February 2021 - COVID Review: My husband and I found Cha Group through their highly rated Google and Yelp reviews! After inquiring with other CPAs in the area, Cha Group was the best value because they charge a flat rate for tax preparation - unlike how others charge an hourly fee, which can get steep quickly. We safely met in person twice (they check temperatures, have hand sanitizer, and there's plastic screens at the desks) - once to turn in a bunch of paperwork that would've been too much to upload to the secure online portal and Andy patiently answered all of our questions. The second time we came was to go over our tax return and sign before he e-filed for us. Andy and his team are so quick to respond, are very knowledgeable, and kind! The entire process was so quick and painless, we didn't know why it took us so long just to finally have a professional file our taxes! I did call their office to get a quote and was told that the individual tax preparation starts at $600 and increases with each schedule. With just a few schedules the quote quickly jumped to $1,000. I am only addressing the "value" proposition as a prospective customer and was able to find several competitor prepares that include tax consultation for 40% less. read more
