You don't know you need the insurance until a vertical root fracture happens. The practice also takes CareCredit and if you use cc you know how much that interest free payment plan means. The office administrators are incredible and will do their utmost to ensure you are seen sooner when experiencing pain. From a non-pain appointment I was also seen a little early (no complaints here). The dentists and hygienists are amazing. They listen without judgment and give honest opinions and referrals. They take seriously that some of us have childhood dental trauma and specific anxieties. When I needed one more shot of novocaine there were no questions asked and the molar extractions went quick and smoothly. I have always been allowed my noise cancelling headset and a female hygienist in the room if not a female dentist/oral surgeon. I felt seen, heard and respected. They tried to save my second molar and when it broke weeks later; I was immediately scheduled for the second extraction. I cannot recommend this place enough for affordable dental care.

They also only transferred a small portion of my xrays and records to the new dentist to try and make things difficult to switch. The icing on the cake was when the hygentist compared my teeth to "a native of Africa she had cleaned who had no access to a toothbrush and used sticks and leaves and his teeth were cleaner than mine." My out of pocket expenses were initially kind of high, so they worked with me to get the payment down to a manageable amount. The office staff is kind and professional and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. The office was, at first, a little difficult to navigate to via GPS - Google Maps wanted to take me through a street/parking lot that didn't provide access to the office, but once we knew where it physically was, it was easy. The location is right off Battleground and Benjamin Parkway. Dr. Owsley was patient with my husband, who has signficant anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. My husband came out of the office after getting his tooth pulled, raving about how wonderful his experience was.
