Best Thai place that I have tried in Alpharetta! Tucked away in a tree lined strip mall, i love going here for lunch since it is close to my office. Interior is zen and peaceful. Typically, it has not been very busy so service is attentive. Patio seating is available too. No problem with my special request for steamed tofu with my flavorful drunken noodles. They also offer the ubiquitous 4 jars of Thai seasoning which makes my taste buds happy too! Prefer lunch as dinner prices seem high to me. Can't wait to return! read more

We met our friends here on a Sunday night to grab a late dinner and the service and food both were amazing, I got the pad ke mao as always and my husband got the massaman curry- we ordered it hot and I wish they had Thai hot cause the spice meter is slightly off. Came here with my sister to try this place out! Service and ambience were both great. As for the food, it was okay, but IMO wayyyy too expensive. We got one cup of Tom Yum soup, one order of crab rangoons, 2 sodas, one pad Thai, and one pad kee mao. The total for 2 people was $90! Definitely not worth it IMO. read more

Positives! They were nice when I came in to pickup. Place looks nice as well. Curry puffs are good but were a lil overcooked in my opinion. Whatever they sent with them was great! I LOVE pad Thai! Not from here!!! So disappointed! No good flavor, but plenty of burnt egg flavor! Asked for extra egg, nope, just burnt regular amount. Asked for medium, pretty sure this is "no spice". Genuinely the best Thai food I've had in a long long time. Our favorite spot used to be Thai of norcross but it shut down I during Covid. We got the veggie Tom yum soup, tofu panang curry, and tofu basil fried rice - medium spice. Sometimes I think the medium is not spicy enough at certain places but this was A PERFECT MEDIUM. I didn't love the Tom yum but I'm sure it would be better with shrimp. Best basil fried nice and panang curry I've had in forever. Crisp veggies and rich depth in flavor. The service was fast and I appreciated that the server was not over serving (he did a good job not overly asking us if we were ok all the time - other servers take notes)! He also was very genuinely happy to be there and gave great recommendations. The ambiance in this place is FANTASTIC. Beautiful greenery and traditional Thai decor as well. The place was pretty quiet on a Friday afternoon but service was quick and attentive. The Atomic Roll (one of the few roll options available that isn't cooked) was massive and tasty, though a little heavy on the sauce. A night at Thoom's is a night well spent! Get ready and come in with a hungry stomach , because YOU WILL EAT. The food is simply divine. I was having my usual Thai cravings, and this place hit the mark! First impressions are everything to me, and Thoom's did not disappoint at all. They have a parking lot for parking, the area is nice, and the set up and decor of Thoom's lets you know, that the food hits. When you walk in you're greeted with scents of delish dishes and spices! Yum! They have inside and outside seating, and we opted for outside, even though inside was beautiful. We sat at a high top like table and buoyed the patio lights as the sun began to set, and enjoyed cheese rolls and crab Rangoon rolls, that were amazing and each bite gave the perfect amount of crunch. The service here is impressive as the staff are friendly, super attentive and they genuinely enjoy what they do. Our main shared dishes were papaya salad, fried rice with shrimp, and a dish with braised pork pieces with basil leaves and veggies. Omgeeeeee, everything had its own delicate aroma and taste. Exploding flavors of Thai cuisine helped me to choose Thoom's moving forward for all of my Thai cravings. I selected a rice lager for my drink of choice and it didn't disappoint! Everything is pretty solid here. We got the chicken satay for appetizer. We got the Thai curry noodles with shrimp, the Thai fried rice with mixed seafood, and panang curry with tofu. The flavor was all there. The spice was great. The only thing is I wish the panang curry was less sweet and a little more savory. The Thai tea was delicious too. Service was great. This was a last minute choice on Mother's Day to avoid crowds and it didn't disappoint! We were sat immediately and were able to order. We were a party of three and we ordered 2 glasses of Sauvignon Blanc, Tom Kha, Spring Rolls, Basil Shrimp Fried Rice, Basil Chicken Fried Rice, & Masaman Curry. BEWARE of this restaurant! In my over 20 years of working as a medical sales professional I have never experienced what I did on December 17th. An order was placed at Thoom's Kitchen thru DoorDash for a pickup delivery for my client. As the staff was coming in to grab their food, we noticed that several of the individual orders were missing. We called Thoom's advising them of this and that we would like to come and pick up the rest of the order. Two ladies started denying that there was food missing. We tried explaining again that some of the food was missing, but they started yelling in the phone. Then we were disconnected. I went to the restaurant to speak with a manager only to find out that one of the ladies that was yelling in the phone was the manager. She began yelling again. I told her if she did not give me the food that I would dispute the charges for the food that we did not receive. She started yelling again and threw the receipt at me. This took place in front of their customers. At that point, even if they would have provided the food I would not have accepted it, due to their aggressive, despicable behavior. I am still in a state of shock! Dispute was approved. What goes around comes around. read more

We've come here a number of times and ordered several different entrees! All entrees we've had have been fantastic!! We've also taken family from out of town and they really liked it as well. My favorite dish is the Chicken Pad Kee Mao. Make sure you specify your desired spice level! I've also tried the Pineapple Fried Rice and Chicken Pad See Ew. The Pad See Ew is delicious and has the perfect mix of soy and sweet flavors. We haven't tried the desserts yet but the coconut cake and mango sticky rice at the next table looked delicious!! My partner got the Pad See Ew and really enjoyed it as well. In addition, we also ordered the mango sticky rice which was really really good. Not too sweet, but the perfect ending to a great meal! The service was OK. We went on a random weekday evening and didn't think it would be that crowded, but there were a ton of people as well as really large groups celebrating different events there. Unfortunately as a result, the service was pretty slow and we were there for maybe two hours. I'm not sure if this occurs often but either way, I'll be going back for sure! read more

I liked how they were playing chilled out music. The prices match the decor. We had a little of everything on this visit. The cheese rolls were served piping hot with a sweet dipping sauce. They had minced shrimp in them as well. The fresh rolls were vegetarian. I thought they were ok but my least favorite thing we ordered due to the size and the price. I am used to having shrimp or tofu as an option. Not here. The larb , ordered medium spicy was FANTASTIC! I would be sure to order that in my next visit. It was one of the better tasting larbs I have had. My tofu pad Thai was ordered spicy. While it did have some heat it was not what I would consider spicy in a Thai restaurant except for one random bites got towards the end that was crazy hot. It was a decent sized portion and the bean sprouts were so crisp and delicious on top. Overall I would likely come back.
