Until this year i called them at the end of January to schedule service and was told it would be a few months before they could get to service my tractor. Since i had not heard from them i called in late April to see when they could get my tractor in, anyway i had to leave a message and here we are in mid-July and still have not heard from them. The item she was offering for sale included the ability to make an offer (see their other listings) lower than the asking price, which I did & explained why I did so. She could have just declined the offer politely. But nope, better to ignore. All I can say was that Lauren was rude, unprofessional & unfriendly. Maybe she was having a bad morning, but I don't deserve to be the object of her wrath. Shame on you Lauren. I was just trying to work a deal with you. I wasn't rude or disrespectful. No need to get offended or short with a potential customer. She has since removed the ability to make an offer because I pointed out to her that her listing allowed me to do so. Again all Lauren had to do was politely decline the offer. So sad. Lauren, you need better customer service & communication skills. Please take my advice & get some.

I took my 10yrar old Z435 John Deere zero turn mower to Little's, telling them it cuts off when…read morethe blade is engaged and it started making a noise. After they looked it over, the noise was just a loose belt guide, but they gave me an estimate for $3,995 and said the engine needs replaced and other issues, also said it smoked (which i never noticed). Another repair option they gave was to rebuild the engine for $2,889, but said it did not include other non engine repairs. Little's gave me the option of trading my mower in for a new one (comparable to $5k). They offered me only a credit of $228 to cover the work they did finding issues. I declined, paid the $228 and took it to Hensel's Mower Service in Parkesburg Pa., and said the same thing...that it cuts off when I engage the blades. After a week, they said it was done. I picked it up and cut my entire lawn. No issues, no smoke, perfect. Hensel's cost was $399.07...not $3,995. This included them changing all fluids, filters, belts, sharpened blades. PLEASE ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION!!!! Little's would have fixed my mower for cheap, then resold for a profit if I would have traded it in for the $228 cost of them 'going over' the mower

As a result, I've been to most every gardening place from East Earl, PA to Phoenixville to the old Agway outside West Chester to Malvern - you get the idea. I first started going to mainline gardens about 6 years ago. They had decent pots, expensive, but nice. Then I started buying plants there (mostly annuals for said pots) and they were nice enough. Now I would normally go on weekdays so I was dealing with the core crew and not the weekend staff. This spring I've been there twice (once in April and once in May) looking specifically for small perennials with varying sunlight requirements. This is the first time I've ever visited this nursery looking at things through that lens and it was beyond disappointing. The weekend staff are probably largely college aged and know absolutely nothing about the plants. They have a covered area in the back where one would assume the shade loving plants would be kept, but nope - it's a complete hodgepodge of anything from full sun to shade and seemingly no rhyme or reason to how it's organized. Yesterday I went to find a Japanese maple. All of their trees and shrubs are in full sun. Some are marked with explanatory tags that tell you about the plant, but just as many are not. I found the perfect red maple, in full sun, and stupidly assumed it was therefor a full sun plant. It isn't. So I spent $200 on a tree that won't work for where I bought it because they have no organization for their plants around sun requirements. So the take-a-way on this is - don't expect knowledgeable staff on the weekend. Don't assume they're doing any intentional placement of their inventory and go in prepared to look things up on your phone as needed. The reason I gave them 2 stars, is that in comparison to every other nursery I go to - they arrange things according to sun requirements. Shade plants are kept under cover and full sun are not. So, caveat emptor.

My husband mentioned that there is a small local business in Folsom that sells all kinds of appliance parts. I stopped by and the women there spent time with each customer giving tips on repair and ensuring they have the right part. When she waited on me, I showed her picture of the part and she said let's try this small $18 part which most likely is the problem. If that doesn't work you can Capp and I will have the switch ready for you. She was absolute right.
