Renovations are looking great! Nice and clean! New owners have really worked hard to make it nice!

They've got some brand new washers and the gentleman that attends the laundromat is always so helpful and friendly. They've also got new reliable, change machines and ATM however, one thing to note is that the drying time went down to five minutes for a quarter so it takes a lot more money to dry. I used this facility 20 years ago. It had more options for cleaning clothes, none-the-less it's still a good reasonable place to do laundry. It is dated. It is rundown, but the machines clean the clothes, they are reasonably priced, the staff is friendly and the clients are appreciative. I commend the owners for keeping the facility and keeping it in the neighborhood. During my current visit, a Latino came in scoping out the place loud talking about he was going to be the next owner. How he was going to raise the prices and how many other laundromats he has. I hope the Ray family won't sell. That would change the whole dynamic of what you've built. It seems to me it's not about the money for you. Thank you Mr. Ray, I see you still come in which shows you care. You don't need us but we need and appreciate you. God bless and keep you. I used to come here as a child (30 years ago) with my mom and haven't been back since. Stopped in to do a couple of loads that won't fit in my washer at home and this place hasn't changed a bit. And I think that's why it's one, if not only, still affordable laundromats in Indy. They still have the smaller $2 washers which I appreciate and the prices on their larger washers are priced fairly. The place is dated but it is clean and enables the owner to keep the prices low. The owner was very helpful in finding my way around. Will certainly be a returning customer. read more

While the prices weren't bad, this place is in serious need of a facelift. Many machines were taped shut and the amount of ominous water spots on the ceiling was a little alarming. There wasn't enough seating for the amount of folks there, so I watched people sluggishly walking around while they waited. The attendant on duty did regularly walk around and check for empty baskets/sweep, but the visuals of the place were just bad. I hope the owners are able to reinvest into this business, because the demand is definitely there. read more

I was sitting in my car watching my clothes and watched the owner go up to the dryer and take my shoes out of the dryer. I go in to check on my clothes and he says "I had to pick your shoes up off the floor bc they knocked the dryer door open." I said "oh that's weird bc I watched you take them out of the dryer." He proceeded to argue with me about whether or not he took them out of the dryer when I literally watched him open the dryer door and take them out. Place is also really dirty and over-priced. My washer stopped working so I went to a laundrymat I had been to years ago. I didnt expect anything fancy and I was shocked at how the place has gone downhill. Many washers were taped shut and some even had the coin mechanisms removed. The ceiling tiles showed lots of evidence of a leaking roof. The whole place did not look clean. There was no visible attendant. Perhaps there was someone working who I could not see. If I had wanted to drop off my laundry and have them do it, I'm not sure anyone would have assisted me. Sadly I cannot recommend this laundrymat anymore and will have to go farther away to find a clean, functioning place. read more

This is a great place to go when you need to do large things like rugs & comforters, or want to do multiple loads at once to get 'er done. Wash is 1.75 & dry is 25¢ for 8 minutes. Larger washers are about $5. There's a laundry supplies vending machine & snack, cold drink, & coffee machines. There's a dollar changer, a few coin operated games, TV, usually some magazines & Nuvo. A sign states they have free Wi-Fi. They also will do your laundry for you, charging by the pound. There's always an attendant, answering questions & keeping the place tidy. It could use a little updating, but all in all, a clean & friendly place to spend an hour doing laundry. read more

The owner of this place was extremely rude and disrespectful to my friend and I while we were here. We came in to wash a comforter and she was going to take a few photos of me while I used their services. Before we did anything he came up to us, clearly frustrated and told us that we could not take a single photo and that we needed to leave. We left quietly and could hear him angrily talking about us to other customers. (Weird & rude?) We went to anothet Laundromat near by and when we were finished I dropped my friend off at her car and he came outside, asked if we found another place to do "our little photo shoot" (mind you I DID have laundry to do) and when I responded "yes we found a cute place" he responded "well you don't have to be an asshole" I was surprised and drove away. Terrible customer service and gave up an opportunity for a good yelp review with awesome photos. I recommend nobody use this place. Clean Scene Laundromat is only .5 miles away and way nicer anyways. Idk how this man is in business if he treats all his customers like he treated us. read more

GREAT PLACE! In business since 1967: that says something. Yes, the establishment could use a facelift. But I started going there w/ Mom as a kid in the 60's when it was nice and new, so I can forgive the well-worn look of the place. They do keep it clean. Plenty of working machines, enough oversize front loaders to come in and do all of your blankets at once and leave (that's the only reason I need to go these days). I went to wash my coats. The male attendant on 1/25/2021@5:00pm was very rude, nasty and stared when we walked in. Meanwhile telling another customer he's about to stir up some drama (wow). Their $2.00 washer didn't spin my daughter's coat out completely, I told him about it and asked if he could assist in making it right. The individual hollered and asked "what washer?!!!" He argued that it shouldn't have been in that washer and says nothing he could do about it. I asked for the owners number he all of a sudden can do something then. The dryer took my quarters I told him about that. He hollered again "what dryer?"!!!!! Then sighed and said "hold on a minute. I didn't expect such a seasoned person to act in such an ignorant way! Clean looking laundromat, helpful owner, but does NOT offer Dry Cleaning services as indicated in the search! Owner directed me to a nearby cleaners, even though he couldn't help me. There does seem to be a press it yourself, at your own risk machine. I'm bot bold enough to try it with my pants! read more
