Stopped in on Fri to ask if I needed an appointment for an oil change. Was told no, just drop it…read moreoff, takes about an hour. I told him I would be back Monday and he replied he opens at 8am. I show up Mon 8:15 and there is another person sitting in their car waiting. A young guy was just opening the garage doors. I asked if I could get an oil chg. He says sure just move your car. He proceeded to back a vehicle out of the garage and drives off. About 5 min later the person I spoke to on Fri pulls in and parks next to the other car waiting. They both get out of their cars and were talking for about 15 min looking at some stuff in his truck bed. Meanwhile I am still standing there. Eventually they finish and he approaches me and I tell him what I need. I give my contact info and leave my keys. He said he will call in an hour or hour and a half. I killed time at starbucks but after 1:35 minutes I walked back thinking they must be finishing up. Well he had not even started on it. I saw two people waiting inside the office and he was talking to someone else. I told him I couldnt wait any longer and asked for my keys. He returned them without a word, no explanation, no apology. He handed my key over and turned to talk to someone not even looking at me. I was looking for a new place and sadly this was my 1st (and last) attempt to establish business with them.

I am often told "we only have 1 technician" ', or "we're pretty full", or "We are short on staff". Sometimes I am not able to just jump up, and I'm not able to schedule appointments because I work. I will NEVER GO BACK TO THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!! To my friend who referred me, I tried, but I just CANNOT!!!!!

Wasn't the closest mechanic but we went out of our way to go to him. Super nice and a straight shooter on what your car needs or doesn't need. It's a small shop and they're always busy with cars already there from the day or days before, so they may not be able to get you in and out that day which is totally fair and understandable! Best to call or get there first thing in the AM and Melvin & Kurt will absolutely do their best to get you in as he can with the jobs they've already committed to. He runs the shop, works the cars AND also answers the phone, so don't be discouraged if it rings for a minute or you have to call back, he's only one guy! I had a great experience today. I brought my 2005 Dodge Viper in for an oil change. No one else…read morewanted to change it for me. Not even the Bergeron Dodge Dealer on Veterans would touch it. I arrived at 7:30 a.m. (they open at 7:00) and was personally greeted by Mr. Duckworth, the proprietor. I received a text in less than 2 hours from Mr. Duckworth that the car was ready to pick up. The price for the oil change was very reasonable. Mr. Duckworth walked me out to the car. He also pointed out that an old tire on the vehicle had a slow leak. They put air in it for me and told me to keep an eye on it. I am going to buy a new tire from Jimmy Duckworth Tires. They are only one block from my office. I wished I had gone to them years ago. Excellent service, great price. Highly recommended. Danny
