1 week. I get my new (2nd pair) glasses. They are loose. So they adjust them and I think they are ok. I wear them to work and they are falling down all day. So I got back to get them adjusted. Heather helps me this time. She works with the glasses and they are still too loose. She asked to look behind my ears. She says that there is about 5mm distance that she needs to bend the arms. Which will cause them to be curved far behind my ears. She suggests different frames to fit me better. She goes over with me and helps me find some that will fit behind my ears like they should. She explains the difference in the plastic glasses and glasses with the nose pieces. How the plastic fit your nose different with the arch. I find some that are a good fit. Heather was exceptional with helping me out after 2 failed pairs of glasses and not much help from the other ladies. I would recommend Heather if you have ever had problems with how your glasses fit. read more

I Recently went in to the Dixon ill shop for a new pair of safety glasses ...Dayna was WONDERFUL ..helped me pick out frames ...but then informed me there were NO matching side shields in with the frames so i could check how they d fit my face etc .When I asked the manager why the frames werent intact ...she VERY CURTLY told me id have to order them separately. ?Why arent the SAFETY FRAMES in the box complete i asked ...AGAIN we order the side shields separately ...was the reply ...well I decided, seeing as dayna was SO helpful that id spend the 600 dollars ...WOW....for these glasses . waited almost 2 weeks.. witch is fine .Was called said they were in . LO AND BEHOLD ...no side shields !!! Could not wear them at work!!!!When i asked the manager AGAIN where they were ...and why i was told my glasses were complete...i got the bums rush from the store and shed CALL ME when the side shields came in ....ONE WEEK LATER i had to go back A 3RD TIME to get them installed ...again Dayna was there did a great job installing them ....that manager had the AUDACITY to say " You cant leave until we check the fit" even though id had the glasses for a week !!!WILL NEVER set foot in your store again ...will tell EVERYONE i know not to go there !!!!Hopefully Dayna will find a real optical shop to work for.. I feel i was HORRIBLY overcharged and treated like DIRT by the Dixon ill shopko manager....yes i work and am dirty after it but i still deserve respect ... read more
