    Drunken Noodles with seafood
    Alex K.

I've had disappointing Thai experiences in this area but someone recommended this place, so we tried it out, and were not disappointed! Happy to find quality Thai food in the area. We had the drunken noodles with seafood (shrimp and scallops), appetizer combo, red curry, and tofu and vegetables. The serving size was plentiful, and there was a great amount of seafood with the drunken noodles. The curry was also delicious. I'm definitely a fan!

There's a reason this place is the most recommended Thai place in Johns Creek! I came here with my family and we were seated right away. For appetizer we went with the chicken curry puffs which were tasty however I wish their was more chicken in them because it felt like I was eating only the puff. For the main course we went with Basil Fried Rice, Panang Curry, Massaman Curry and Garlic chicken. Each of these came with a vegetable soup which tasted really good because it had a clear broth with some veggies and tofu. The basil fried rice was my favorite dish and by far was the best one I have ever tried. The curries also were very flavorful with a good amount of spice. Overall, the food was amazing and came out fairly quickly. I can't wait to come back here for whenever I want Thai food!

Food is always amazing here.. Service is always on point.. and portions are generous.. great atmosphere.. hands down one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Gwinnett. Today I had the Crab Rangoon and Black Pepper shrimp. It was so yummy! The flavors are so amazing! If you are any where near Johns Creek you definitely need to check this place out! You won't be disappointed.

Garden Vegetables Dinner with Tofu (no onion or carrots, only a few celery pieces)

We have no complaints and give them five stars all the way. Before COVID, I had always wanted to eat at Chaba Thai, though I was never in the shopping center when they were open it seemed. They were most certainly worth pursuing via to-go from GrubHub! The employees were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We had the Steamed Dumplings as a shared appetizer. I was very excited to try them since they use ground chicken! We both loved the dumplings and recommend them - even the dipping sauce was great (and thicker than the traditional kind we're use to receiving). My dining companion had the Coconut Soup with Chicken, the Amazing Dinner with Beef and a Thai Iced Coffee to drink. I am told the soup was excellent and made correctly. If he absolutely had to point out something to change, he might want a little bit more lemongrass. The beef was tender, the broccoli was steamed and the peanut sauce was delicious. He would definitely order it again and not change a thing. The Thai coffee was good and very typical of a Thai restaurant. Normally my go-to with Thai cuisine is Green Curry, so I decided to be slightly different and order the Garden Vegetables with Tofu. I ordered it without onion (due to an allergy), carrots (I don't care for them) and celery (simply because I wasn't in the mood). I found a few pieces of celery in my food, which honestly wasn't a big deal. I added Extra Hot Sauce, which came on the side in two, small containers. I have yet to find anything I consider to be "spicy" but the flavor of it was amazing! My Thai Iced Tea was a perfect compliment to my meal and I loved the strength of the tea! Overall, the food was fresh and delicious to the point where we have found our new Thai restaurant.

Pad Prik (with Chicken) & Pad Kee Mow (with Pork)

The entire experience, here, made our day! We would go back tomorrow in a heartbeat to get 2x as much of the food that we received this trip. Chaba Thai's quality of food and service was phenomenal! The owner, Sudawadee, even came out and spoke to us personally. She had been the chef, working in the kitchen, for at least 15 years..! So you know, the food here is consistent and delicious.

This little restaurant has wonderful authentic Thai dishes that are delicious and not expensive. My coworkers and I ate there for lunch, I had Red Curry Thai with Shrimp, my co-workers had drunken noodles, and a spicy chicken stir fry dish. They food not only tasted wonderful but it also looked very pretty on the dish.

I don't agree with people who said food was bland, it def was not. Chaba thai is a small sized restaurant located right opposite to Regal movie theater. The place was not crowded for a saturday noon. But don't let that doubt the food! I've ordered Chicken Satay, Massaman curry with chicken and Pad prik with chicken. All the dishes arrived hot, they were flavorful and fresh. Positive: The HOT spice level was def spicy (not complaining, this is actually hard to find in westernized thai restaurants these days). The entrees came with a bowl of rice, which is quiet enough to serve 2 people. Negatives: Way too many veggies than meat. There was only one server and the service could have been way better. Also they don't serve any desserts. Overall a decent place to try thai food.

    Drunken noodles, average.
    S C.

Dinner- two orders of drunken noodles and two orders of thai ice tea . Drunken noodles- Average, there was, lot of egg then chicken and veggies. Thai ice tea - tea dust is irritating in the tea . Bad Total chk - 27 $ . 3 stars- only for service and ambiance.

Pad Thai was not prepared well for a take out order. Asked for Thai hot and it was so mild and the noodles was soo bad.

The Panang and Green curry was the best we have eaten in quite a while. The only downside was the Coconut soup which had no taste.

The ambiance is really nice and the servers are very attentive and responsive for the most part. There was a time they told us that they would bring us more rice but they ended up not bringing it and there was a slight communication barrier but nothing too crazy. The food that we ordered was pretty good. It's not spectacular or particularly flavorful but it gets the job done when you're really hungry. The shrimp appetizer and the rice paper, the fried one, is delicious. The three flavors whole fish was okay. I feel like the fish needed its own flavor and it was slightly overfried but it was fine. It started out on a promising note, busy at 2pm was interesting. They accommodated my request for pad woon sen and even brought me fish sauce and vinegar with jalapeño condiments. Unfortunately, service was lackluster as well and no one checked back. We would have returned the dish given the opportunity. Service was friendly just inattentive and disorganized. The robot delivering to go orders was cute. Skip this place, eat at home.

I've never had anything like it. We ordered the sample platter and a bowl of the crispy chicken skin. It didn't come with sticky rice, so we ordered each person that as well. The sample platter was the way to go since I don't have much experience with this cuisine! However, I will say that the depth in the flavors was perfect. In my opinion, everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection! I mean, imagine this: it was so good we ordered another one of the crispy chicken skins. But then we ended up ordering extra papaya salad as well. In short, the food was so good we needed more. I would come back here again, and I highly recommend it. The steak was tender but saltless and the sauce with it didn't really add anything but mellow sweetness. The fried egg-rice was interesting but also saltless so I only liked it with the pork belly and the pork belly dipping sauce. (no salt on the table for me to add) The place was empty except the Ubereats drivers talking super loudly on the phone for 15min at a time, kinda ruined half of the dinner; it was so abrasive at a shouting level. Waitresses were nice but rarely saw them to be able to ask for anything. When they did come by, I was already trying to get out asap. I first tried this place back in Doraville and wanted to support them, but I can't stretch my ignorance that far to be ok getting sick from $50 of dinner, 18% tip for being handed a plate and disappear, and the mood killing loud talking of delivery drivers coming in and out turning this Michelin Guide "Inspectors' Favorite" venue into a DMV/gas station ambiance. Additionally, the owner or whoever runs their social media has been chewing people out on Google reviews. Some of the complaints seem legit and some of their responses are giving petty mean-girl. Just makes me not want to go back there even more.
