Imagine my distress, now, being told I needed a Root Canal!! I was *so* upset, I put it off for two years. The only other time I had a root canal, I had to have gas (very hard for the endodontist to work under these conditions) and I needed a friend in the room with me, holding my hand the entire time. ENDODONTICS OF MICHIANA: WHAT A DIFFERENCE! WHAT A RELIEF! WHAT A GREAT DOCTOR! I was amazed to find such an excellent endodondist/dentist like Dr. Bradley Swanson!! He was calm, reassuring, and totally professional. He took time, explained everything, and was simply GREAT. BEYOND GREAT! It was an easy procedure. It didn't hurt much at all. Dr. Swanson's Assistant, Christina, was also very personable, warm, and reassuring. I highly recommend Dr. Bradley Swanson and Endodontics of Michiana to anyone in need of a root canal or other dental work. BTW: This is the very first review I have ever written for YELP. This endodontist was not able to perform the root canal because he was not able to get me numb and just gave up. Having had this experience on top of my dental anxiety I was terrified coming into Dr. Swanson's office. Dr. Swanson and his team were thourough in all aspects of my visit. They made me feel comfortable (music playing in the exam room!) and fully explained everything they were going to do and again as they did it. Again I had a very difficult time getting numb but Dr. Swanson was incredibly patient and persistent until I couldn't feel a thing. Took about 4 trys but he finally got there! The procedure was quick, painfree, and I left the office much more comfortable than I came in. He also prescribed some pain medicine for the few days following the procedure when the tooth is sensitive. If you need any type of endodontic therapy go see Dr. Swanson! My only wish is he did other dental work so I could see him for all my teeth needs!

My dentist recommended Endodontic & Periodontal Associates, LTD. I'm so very thankful they did!! I thought to just have it pulled but that thought was very upsetting, I don't have luck with cracked teeth...The young ladies at the desk were so very sweet and went the extra mile, trying to get me in somewhere to have it extracted, to no avail.. He squeezed me in, could not turn me away in the pain I was in! I've had plenty of dental work, he is one of the best shot givers and the root canal was a breeze! He was so caring, and asked me frequently if I was doing ok. It can be so traumatic to have procedures done. He put me at ease and it was done pretty fast too! Saved my day, saved my tooth! I must admit some minor anxiety anticipating the procedures, but he talks you through it advising of every sound you will hear and anything you may feel. ( I mean, you really wouldn't want a doctor that stays silent then just says "oops" would you? ) This reassures you everything is under control and you can relax. I felt absolutely nothing. Interesting that I didn't 'hear' the crunching noise as I did the last extraction 20 years ago. Follow up visits to implant the tooth posts were mercifully quick and again totally painless. So yeah, I like the staff and can strongly recommend it as a very good place to go if you need someone to rip your teeth out.

I was amazed how easy the procedure was - it was done before I knew it. I think because of his decades of experience, he is the best around. I don't do many reviews, but I thought he deserved a fantastic one. Lastly, I had an issue with my insurance company, and he and his staff personally got involved to reduce my cost by hundreds of dollars. I was able to get a last minute appointment and they were able to pinpoint where my problem was. I told them that I needed this to be done immediately as we will be travelling overseas this friday.
