But I spend a couple extra minutes in their lobby, finishing up some financial transactions, and I was harassed by their staff about my presence in their bank ((as their customer!)) no one else was in the bank... And I was dressed entirely professionally, as I was on my way to the office. Probably will never visit them in person again and will move my loan and my checking as soon as possible.

For more than a decade, I had two business corporate accounts one in Portland and the other in Vancouver. When the Portland business closed, I decided to make our joint personal checking account a Unitus account. Then in order to increase our options, ,my wife and I opened a Home Equity Line of Credit on our fully paid up house. The processes for everything was easy and without any hassles. While most financial institutions claim that you are a person, they treat you as a number with little regard for who you are or what you want or need. Unitus, in my experience, is just the opposite. I can call any time and resolve a problem or find an answer within minutes. They will even call back without keeping me on hold. Their promises are kept. Their staff is a pleasure to work with for all things. My business partners, my wife and I highly recommend this for almost all financial needs.

Everyone told us to mentally prepare, so we did. We put on our toughest skin, got all of our documents ready and prepared ourselves for weeks of pain in order to get our dream home. Turned out our preparation was unneeded. Andy Perry with Premier Mortgage Resources gave us, what we considered to be equivalent to white-glove service. Communication was key with Andy Perry; he would email us as soon as he needed a document, so we could turn around and email it back. He answered all of our questions quickly and in a way that we could understand, he even took care of some of our phone calls for us, knowing that he would have better answers than we would. We never felt rushed, we never felt pressured, and we never felt stressed. The entire transaction was over in three weeks and we still keep in touch. Andy even came to our signing, something not often heard of for a loan officer - he took a photo of us signing our documents, a picture that is now on the living room wall of our dream home.
