I hired Chad Stein Photography for an in home session for corporate headshots and family photos with our dog. Chad was extremely communicative from the beginning and all steps along the way. He explained his fees clearly and what is included. Chad brought a lighting technician and turned my living room into a studio with 4 giant lights. He explained when he was doing test shots, explained why he was doing what he was doing, and really helped me position my head and body at the right angles with clear guidance. He asked before touching my jacket sleeve to straighten a line, he told me when I could relax versus staying in position for more photos. During and after the session we reviewed the raw photos, and he explained what editing would entail and when to expect my photos, he over delivered on results and timeliness. We booked Chad Stein Photography for our annual friends and family party a couple of months ago. We knew Chad from his work at earlier events hosted by some of our friends, had found him to be very friendly, and the photos had come out great. But it was only when we engaged him for our event that we found out the true extent of his skills. Not only is Chad a great photographer, he also has a knack of doing his work with the least intrusion on the actual event - you can even forget that he is around. I had a rather large bridal party so I know photographing my wedding at the venue was probably not an easy task. He showed up even earlier than scheduled just to get a feel for the venue and see what he can do to make our photos look as great as possible. He worked hard to make me look good, although he struggled somewhat with the requirements...make a 50lb over weight man look skinnier in outdoor lighting. It was a tall order.
