They've missed pick-up twice because of trucks not in running order and this week they picked up before 8:00 AM and most of the customers didn't have time to put their trash out. Usual pick-up is any where from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Needless to say my trash can is full and won't be picked up again until next Friday. A one star is more than they deserve. You always get this when a large company buys out a small company, they just don't care!!! read more

If I could post a NEGATIVE number, I would! This is two weeks of trash that has not been picked up. Last week they didn't come on Friday (normally Thursday but was a holiday). When we called, we were told that they were not gonna pick it up until this week on Thursday. They were going to give us a credit. I didn't really want credit. I wanted my trash picked up well, yesterday was Thursday and it came and went without any trash being picked up. We have had a few hours of phone calls and holds. We had multiple people state it would be today. It's nearly 6 at night and trash is still here! We were told someone would be out with a pickup truck if need be. We called again and it was changed to Monday. No call to us. This is unacceptable!! Note... weekend is passed and Monday is here. The company confirmed with us this morning at 8 o'clock. That are trash would be picked up today. Still not picked up. Husband called back and now they say it's going to be Wednesday. This is utterly ridiculous no more. I wish I could give them zero stars. At least once a month they just don't show up. I'm not sure how this company stays in business. I will say the multiple times I've called customer service, they have been apologetic and will issue a weekly refund. However, a $3 credit doesn't mean much when my trash cans are all overflowing. read more

If you want huge ruts made in your yard when they pick up your trash, broken wheels off your trash can and it never being replaced (and lied to that they replaced it when it's obviously the exact same numbered trash can), your bill to go up and up, sitting on the phone for over 30 minutes plus every time you call then this is the company for you! This has got to be the most unprofessional, unreliable, lazy, dishonest trash company we have ever had. I'm embarrassed we gave them so many chances. Bad business with zero integrity! read more

Third time in 2 months my trash has been missed. I called before closing on a Friday even stating my trash hadn't been picked up. I was assured it would be picked up before the end of the day. It's now Saturday morning and my trash is still here. They miss constantly, ever time I call it's the same thing "we have no reason why your trash was missed." read more

If I could give this place anything less than one star I would. The one star rating shown here on yelp is much too generous. These people are very difficult and unfriendly. Unfortunately they feel like you have no alternative so they act like a typical government employee who really doesn't care about you. Awful billing problems, and continually missed pickups. $55 late fee for bills that were already paid, and phone calls asking for money weeks after you have paid. The slight savings over other companies is NOT worth your hassles and fake late fees. Customer service for Advanced Disposal (the "corporate office") is completely out of the loop and unhelpful. The local office for CGS says they are sorry (or worse that they will do something to correct an issue, and then do nothing), but seem to have no interest in fixing it. read more

Terrible customer service. The never mailed my bill and then suspended my service. I made a payment and they said well you have to make it on this day for your trash to get picked up. I will now have 3 weeks of trash sitting on the curb. read more

Ordered a 20 yard dumpster. Recurved a quote with no delivery charge. They deliver dumpster and it was full of debris( dirt and concrete). My husband took pictures of the inside of the dumpster. We received a bill for over weight. He asked them what the weight of the dumpster was before delivery. They do not weigh them. They took off 2 tons on the charges. There was a delivery fee of $60 that they added. When asked where that was on the quote, she stated she didn't know why we didn't receive the correct info. She emailed him the form with the $60 on it and refused to credit that amount. Will NEVER use this company again and will be changing our trash service away from them also. read more

I dont even have trash pick up with them. I constantly have to pick trash out of my yard when it falls out of bins when the automatic arm picks up. Or they just throw bins manually. I have watched this happen. I finally yelled at driver told him as he was getting ready to drive off leaving trash in my yard. The field directly across street from pick up is filled with trash. This place knows they are the cheapest waste removal in greenfield and so their customer service sucks. I was first annoyed I couldn't just put bags on the curb before I received my barrel. Then I called questioning my statement amount. I later realized I was incorrect but the woman on the phone was nasty from the beginning. Then they used to take additional trash that wouldn't fit in the barrel but 2 weeks in a row they left a box I was trying to get ride of. I called to cancel and the woman didn't even ask why or try to improve the situation. Plus even though my bill isn't due until the end of this month May is a month on my next bill. So I had to pay for one pick up today before I could end my services. Most companies want their money upfront so it's strange to me you don't have to pay for an entire month until the month is over. I switched to Fisk and have heard wonderful things. Worth the extra $2 a month and I can leave bags on the curb. read more

The only reason I'm giving them 1 star is because 0 is not an option. Horrible service. Office staff are friendly, however, the drivers have no regard or respect for people's property - if they even pick up your trash at all. We will be looking for a new company to deal with! read more

I have to say the worse experience ever with a company. I have had numerous promises from Kathy, Nicole and Jessica that my trash would be picked up. It has now been one month since my last pick-up. I will be searching for a new company that actually picks up trash, as I pay them to do. read more

An Advanced Disposal Company??? PLEASE!!! They are a completely incompetent company. The only reason I went with them is because they have a contract with the town of Lapel. We started our service at the end of 2018 and they failed to pick up our trash or recycling about 1/3 of the time. I called CGS multiple times, emailed them, and called the Lapel town hall to complain. Nothing changed. They failed yet again to pick up this past Wednesday (our scheduled day) and when I called again to complain that they skipped our house, I was told "Well, ok." I wouldn't give these moronic crooks another penny. I will personally seek out another trash company to service this area, negotiate a bulk price, deliver flyers door-to-door to promote another company, and petition the town council to NOT renew CGS's contract when it comes up for renewal. Read the other reviews on here. It is obvious they do not care about their customers and they do not possess the basic skills to complete the job they are compensated to do. Steer clear of these idiots. read more
